star wars movie marathon. EP1 HERE WE GO
i think its kinda cute. in an obvious, "wow, he's so terrible at hiding it" sort of way.
yeah if ygopro is actually good and works *perfectly* then i would rather player with people there (we should all play there instead if it does) but part of what i like about dn is that its like actually playing the game irl, so if pro doesn't do what it claims flawlessly i wont even bother. btw you should duel me
beautiful
games over. still up to play?
gg i had fun. if you ever want to play again just let me know
my name on there is skull joke i dont know how you start a match though im on right now if you want to play
do you have an account?
so i started on dueling network a min ago if you ever want to play just lmk. always down to play ygo. unless im busy (please play with me)
somebody play with me. pls. i've only played once so far and the guy quit 2 turns in. would really appreciate if someone would play so i could bounce some questions off you as i'm playing. want to get good at this. having played once its not quite the same as tag force. and i just brought my deck from tagforce over. modified to comply with ban lists and ****
so its basically a given by now that i make these right? right. as usual im not going to say much and am just giving an initial impression It was a lot better than I was expecting. My main concern going in was that it was trying to do too much, and while I think it did suffer from this some, overall it juggled all of its subplots fairly well. Spoiler My biggest point of contention (and by big i mean huge) is that it's not enough about Harry and Peter and gives far too much attention to Electro. This film is clearly setup (and good setup) for future installments in this franchise, but this is not something I would have truncated, and because of what it is it deserves to be the focus. Obviously they're going to revisit this character, but the establishment was pretty weak considering. They just touched on his relationship with his father and in this continuity his relationship with Peter feels like an afterthought. All-in-all it's not terrible but it feels rushed for an origin. I suppose it could be fleshed out in future films but since the character has reached a status-quo and we saw him get there, there's not much they could retroactively do to make the origin seem less abbreviated. Yeah, they could add backstory for Harry's father relationship and friendship with Peter, but since we've already seen them it wouldn't be that effective. I could say more but I don't feel like it atm. may come back and edit it in or just respond to people as they say stuff i want to address.
okay i haven't heard of this but i would love to play ygo but not now because im about to leave. would gladly play with you some other time though.
okay. i'm super nervous about this movie. i thought the first one was on par with S2 for the best SM film, and so of course I was excited for this one. however everything I've heard/seen/read about the production after the initial announcements I haven't liked. to me it seems like the cast is way too big and they're trying to do WAY too much. of course I don't know anything about the film itself so it could surprise me. i hope it surprises me. and since I know you've already seen it I'm probably not going to read what you have to say since I'm about to leave to go see it lol. also these are not in the MCU continuity. even if I like it more than IM3, IM3 would still be the top MCU film for me.
Iron Man 3 came out. And today ASM2 comes out. (in the states) gotta say seeing both exactly a year apart on their release dates is p. sweet Time flies. I wonder if a year later many people down on 3 and its twist have come around, or if they're still unhappy. I for one love IM3. It's one of my favorite films. Everything about it, having read a handful of the source material (notably some of Fraction's run on Invincible), is exactly what I want from an Iron Man film, particularly the tone. Easily my favorite MCU movie. well. maybe not easily after Winter Soldier but still my favorite. /endtribute
that's rough. i would have put my stuff somewhere and come back later. I have the same thing with Hacktivist. My shop only ever stocked 2 of each issue and I was talking to my shop's owner and he was telling me how I was the only person he knew who read it, and that the one other guy reading it dropped it after the first issue. And that's a shame because it's really good. Also he was telling me how the writer for Batgirl #30 is apparently from Richmond (where I live) and was at one of the stores signing copies. Wish I had been there for that.
so the may the 4th sale and free comicbook day gave me some p. cool stuff but of course sales and *free* attract all kinds of people who don't normally shop there and since the store is a hole in the wall it was so crowded. i cant shop in crowded areas. so i went back to my car, planned what i was going to buy, and then ran in and got the stuff and payed and ran out.
ey you should check this out http://kh-vids.net/threads/hacktivist.145781/ i think it's something you would like. and knowing you're trying to...
View attachment 38253 http://www.archaia.com/archaia-titles/hacktivist/ I finished this miniseries today and was left speechless. It takes advantage of the medium in ways rarely seen and is expertly crafted in every facet of comicbook storytelling, most notably the plotting and visual components. Not only is it wonderfully penciled, inked, and colored, but the panel/page layout is something to be appreciated on its own. Of course the narrative is exceptional as well, but when reading I constantly found myself stopping to admire the art. It is a wonderfully cerebral and beautifully visualized series that demands multiple reads. This is a must-read, not just for people interested in comics, but for anyone interested in fiction.
