After having finished her first round, Lucia was pumping herself up for the next round. As she was keeping herself warm and ready for the fight, she walked out as the second rounds had started. When she looked at her opponent, she immediately got some sort of extremely off feeling. The person before her didn't seem to be overwhelmingly imposing in terms of any sort of strength, but she just got this really bad vibe from him. She had a slight feeling that this was probably her worst matchup that she could possibly have, but she was just going to go with the hand she was dealt and fight at mach speed and stuff. Getting her knives ready, she took off as fast as she could go using Poison Edge on Aias. With very short time in between her matches, Charlotte was already ready for her next fight. Having dealt a finishing blow to Thomas, she was already pit against her next opponent. A person with blue hair who wielded a curious weapon, one that she recognized to a certain extent. Regardless, she didn't seem like an overly imposing foe, though Charlotte couldn't let her guard down just yet. So, she had her blade at the ready as her opponent seemed to also get ready to attack. The two of them, once signaled that they could fight, went at it by using fairly similar moves. Charlotte, cloaked in lightning and Aoki cloaked in fire, the two charged towards each other and struck the other one, with Aoki being being just a bit faster than Charlotte. Aoki used Fire Dash and Charlotte used Thunder Surge.
Charlotte and Thomas had managed to exchange blows, both striking with the same attack and hitting with the same amount of force. She had felt still healthy, and as if she could continue the fighting on for hours, her opponent, however, did not. Looking at Thomas, it appeared as though he were on his last legs, and thus attacking him as she had been thus far could do serious damage to him. Sheathing her blade, Charlotte cracked her knuckles as a smile crossed her face. "You have fought well, Thomas, and thus duel of ours has been enjoyable. However, there can only be one winner among us, and the king to claim victory in this round shall be I!" With that, Charlotte charged at Thomas and used a basic attack with her bare fist.
As Rho charged at the boy, something seemed to change about him. He definitely seemed like he was about to attack him with a fierce attack. Of course, Rho didn't want any part of that, and so he put as much force behind his blade as he possibly could at the moment of his slash. It happened in one swift and clean motion. His sword had slashed through the boy and he had emerged victorious, flawlessly. After the crowd had applauded at his performance, Rho simply sheathed his blade and walked back to his seat. As he did, it would seem that he would not be the only of the people here to perform such a feat. The girl who seemed to try and be an idol had managed to pulverize a smaller girl with her key-like weapon, and then there was the purple haired one who had managed to out do either of them. She seemed to be a bit worried about her opponent, though it seemed that Johanna had calmed her down by stating that Skadi wasn't dead. Once the worry subsided, the purple haired girl seemed to do a bit of a leap of joy and then walked off triumphantly towards the winner's seats. Then there was his more avian counterpart, who he could see what was going on little more than bullying with one of the weaker members of the guild. As the two walked over he simply gave a wave as he said, "good job on your win, both of you." The fight between Aoki and Malkira had seemed to heat up a bit, as the two forces collided. She winced in pain as his axe blade had swiped across her twice, though she had managed to stay in against it and kept her balance. Tightening the grip on her keyblade, she decided to see if she could copy the attack that Malkira had just used on her. Striking forward, Aoki used Wishing Edge. After being cloaked in flames, Charlotte had finished her charge against Thomas only to see the boy was still standing. She smiled as this fight had been proving to be a fun clash of teammates. It was then that Thomas charged at Charlotte with a sliding dash, and so she responded in kind, attack with her own sliding dash.
