Was she just imagining it, or did she hear a music box? It was almost impossible to tell where the music was coming from. It seemed as id it was coming from everywhere at once. Then she heard singing. It was the same song she had heard when that had first come to the mysterious world. Not shortly after the singing, she could hear someone coming up the stairs. Her heart rate quickened. She knew they were in danger.

Her body was shaking all over by the time she heard metal smash together. Slowly, Lilica turned to look towards the stairs. A girl with arms made of metal spikes blood dropping from them had just come up the stairs and headed toward the large closet.

Hearing Laurence shout at then caused her to act. Whispering as quietly as she could she began to say something to the other two.
"We need to go towards the girls room while she's in the closet. Now!" The girl's eyes were wide in terror as she told the others. If they didn't move now, they were going to die. "Let's go." Lili move toward the opposite direction of the murderous girl. Making sure everyone was coming too.

She heard someone shout, she swore she did. No one was in this closet. The girl clapped her arms together and turned about with a Cheshire grin. "I heard you~!" She called out in a sing song voice. "Don't you want to play?!" The girl giggled and came out of the closet, heading to the boy's room. She then saw someone dart out, a girl. She cackled and clapped her arms in glee. "THERE YOU ARE!" She began to run towards the girl, clapping her bloody metal arms together wildly. "I'M GONNA GET YOU!"​

 

Great. So much for the sneak to the other side of the stairs while she in the closet plan. The girl was coming right at Lili. She cringed as the metal spikes crashed together. With adrenaline rushing through her body, there was no way she would stop going now. She pushed herself as she sped to keep away from the terrifying being trying to murder her. 'No. No. No. No. No.' The same single word kept running through her head. Now. Lili had to got know. 'Why did he have to yell? This what I'm good at. I'm silent. But that doesn't matter now. I just have to get away. Swooshing around the corner between the girls room and the railing of the stairs. She was going to make it to the stairs. Or at the very least, just shake her off. It wasn't something she had to think about. If she didn't try- no she had to do it. Because if she didn't she was give for.

She wasn't going to dies here. Not now. This was a dream after all, or rather a nightmare. And she wasn't going to let it kill her.

The scary girl was right behind the frightened one, but she was a bit slower due to the heavy metal things of death on her arms. She laughed as she ran, clanging her arms together all the while. She was heading for the stairs, and the rules of this game were to only catch those who were up on the second floor. She couldn't lose! "COME BACK AND PLAY WITH ME!" the girl snarled and lunged at the fleeing girl, snapping her arms together to see if she got something. She heard something rip, and stood up from the floor. Cloth. She got a piece of the clothing... OOOOH! And some blood on her claws too! She had scratched the girl, probably on her legs. But she had escaped.

She then turned her attention to the boy's room. Many people were in there. "Wanna play?!" She giggled and clacked her arms together, heading straight towards them with a menacing smile. Blood dripped on the floor.​

Waiting for them was getting tiresome for her. She giggled insanely and charged straight ahead with her arms open and ready to impale someone. She charged straight in and headed for Elliot, arms snapping. "WANNA HUG?!"​

The one thing that had been on Elton's mind for a while now was that black rose. It wasn't exactly anything he knew in a true meaning, nor was it a solid meaning, but he knew enough about the color black to say that it was definitely no good at all. His halmeoni had once explained to him that black flowers were always a bad sign, regardless of how beautiful they were.​

He didn't like listening to her one bit, but when it came to flowers, he knew she was never wrong.​

​

That knowledge applied to this situation. The chaos had started with a music box, which he thought sounded very pretty, but was clearly very bad when the sound of a maniac girl was screaming, and kids were scattering.​

​

Most everyone was in the boys' dorm, which Elton thought was unlucky for him today because he was never in the boys' dorms. He always fell asleep in the library or music room. How he got to his designated bed that night was an annoying mystery.​

​

While the others were . . . doing whatever they were doing, he knew that the monster-girl was getting closer. He remembered the baseball bats in the room, and so he grabbed one. He looked around some more until he found toy soliders and stared at the floor before the door. It swung in, so he began to quickly set them up in front of the door with their point gun tips pointing upwards while they lay on their backs.​

