I remember it had something to do with an even number...but there's no real answer to this equation.
    I solved E=mc2...but this...this equation isn't even comparable.

I believe the answer is window. But I've seen YouTube vids of people proving it's 3 or 0. They obviously don't know math :P

    2?
Heh, The number 2 really doesn't explain anything other than the fact people resort to 1-numbered answers to describe complicated equations.

There is no proof that 1+1 is solidly 2, because if that was the case then most mathematicians have concentrated too hard on sociology.

Only if the question is problem solving , you can answer with something that isn't a number.

The real question is what the 1's represent. IF 1 was just a variable for half a fish, than 1 + 1 would effectively equal fish.

Well if 1 resembles the concept of 1 (not half a fish) 1 = 0.9 recurring
    because 1/2 = 0.5 right? and 0.5 x 2 = 1 or 2/2
    and 1/3 = 0.3 recurring right? and 0.3 x 3 = 0.9 recuring or 3/3 or 1
    so 1 = 0.9 recurring.
    so 1 + 1 = 2(3(0.3 recurring))
    that is an acceptable answer!
    XD

    nah, the correct method is-

    1+pi-sigmaXspeed of light/pythagorous theorem-epsilonX0(1+1)=2

    obviously

This should be in the discussion section.

And to give my 2 cents, "1+1" is a quantity we usually use a symbol to describe it, that could either be fish, clowns, or pirate clowns. In my villalge we use 2.

Yeah, "1 and 1" is a way to describe "1+1". You got it.

    1+1 = 235 divided by 5, minus 27, then divided by 10
