I finished this miniseries today and was left speechless. It takes advantage of the medium in ways rarely seen and is expertly crafted in every facet of comicbook storytelling, most notably the plotting and visual components. Not only is it wonderfully penciled, inked, and colored, but the panel/page layout is something to be appreciated on its own. Of course the narrative is exceptional as well, but when reading I constantly found myself stopping to admire the art. It is a wonderfully cerebral and beautifully visualized series that demands multiple reads. This is a must-read, not just for people interested in comics, but for anyone interested in fiction.