The next he did was grab some of the coats and rummage through the pockets for anything useful and then found some string.​

​

With a triumphant grin, he set up a line of two coats in front of the door that would fall through when the door opened, covering monster-girl's face. ( Hopefully. )​

◖ ❀ If this doesn't work, I'll be very upset. ◗ he murmured to himself.​

​

The coats would cover her face, she would stumble, and then hurt her feet on the toy soldiers guns, and then he would successfully escape the room with his baseball bat. He quickly fixed the sheets of the bed closest to the door to hide under and then stilled his slightly heavy breathing, clutching the bat close.​

All the sudden, it seemed as if someone turned off all the lights. The monster girl screamed and flailed her arms around, trying to get what ever was off of her. Then she tripped on something and fell to the floor, hard. And on top of that, there were some items on the floor, very hard items, that she landed on. She wailed to the top of her lungs, trashing around as she was in pain. The coat ripped into little shreds and bits of cotton fluff had gone everywhere. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" she shrieked, her eyes wild like an animals. She began trashing around swinging her metal arms at everything that seemed a threat. She caught something at the corner of her eye. Trevor. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" she screamed again and swung hard at the young man​

DAY: 5 - 4/5 ≋ MOOD: Annoyed and terrified, mostly terrified, though ≋ LOCATION: Boys' Room ==> First Floor​

As he watched the nightmarish girl flail about and scream at him, he ran and slid down across the floor out of the door and made a break for the stairs to go down the stairs. "Fuck this noise, I'm out of here!" He stumbled down the stairs to the first floor as fast as he could. There was no way he was going to die. There was no telling what would happen to him if he died in this dream-turned-nightmare.

Elton gave himself a little thumbs up when he found that his little trap had worked, and that he wasn't going to die off in this weird dreamscape that had quickly become a strange nightmare.​

​

With the bat in arms, he scrambled out and admired his work for just a small moment before quickly leaping over the mess of monster-girl and running from the boys' dorm. He didn't feel any sympathy for the others who were still in there as he dashed around the stairs railing, his breathing growing rapid.​

​

He wondered how many would make it out of there. What happened if they died in this dream? A part of him didn't want to find out.​

​

His first direction was the maze of a library, where he quickly found a suitable hiding place behind a few bookshelves, and clutched the bat to himself. Hopefully, he was safe now.​

Hearing the hellish girl call out to her made Lili's skin crawl. She was almost there. The stairs were so close. Oh, so close. And not even a half second later, she felt a sharp pain on the back on her lower legs. She had got both of then. Feeling the blood run down her skin was a horrifying sensation. But since the girl had lunged at her she was now further behind her. This was her chance. Pressing on, Lilica Scott flew around the railing of the stairs. She dashed down the stairs, stumbling and almost falling at times. What an ironic ending that would have been. Finally escaping from a killer, yet dies running down the stairs.

When the girl had at last reach the bottom of the stairs she ran a little ways just to be safe. Then slumped up against a wall and slid the floor, not able to hold herself up with her injured legs. As shs tried to look see exactly where the girl had gotten her , Lili realized that not only had she been hurt, but a part of her dress was torn off when the girl with the metal arms lunged at her. But her dress wasn't..the important thing right now. She was still shaking and it was even worse the before. Why would they have given children this "miracle". Was this their twisted sense of humor? Is this what they wanted?

Lili was traumatized. She had been only inches away from being killed not even five minutes ago. Ignoring the pain and blood from her legs, she brought her them up to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She hoped that at least the other two people, Laurence and Xyloh, had gotten away while being chased, faintly remembering a stair way in the servants quarters. "Please be alright." she breathed at a barely audible volume.

Finally after dropping her head down so her face couldn't be seen, she cried until her chest hurt. Her tears soaked her dress. And her cries, muffled.

She heard footsteps coming down the stairs. Someone else was safe.