Getting herself psyched up, Lucia was sort of jumping around in place as she was awaiting her match to start. Man, how long had it been since she had done anything at all. After just standing there like a potato at the end of her mission to get the hand of midas till now, it had felt like it had been months since she had been any kind of relevant. But here it was, now was the time. Here she would fight for honor, for glory, for the chance to get magic, and mostly because...well it was a tradition or something amongst the people of this place. So she would take part in this ceremony of beating the shit out of each other with the same fervor that would be applied towards completing a mission. Giving a short salute to her opponent she said, "good luck to you, and let's have fun." Drawing out her knives, Lucia took off as fast as she could charging at Skadi and using Strike Raid in the process. Aoki too, had not done anything worth note for quite the while and was now in a tournament. Man, there seemed to be a trend amongst these people, but that was completely irrelevant. What was relevant was that there was a giant hulking stone statue before her that was her opponent. Feeling a bit intimidated by his presence, Aoki was a bit nervous to say much of anything, though she eventually managed to find her words. "Ma-malkira was it? Let's uh, let's do our best here." Drawing out her keyblade, she was a bit cautious at first, but realized the only way to win was to just get over it. So, she did just that. And in doing that, charged at Malkira with a good old Fire Dash. It really had been months since he had done anything of note. Cracking his knuckles, Rho looked towards his opponent. This was quite the change of scenery. One moment he had been at a bar with his comrade, mirroring the exact same thing he had been doing, and the next moment he was here. At this place. In this tournament. Time skips sure were a funny thing, though, it wasn't as if it was the fault of those. Regardless, he drew his blade and looked towards Damian. "Well, as it would appear we are opponents. Now I am but a sword without a shield, and you are but a staff made of glass." With a smirk on his face, the air about Rho seemed to grow more serious as he got into a stance ready to attack. "So I doubt this match will last long either way." Taking off, he charged at his opponent with a sliding dash. After closing the distance between them and just before he made his slash he said, "may the stronger of us win." Charlotte stood at the ready. She had an intense expression on her face, still concerned with everything that had happened with Mikasa, Dale, all of it. Before the trial she had known that whatever outcome had come of it, she would not be satisfied. The fact that it had happened in the first place was enough to completely sour her mood, and the fact that these people who were supposedly like family would harm each other to the extent that they had. She had been right, of course, as she was still annoyed over the whole incident, but that was neither here nor there. All that had mattered now was the fight. And so, she cleared her head of anything but that to look at her opponent. Seeing the man before her was none other than Thomas, she drew her blade to get ready for the brawl that would ensue. "Thomas, no matter how much of a lech you may appear to be and how much you may be put down, you are still a member of our team. And as such, I believe you to still posses a strength that will allow this to be a worthy duel for both of us. So come, let us see which of us kings will conquer this round." He of course, had been quicker on the draw and had rain lightning down on her. Bracing herself against the attack, she the quickly followed it up by charging at him in a cloak of fire. Using her fire surge, she rammed full tilt into the boy as her first move.

Following the fight against the goblin king, Jackyl had seen to becoming quite the successful player. She had fully immersed herself in the world of Summon Arc and was enjoying herself far more than she had in any other game. Sure, it was a real struggle for survival, but she just considered it more of a hardcore gaming experience than anything else. As the game had continued to go on, many a faction had started to sprout into existence. The guilds had started to come in full force, establishing some semblance of order in this game, and becoming the primary forces in taking on the task of clearing the game. Jackyl, however, had been among those who had opted out of being in a guild. It was not as though she had a problem with working with people, oh no, quite the opposite. She had always been willing to cooperate with others, and in fact could often times be seen among all of the guild during any major raid or either of the boss fights that they had been through over the past six months. She even made it a point to go and make friends with all different kinds of peoples and make herself quite reliable player for others, she partied often with others when it was possible, and worked with shopkeepers to get them materials they needed. She just hadn't really ever felt like joining a guild as she enjoyed not belonging to a specific organization, being her own free person and doing whatever it was she felt like doing. As things were now, she had continued on her journey of doing nothing special in particular, getting herself up to a level that was on par with the highest level of people, keeping her gear well updated and current, changing her eye color through some magic of inconsistency in stock images, and just overall doing odd jobs. She still had her weapon upgrade potion in her inventory, but now so it was due to her liking the feel of her swords rather than just pure negligence. And so, to keep her on par with everyone else, making friends with blacksmiths was, without a doubt, a must. And so she had decided to journey along with the blacksmith, Star, and aid her in her quest to get better armor in the Spider's Nest. Patting the blacksmith on the back she said, "so intrepid crafter, you got any good info on where these monsters are chilling out at?"
