i remember when i was a kid, the only episode of pokemon that made me sad was when i thought pikachu was going to leave ash =P

good old days lol

Oh, this is a sad episode. Butterfree was and still is one of my favourite pokemon. I was 11 back then and i was very sad that he left. But the saddest episode that made me cry, like Da and khkid1212 said, was the one in which Pikachu left.

Isn't Butterfree back though? It's been one year and a half since pokemon stopped here so i don't know.

 

i dunno, havne't watched it for years, tho this episode aired this morning on cable and it was nostalgia

 

seems like ash ran into it and butterfree's kids. i hardly remember it since i haven't seen it in years

That eppisode was on this morning when I was getting ready for school and I still cry when that scene shows.

 

i remember the butterfree he found had the same scarf on it that ash gave his butterfree before it left him