The game had ended early...​

The grandfather clock rang the time of the day... 6pm at night... A gradual transition fell over the house, much different from earlier in the day. ​

The lights began to turn on, the warmth of the house was returning, the smell of dinner was in the air... And the killer girl was gone.​

​

It was as if she wasn't there at all.​

​

The twin maids, Calli and Alli were humming in sync with one another, mopping the music room happily. Butler Charles was dusting the picture frames and was about to make his rounds to check on the children. They were all so quiet today... The Chef was singing out of key in French as he cooked, and bawking of chickens could be heard clucking along with him. ​

​

The flowers in the vases had come back to life, but Jonquil was making his way around arranging them. He opened the door to the library and headed in, quietly arranging the flowers.​

Basil was no where to be seen.​

SCREAMS were sounding and people were hiding. Leah had just finished getting dressed and decided to take cover in the girl's room closet. It was a simple solution that seemed to work. All the weirdness ended after a few minutes. Leah stepped out as the whole air of the house seemed to shift.​

She stepped cautiously out into the hall, but no one was shouting. There was nothing going on in the boy's room. Everything seemed fine. Leah looked around in confusion and made her way down the staircase. She found Trevor at the bottom and approached him in confusion. ⌈Bee, do you know what just happened?⌋ She looked back up the staircase, but nothing came down after them. This was strange.​

 

The house was back to normal. All the lights were back on and the staff were doing what the normally did. It was almost as if a girl with metal arms never tried to kill them. Lili had found something to bandage up her legs. Even, thought they still hurt, she could deal with the pain. Making her way to the Living Room, she found a chair and plopped down in it.

She wasn't in any hurry to go back up to the second. Other people would start coming down now that everything was normal. The dream world really sucked. And when she finally got used to it something like that had to happen. It all made her head spin. For the time being she was just going to relax in her chair.

Samantha was still clinging to Mr Bear, still sobbing into his now dampened fur, when the smell of food wafted into the wardrobe. Samantha loved the smell of food, but the sobbing did not stop, nor did the desire to hide. There was no telling why the food was there. She had heard a faint scream a short while ago, who was to say that whatever had been singing hadn't cooked the others? Or was simply trying to trick her into coming out. No, she was staying put, safe in the pile of jackets that had now fallen to the floor of the wardrobe.

Sammy was still worrying slightly, still sobbing quietly as Analise began speaking. She stopped sobbing as she strained to listen to what Analise was saying. The moment she heard Basil mentioned, Sammy decided that it wasn't just a trick by the thing that had been singing. Without a moment's hesitation, Samantha burst out of the wardrobe doors, Mr Bear being carried behind her as her little legs moved furiously to keep up with her. Samantha rushed over to Analise and wrapped her arms around her in a hug, as she buried her face in Analise's side and began sobbing freely now. "Analise..it was so scary...there was creepy singing..about eating children...and then..and then there was a scream..and.." Samantha started, before completely breaking down and sobbing her heart out.

 

DAY: 5 - 5/5 ≋ MOOD: Terrified and confused ≋ LOCATION: First Floor​

The grandfather clock rang out six times as the lights finally turned back on. Did the lights turning on mean that the creepy girl with the spike plate arms was gone now? He had no idea, though he'd prefer it if someone else went to see if it was safe. On the off chance that she was still lurking about, he didn't want to fall victim to her killer hugs. That would be something that he'd much rather leave for the others. At least for now, it seemed that he was safe. He let out a relieved sigh as sweat dripped down his face. His heart was pounding, seemingly ready to leap out of his body. The exhausted teenager squatted down, hands on his knees, as he tried to calm down. What he just saw was definitely not normal, especially for a place that is supposed to be a dream world.

⌈Bee, do you know what just happened?⌋ Trevor jumped a little at the sound of the voice, his composure still shaken. As much as it pained him to see other people, he was quite relieved to see another girl that wasn't some kind of horrifically-modified, walking death-hug machine. A sigh of relief escaped him.