As Charlotte had stood steady as a rock with her barrier surge up, she couldn't help but feel the immense pressure behind the attack. She had defended against many an attack before, but none felt quite as strong and intense as this. Thankfully, she had the almighty absolute defense of barrier surge to take the entirety of the attack for both her and her S-Class teammate, and then responded against Mikasa in kind. Surely even she could not handle the continued onslaught from a fellow S-Class and, even if much weaker, guildmates of hers. Charlotte used Fire Surge.
As the fight continued it became ever more apparent how weak that Charlotte was in comparison to her opponent. Between the two dragon slayers, Mikasa and Gexln, it was nearly impossible to feel somewhat helpless as the two continued to display their powers at their fullest. Despite this clear difference in strength, though, she could not falter before her opponent. Mikasa may have been in the higher ranks of the guild, but Charlotte could still never abide by her threatening, or even harming, a trusted guild member for her own sadistic purposes. As such, with a shining aura around her body, Charlotte slammed into Mikasa with a barrier surge, only to jump in front and block for Gexln, stating, "even if he cannot take you alone, you cannot take all of us at once."
Something something blah traitor blah Mikasa bitch blah how could you blah blah blah third in command my blah blah blah and then from the sky a giant hamster blah blah blah sky laser blah blah blah didn't actually happen blah blah blah Charlotte used blah and by blah I mean Fire Surge and then blah blah blah and by blah blah blah I mean block for Veilen.
As the whole journey through the portal had taken place, Stratos had an uncertain amount of time to think about things. What things? Well, everything really. He could really take an introspective look into himself, take a retrospective look at the entirety of his journey, maybe even go into some analysis of the bonds he had forged with people over the course of his life time. Yes, as he was spiraling through this void like hyper space, there were a good deal of things that he could indeed think about. While there was an infinite amount of possibilties as to what his thoughts could be on, there was only a finite amount of time in which he could be thinking about these things. And so among those infinite things he could choose from, the thought that crossed his mind was, "where am-" though sadly the finite amount of time given to him did not allow him to even finish such a thought before he was spit out of the infinitely expansive void that seemed to defy all logical explanation. Being ejected from the portal, Startos ended up tumbling backward and landing with his back and legs pressed up against a nearby wall. "Ow," he let out a small expression of pain. Opening his eyes, Stratos noticed something curious about the room. It seemed to be well furnished enough, but the inhabitants of it were two rabbits and, more importantly, two familiar looking faces. It was also upside down. Trying to life his head up, Stratos realized that he was instead pressing it against the floor, and that the upside down aspect of it was no fault of the room. Sliding off the wall, he went to go roll onto his stomach instead of his back, and looked at the group giving a short wave. "Glad to see that me and her," noticing Cailyn wasn't here yet he appended it saying, "whenever she gets here, aren't the only keyblade wielders that are still in this wasteland."
Alright, now I know I haven't made a post as Charlotte in a while...well really, I haven't made a post as anyone recently. So I guess I'll be posting as myself, saying that I am now posting as Charlotte and putting the utmost amount of effort in said post. It will be as follows: Something something foul being Mikasa, something something Justice, something something attack! Barrier surge with body blocking for Gexln. Yeah. And that was the post in its entirety. Have a good day.
Fist pumping into the air, Jackyl was absolutely stoked with the results of the fight. After she had helped delivered the finishing blow onto the large goblin king boss monster guy dude, she couldn't help but contain her excitement. "Wahooooo!" she had exclaimed ecstatically, as she looked to see Astolfo take a small path of flight through the air, diving towards her and passing right by. As he passed her, the two gave each other a high five and Astolfo had dismissed himself afterwards, the fight having been completed and their purpose being fulfilled for the time being. Giving a thumbs up to each and everybody here, Jackyl had decided that it was probably a good idea to go back to town and get herself some rest, especially because the goblins were respawining now. Given that she was about level 7 now, and these goblins were way out of her level range, fighting them was only going to be a waste of time and only really exhaust her. So, going back to town seemed like the perfect thing to do at the moment. Giving a wave to Lu, as he had been a good party member to get through this dungeon and required a proper farewell gesture, she left the goblin camp and went on her way back to the main town.
