As for the Thanksgiving/Halloween, it doesn't have to be the exact time frame.

Axel just nodded at her, watching her go sit down for a while, before turning to the counter as he laid his elbows on it lazily, putting his head in his hand. The man was now preparing their funnel cakes....naturally, they were made already, and whatnot, but his stomach could not help to be tied in a uncomfortable knot as he saw the final touch of chocolate syrup be placed on his, and he started to become quite nervous as he shifted his position to take the munny out of his empty and broke wallet. He didn't even bother to count, because he knew he didn't have enough. He had to think of something.

"That will be 15 munny."

F^ck, for those damn funnel cakes?! His eyes narrowed in irritation at the rip-off, but he couldn't take them back now after suggesting it, ordering them, and now, waiting for them. He always found himself stuck in these situations because of his pride, yet hell, there was no way he was going to be paid for by a female, when it was the other way around. How courteous of him, to let a lady buy the most expensive dessert that was possible. It was bad enough she had to buy the ice cream. With a sigh as he saw the funnel cakes placed in front of him for the taking, and the worker waiting, he sighed, and gave the little munny he had, hoping he will get a discount in some way. Axel focused on how the man spared a look at it for a literal second, and then turn his hard sight unto him, and he gave a very anxious grin, only to purposefully distract himself by putting his wallet back in the pocket. "Um, you see..."

"It's alright. I'll take what you have."

Axel almost did a barrel roll and died. "W-what?"

The man smiled, and then gave him a knowing wink. "I understand your reasons, we got to stick together, after all. And you appeared like you were about to piss in your pants from your expression."

What a sense of language, Axel sarcastically pondered in his mind, though he didn't say anything, mostly because of the shock that this was actually happening, and because he couldn't ruin the luck he was having right now by his big mouth. No, he will keep the fake befuddlement for this purpose, even as the surprise was starting to fade.

"Take it as a gift from a fellow brother. Besides, you got yourself a pretty one. Not going to make you embarrassed in front of her, now, she seems like a keeper." With this, he picked the funnel cakes, and handed it to him graciously as he smiled. "Take care of her, understand, boy?"

Axel wanted to speak, but he didn't find the words to produce the sentence he had in mind, and so he opened his mouth, only to close it again, and the motion was repeated again, before he just nodded numbly, muttering a grateful thanks to the man as they exchanged formalities, and he turned around to walk away, not believing the ray of light that befell him in his most crucial moment. He smirked to himself in victory. He was about to correct the man before in the way he placed Rei as his girlfriend, but considering that was the main reason he got this chance, he stopped himself from spewing anything that might hurt his almost free funnel cakes. Even so, it felt a bit odd to be referred to as that. It was Larxene that was his, and somehow, they could never enjoy the simple things without having to hide because of their opposing spots in the warring groups...never be seen together. It was quite disheartening, honestly, and he didn't even know what has yet to await him when he came back to school.

Reaching the table proudly, shaking his thoughts away, he sat down in the seat next to her, placing the treats on the table, and giving her a wink as he sighed peacefully, enjoying the cool breeze blowing nad rufflign hsi hair and clothes. "Done. It was funny, actually. When I gave him the full munny I had, as the price said, and which I paid for...I had enough for it, thankfully, he interrupted me to ask about you." He eyed her as he said this, feeling a bit concerned as he was mentioning the fact, but he had to give a reason as to why they were talking, and why the man was staring at her in case of suspicion. Leaning closer, with a smile, he took the ice cream from her hand, slightly making contact, before he pulled back, waving the icy blue popsicle around her face. "Ice cream first. Even with the cool air, it will melt sooner or later."

Cause.....I'm wondering how I never noticed it....and.....well.....this is going to sound weird......but...I think I knew Cloud.....but I'm not sure when.....or where....and....what's even weirder is that I just met a girl named Tifa today, but she said that we were friends and for some reason I didn't remember her....until I mulled it over for about 10 minutes. *sigh*....I can't believe I forgot about a friend. My memory must be worse than normal." Angel spilled this onto Yuffie. She supposed that Yuffie was now her unofficial psychiatrist.

Kasha picked up her head, watching a squirrel climb down a tree, it stopped and looked at her, "Keep moving, buddy." Kasha barked at the squirrel but it came out as more of a whine/bark. A whiny-bark. Whatever, it was the squirrel got the message and ran down the tree. Kasha looked up through the leaves on the tree, they were wilting, changing colour. She loved fall, the colours of the trees always amused her in some way.

OoC://Sorry, about shortness, oh my gee the kid that I was referring too that was like Roy left for Spain today D: Okay, so I wasn't sad. It made me thing of my friend who left for Korea. She invited me to go to Korea with her for a little while but me being American and all, I knew it would be a No either way.
Anyway, we were like "Let's carry him to the airport!" And then the teacher sent us back to our class and we were all like "D:"

Rei had noticed the two of them talking at the counter, but had thought little of it until Axel mentioned something. "Oh?" She felt his fingertips brush against her hand as he retrieved his icy treat, feeling the warmth of his touch. "Care to divulge?" Rei took a small bite of her ice cream, the salty taste reaching her tasebuds subtly before the sweetness of it proceeded.

 

So....can I play Roxas?

As he tasted the salty surface, and felt it melt away to a sweet flavor, he pondered on whether to "divulge" the fact of the matter and the topic of why he got almost free funnel cakes. With all the stuff that happened today, leaving him exhausted, mentally and emotionally, he didn't want to start anything again by saying and revealing something that they are attempting to work out....in that, being friends. More her than him, and he...didn't want to give false hope anymore. He couldn't do that to her, not now, and not as it was laid in the air. She's already been through enough, and mentioning that a guy thought they were together romantically...

Shaking his head as he took another piece of the treat, he made a dismissing wave, "Forget it. Is nothing important."

 

I be tired of watching this sleep.

BIC- Angel pondered about her light purple haired knight. Wait....no...he'd be more of a scholar. She wondred if she would ever be able to see him again, but this dreamy daydream was soon dashed by her usual low self-esteem mental remarks. He probably thinks of me as a dumb@** and a stupid naive girl who doesn't use makeup and is more of a half tomboy obsessed with video games and more like a female otaku. TT_TT....why me?

Rei caught a glimpse of Axel's aura as she looked back up at him. The hues changed drastically as he contemplated a reply, moving back and forth between two sides of a silent argument, it seemed. She heard him wave it off, and she thought it best not to pry. If what the clerk said gave him that much trouble, then it probably wasn't worth the trouble. "Okay," Rei said nonchalantly, smiling. She took another bite of her ice cream and tasted the salty-sweetness of its flavor. "Well, I've got an idea." Rei crossed her legs and became comfortable in her seat. "Feel like asking each other random questions? Something like... 'What's your favorite chinese dish?'."