"You, you didn't see that thing that kept saying 'Wanna Hug?' The crazy bitch almost got me!" He said breathlessly. "Lucky you, if you didn't." The shaken teen took a seat on the bottom couple of stairs to better calm down. "I have no idea what's going on, but something is up with this little dream house." He wiped the continuously forming sweat on his sleeve. The feeling that this wouldn't be the only incident slowly ate away at him. That thing was drastically different from everything they had seen before. He didn't want to believe that there were things like that roaming around. The mere thought of it was horrifying. And yet, he had just seen some sort of nightmarish creature that looked like a girl pop up seemingly out of nowhere. This was most likely just the beginning of something more sinister.​

"What seems to be the problem?" Charles popped up behind Trevor and Leah with his feather duster under one arm while looking at the two with curiosity. He could see that Trevor was shaken up but Leah seemed to be calm. "Did something happen?" Butler Charles was quite at awe why the lad seemed so beside himself. This was suppose to be a happy place, not a place of frightened visions coming to life. ​

Basil poked his head out of the spare room. No one seemed to be about. His shoulders slumped with relief and his cat poked his head out of his kimono. Basil looked down at him and smiled just a bit, scratching behind the cat's ears. The cat began to purr and Basil looked around the place. He swore he could hear crying from the girl's room... Suddenly worried about the girls he had talked to previously, Basil hurried over to the door of the place. He almost slipped on something and stopped, looking down. His eyes widened and his face paled. Blood... there was blood on the floor. And he stepped in it. ​

Rubbing his foot on the nearest rug with disgust, Basil then dodged the puddles of blood around him and stopped in front of the girl's room. He saw that the youngest one was crying and that Analise was trying to comfort her. Something bad had happened... No wonder why none of children were out earlier. They were sucked into... Basil shook his head and timidly rapped on the door, looking inside with concern. He stood there with his cat, uncertain if he was allowed to come in.​

TREVOR jumped at the sound of her voice and when he turned to face her, he breathed out a sigh of relief. He looked uneasy, but pleased to know that it wasn't the voice that had been shouting before. ⌈You, you didn't see that thing that kept saying 'Wanna Hug?' The crazy bitch almost got me!⌋ He said breathlessly.​

Leah shook her head.​

⌈Lucky you, if you didn't.⌋ He took a seat at the bottom of the stairs and Leah joined him. ⌈I have no idea what's going on, but something is up with this little dream house.⌋ Trevor wiped at his sweat and she nodded her head slowly.​

⌈Something is very wrong with this house.⌋ she agreed.​

⌈What seems to be the problem?⌋ Butler Man asked; popping up out of nowhere with a feather duster under his arm. ⌈Did something happen?⌋​

Leah scowled up at him. ⌈You --⌋ she pointed up at him, ⌈you know something. There was some strange person threatening everyone's life. And that breakfast the cook made yesterday -- he lied. Chicken isn't red meat.⌋ she told him flatly.​

 

As her mind wandered back to what had occurred earlier that day she wondered what would happen to them if they died here in this dream. Would they just wake up? Or would that also die in real life too?

There was no one else in the room with her. And she was at least partly sure that there weren't that many people on this floor. This whole place confused her. Every time she thought about it only made her more confused. Not to mention that she was almost killed. But then everything was over so fast, going back to normal like it was before. We'll as normal as this place could get.

"Don't listen to a word I say. The screams all sound the same. " Lili quietly sang the words of her favorite song to herself. She was resting in a chair in the living room. It was an old chair, but despite that it wasn't worn and ragged. The look was more antique. " This ship will carry our, bodies safe to shore." Instead of singing the chorus she decided to hum it the rest of it. Singing this song always made her feel better. She wasn't sure why, but it always reminded her of home.

Getting up from the chair, Lili decided she'd might as well get to sleep. She didn't want what had happened to bother her because then she wouldn't be able to think about anything else clearly. Lili stepped out of the living room and quietly moved thought the area where there were. There were two others talking to the butler. She didn't catch any of their conversation as she made her way up the stairs.

When she got to the girls room she found a young boy waiting by the door. She wasn't exactly sure who he was, besides being part of the staff.