Stratos was left a bit dumbfounded at the whole scenario. Knowing that it was impossible to fight these sort of inkblot creatures, Stratos had chosen the option of running away from them. However, he had only truly learned this by having actually tested out combat on them. Within that time frame, they had managed to close the distance between the group, which had caused them to be in quite the precarious position. Not really sure how to react to this turn of events, Stratos was content with continuing to run, even if ineffectual, only to see Luna stepping up and throwing herself to them. Catching the charm of hers while she set up a giant ice wall to impede the ink blots path, Stratos had just stared wide eyed at what had happened, not entirely sure what to do in response. He felt an urge to go back there and try to help her out of the ink monster mess, however, realizing the futlity of the idea almost instantly and being told by Gus to get going through the projector snapped him out of it. "Come on, we don't have time to lose anymore," he had said to his other keyblade wielding party member as he walked into the projector.

The entire situation with the sheep king who was hellbent on destroying the entire party was odd to say the least. However, Mikasa's entrance from seemingly nowhere and scathing remarks at the party was possibly even more so. She hadn't the faintest idea what Mikasa had fought, why she was even here in the first place and talked about how they were all stupid for walking into a very obvious trap, that Charlotte could only infer as them being ambushed by a vengeful king of wool covered animals. She hardly saw how it was obvious that that would happen but didn't mind that as much as how much she was belittling another S-Class member, as if she were on a far superior level to him. As she left, Ra had made the inference that Dale had been leading them into a trap, but, with as much sense as that might make, she was still slightly wary to trust such speculation as Dale had proven himself a trusted comrade. As the group continued onward, they eventually ran into Mikasa and Dale having some sort of altercation, and seeing as Dale had struck her with his ice magic she was starting to wonder what was truly going on here. Though the only thing worth hearing that she heard from this altercation was that Mikasa had planned on murdering Johanna. Charlotte hadn't known Johanna too well herself, but she knew that she was a comrade who seemed to always be friendly towards others. Even joking of murdering such a comrade was unacceptable, and it was frankly off putting that the S-Classes, the role models of all other guild members, was intent on murdering someone for no discernible reason that she could find. Charlotte hadn't the faintest of inklings as to what Dale's accusation of Ra's conversational mannerism were about; it was perfectly understandable to one such as herself. But as Dale had all but admitted to betraying them and leading them into a trap, and he himself was prone to violent outbursts himself, she took his own opinion regarding to others with a grain of salt. With that all said and done, she nodded at Dale going off to the guild and said, "if Mikasa wishes to make herself the witch of the guild, then let us begin our witch hunt." With that, she followed after him.
As Jackly was getting ready to go and do more of her fighting things, it seemed that Edgemeister had taken note of her greeting. Also, apparently his name wasn't Edgemeister and was actually Lucas. Well it was nice of him to introduce himself again, but she had no idea why he'd just go by the name of Edgemeister when he had a perfectly normal one to begin with. Some people were all kinds of weird sometimes. Regardless, the goblin king seemed to be taking quite the beating here as it seemed that he only had one health bar left. However, it then totally cheated. Like, what game monster uses player mechanics? Late game ones, that's what. And this was a first boss. She'd definitely have to complain to management about this. Wondering just who management was, Jackyl then decided that it wasn't no thang at the end of the day, and that the only thing that really changed here was that there was another thing for the entire group to kill. Looking towards Astolfo, she said, "yo Astolfo, go make sure that guy's summon has a bad day. Like the kind you get when you realize you overslept and had a test that day so you run in as fast as you can only to realize that you have 10 minutes left to take your final exam on things you totally knew but you have no time to do any of it so you just end up bombing it and then your entire final grade suffers a lot because of it!" With a slightly confused nod, Astolfo went off to go and strike at the goblin king's summon with his lance. Jackyl spun her still magically charged blades as she turned around to Lucas. "Alright Lu, let's go kill us a boss!" With that, Jackyl sprinted forwards at the boss and leaped into the air. With both of her blades by her side, she struck them out, having them slice along anything they touched as the momentum kept her going forward.
Stratos frowned a bit as the gremlin had told him that he had no idea where his friends were. Ah well, he couldn't just expect situations to easily resolve themselves right now. All it meant was that the group was going to have to do a bit more exploring or something in order to find everyone. He then was curious at the next piece of info that they were told. Being turned into ink hardly sounded like an enjoyable experience, but, a person had to do what they had to do. He was kind of curious what it entailed, especially if it could help him help others in this world, but he didn't really get the chance to ask. As more inkblots seemed to come out of nowhere in particular, Stratos looked at them with caution. He wasn't too keen on fighting an invincible foe, though he decided to go and check for himself. Looking to the others he said, "stand back and don't hit these things. If this backfires on me, it's better that it's only me." With keyblade in hand, he pointed it at the inkblot and cast fire from the keyblade, launching a ball of fire that exploded on contact with the ink, it seemed to have zero effect, just like what was expected. Or rather, the only effect that it had was making the inkblot turn it's attention to Stratos. Turning back to the two girls he said, "alright let's just run." With that, Stratos tried to get the **** away from the whole impossible fight.
Charlotte did Charlotte things. Like Fire. And Surging. And combining the two into a fire surge. It's revolutionary I tell you. This was a revolutionary attack directed at Sheeptard. The friend blocking was directed at Gaius.
After having defeated the goblins and saying her goodbyes to Lucas, Jackyl decided to check the loot that she had acquired from the goblins. As she opened her inventory, she saw that there was a weapon evolution potion, just sitting there. Well, that seemed important, and was probably worth using. So, she'd go and use it right now- wait a second. There was something that she had definitely not seen earlier right underneath it. Looking at the item, it seemed to be called <<Summon's Promise>> and was an accessory of some sort. Pulling it out of her inventory, Jackyl put that ring right on her finger, and looked as it seemed to slip right on her finger. Man was this an awesome new accessory. Realizing she still had her menu open, she was wondering why it was still open, since she couldn't think of anything that she needed to take of, and thus closed it. It was at that point that the entire feel of the area that she was in seemed to change. Mist covered the skies and walls seemed to rise, creating a barricade that barred all entrance and exit from the encampment. Looking forward, she saw that there was a large goblin who seemed to spawn out of nowhere, and was most notably labeled as a king. Which could only mean that he was the boss of this area. Well damn, if she knew anything about MMOs, then it was very likely that this was a field boss, and boy, were field bosses tough customers to deal with. However, given that this was basically the only place people could feasibly train in right now, it was very likely that there was a large assortment of players already here fighting the creature. So, Jackyl had nothing to fear in fighting it, other than not actually getting to fight it, as she was such a large distance from it currently. Gah, thinking on her own wouldn't solve this problem, and so she needed the aid of someone who knew just how to handle battles. With a flash of light, the knight had appeared before his master once again, he had readied his spear at once, only to notice that there were no enemies in the immediate area. With a curious look on his face and relaxing his grip on the spear, he turned to his master and said, "m'lady, with the seemingly purged goblin encampment, to what end have I been summoned again." Jackyl directed his attention towards the large goblin a ways away from them. As Astolfo seemed to recognize the threat it posed, Jackyl went on to explain what she needed. "I need your help to fight that boss. Like, you're a super awesome knight, right? So what kind of knightly plans do you have to fight it?" Astolfo had seemed to be pensive for a short before gaining a stern gaze in the direction of the goblin king. With a snap of his fingers, from essentially nowhere, a half bird half horse thing just sort of appeared and flew down to land softly on the ground next to Astolfo. Pointing the the now summoned mount, he said, "m'lady, we will use my trusty steed, the hippogriff to approach the repulsive creature," keeping a serious tone of voice and an equally resolute expression on his face, he said, "we charge the monster with reckless abandon and strike it with all the strength and fury we have, putting the fear of God in it and delivering a might and just blow purging it from this very plain of existence!" As Jackyl listened to this plan, her expression became shocked as she reeled back in response to her knight's daring plan of attack. Stammering a bit in trying to form a coherent statement against the plan. "Bu-but Astolfo! A careless plan like this, how do you know it'll work?" Astolfo closed his eyes as he gave a smug "hmph," noise as it to notify her that she was not putting the faith in him that he clearly warranted. Opening his eyes with an intense look directed at Jackyl, in a tone that was of absolute fact rather than optimistic opinion, he had simply said, "because it will." Jackyl reeled back in shock once more, before closing her eyes and clenching her fist in raw disappointment at no one other than herself as tears formed in her eyes. Looking back up to her glorious knight in shining armor, with a tone that was begging for the grace of his forgiveness she said, "I'm sorry Astolfo! It wasn't right of me to doubt your flawless plan, and so, I feel unworthy of being your master." In response to this, Astolfo had put a reassuring hand on the shoulder of the distraught Jackyl. As she looked him in the face, it was not one of disdain nor anger, but rather one that was bright and cheery. "It is fine young Master Jackal, for you see very few can match the sheer wit and cunning when it comes to military strategy that I, the great Astolfo, have." As if to further reassure her he said, "and even fewer have the ability to match such grace and wonder that I posses; but you, the growing youth of tomorrow, have been able to see it with such clarity that I believe you are a partner worthy of my use as your summon. Now then, let us ride onward to battle." And so they did, mounting upon the legendary hippogriff and taking to the skies towards the boss. Whilst in the air, the rider of the duo had turned to his passenger and asked, "now, I do not recall seeing you use it whilst dealing with the lesser gremlins, but you are aware that you are able to use magic?" Thinking on it for a moment, Jackyl had remembered such a thing existing during character creation. If what she thought was correct then it had something to do with race, and she had almost completely forgot race was a thing as it was. Looking in her menu, she went to go check out what she had, only to see that they were pretty underwhelming spells as things stood. "Lame," she grumbled to herself. Well, at least it was better than nothing. So, loosening her grip on the flying mount, Jackyl drew out both of her longsword. Directing to one of them she said, "en flare," causing it to gain a redish hue in it as it burst into flames. Following this up she directed towards another saying, "en vapor," causing the other blade to take on a blueish hue as it was soaked in water. As the hippogriff closed in on the boss monster, Jackyl stood up and said, "alright, I'm going in!" As she jumped off of the back of Astolfo's mount, the summon saluted his master yelling out to her, "bonne chance mon maitre!" As Jackyl closed in on the beast, she struck out both of her element imbued blades at once, striking with a good deal of force behind them as they raked across the armor and flesh of the goblin king. As she landed, with a slight jolt in her legs from the height of the fall, she looked around and saw a familiar face. "Oh hey Edge," she called out, "cool to see you're still around." Being none too pleased at the attack, the Goblin King turned to face Jackyl, raising its blade in defiance towards her. While she had time to dodge, it wouldn't be a complete one and the attack would hurt. However, as she started to leap backwards, the hippogriff rider had flown to the backside of the goblin king, doing a fly by with his spear, striking once within range. The mere touch of the spear caused the beast to be temporarily staggered, thus cancelling its attack. As Jackyl was now in relative safety, she looked around and saw that there was a good deal of people still here and still willing to fight it, and thus, the creature would fall in no time.
Stratos had a bit of a pensive look on his face as started to think on what Gus had said. Not only had they been sent to what was essentially the garbage can world, but there was also a much larger and underlying issue with how they had been sent there. Not to mention, there was apparently someone else with a keyblade by the name of Oswald who was able to fight these dark blob things, where as their own would not be able to. While Cailyn started rambling about a fairy tale that he was unfamiliar with, Stratos asked Gus, "so, would there be any way for us to empower our keyblades to fight these sort of blots?" Thinking on it harder, his face lit up as he then had a sudden realization dawn upon him. "Also, you said we were 'a few' of the visitors that dropped into here. Does that mean you know where the other people who fell in here are?"
