And the village couldn't keep quiet, you know how rumors travel, soon three other villages had villagers clamoring secretly to break the mold. Until finally, those with enough heart gathered enough courage to follow after Kamina. To the surface or die trying! To find adventure! To find something more! To see if there even is a surface! To pierce the Heavens! ...Yeah, so basically, you're either a villager who decided enough is enough, or one of the Beastmen serving Lord Genome. If you're a villager, you rebel, break out of your...village, and make it to the surface, where you will battle Beastmen, etc in order to survive/defeat Lord Genome and yaddayadda. If you are a Beastman, or any other bad guy, your goal is to fight back, protect your base, try to destroy the humans, all that good stuff. You don't have to know anything about Gurren Lagann to join. In fact, Fuzzy and I have yet to finish the series, so we're keeping this rather simple. If you want to play a character that really exists in the series, that's fine, just make sure you explain why they're there. Glowing light blue moss is what covers and lights most of the halls. Which are really the homes and walls that make a gigantic maze. This village is ruled by a monarchy, with the king at the center of this maze of mixed together walls and homes. A lake of phosphorescent green fish illuminate the front lawn of the king's home. The people of this village trade their accessory's made from the glowing materials around them for anything the village itself can't provide, since glowing material goods has grown in popularity over the years. Bunkanl The closest to the surface and the only village with a known pre made stairway to the surface. The citizens of this village have the best technology of the century their ancestors decided to live underground. In that respect, they have no contact with the dangers of the outside. Shock-absorber technology keeps the Ganmen made earthquakes at bay to the point of the villagers not even knowing about them. When the human race was forced underground, their ancestor's were well prepared in securing their future and their children's children future. So think of this village as a resort, of the three, it has the highest population, and it is the biggest. The structure is simple, water is only source of liquid and the food supply is selected from a touch-screen menu in the cafeteria. The village is lazy and peaceful, though the chief has always had a crew set aside to be the peacekeepers around the place. The doorway that leads to the stairs to the heaven's not even heavily guarded, just old, hidden, and forgotten. Volcana The residents of this village are set very near a dormant volcano. These people descended from a slightly larger, more primitive above ground village. Over the centuries these humans have toughened up. More muscularly fit then the other village's, increased stamina and endurance. Tanner skin and weaponry made from dried magma. Dried magma is manipulated well in this village, and thus that is their major source of trading. In this village, the chief choose who's next to take his place, so bribery and favoritism and of course jealousy is high in this village. There is a water source in this village. Two miles away there's an underground cavern shared by member's of other volcanic villages. Bad things happen here, so most people come in groups of twos and threes. Gunman! The mecha fighter's that a randomly chosen few will receive if you're a human. If you are a beastman. You will automatically receive one. If it is destroyed, it will be replaced. If you're a human, you need purpose! Or a fighting spirit to pilot a Gunman. Beastmen only need to hop inside one, for they power it through the solar batteries used in every Gunman. Depending upon however many humans there are, that is how many Gunmen we will dish out. Not every human will get a Gunman. Meaninnnnng, the more humans we have, the more Gunmen the humans will get, but there will never be a Gunman for every human. For the humans that randomly get their Gunmen, me and Jayn will decide how you will get it, and when through PM to keep the roleplay moving. If you're a ****** human but you're randomly chosen, sorry good, kind-hearted humans, you're just not lucky enough. Some of you humans also don't get to choose what weaponry their Gunmen will have originally, as the story progress, there will be upgrades or complete weapon removal and then the installation of a new, CHOSEN weapon. If you do not like this system, Q.Q somewhere else, nancy. This is to prevent "GANMEN TRANSFORMATION SPAM POWER ON!" and other godmoddery. Also, it would be weird for everyone to have one. This is all randomized and stuff, for the sake of fairness. Beastmen are the primary antagonists of the first half of Gurren-Lagann. They are a blend of human and animal DNA, varying greatly in appearance; some are almost completely humanoid, while others are entirely inhuman-looking. These hybrids served Lord Genome, their creator. They cannot produce Spiral Energy (the energy human's possess naturally that allows them to pilot Gunmen), so solar powered batteries are installed into every Gunmen and thus Beastmen are allowed to pilot Gunmen, unfortunately, only during the day. They also cannot reproduce and need coma-like sleep to stop from cell degeneration, unless they have an immortal body like the one given to Viral. Due to their inability to produce spiral power, they pilot Gunmen by using solar powered batteries, which prevents them from operating at night. The incident traumatized him and gave him a phobia for earthquakes. Simon then devoted his entire existence to his job, earning him the scorn from his peers. Only Kamina, the local gang leader and juvenile delinquent, reached out to Simon. Kamina "recruited" Simon into "Team Gurren" by dragging him along on outrageous schemes to escape Jeeha Village to the surface, which Kamina claimed he had visited as a young boy. Though Simon was an outcast, he would always feel more comfortable around Kamina. In one instance, Kamina and the other members were trapped in a small hole caused by an earthquake; everyone was scared, but Kamina's pep talks to Simon motivated the digger to drill a tunnel out of the barricade. After this incident, Kamina and Simon grew so close that they could have been called brothers. One day, during digging of a new tunnel, Simon discovers a small drill-shaped object that periodically glows, an item known as the Core Drill. On the same day, he unearths a large "face" in the ground, and shows it to Yoko and Kamina after Jeeha Village is attacked by a large Gunmen. The face is revealed to be a miniature Gunmen, and the Core Drill Simon dug up is the key to starting it. With the aid of this mech, which Kamina names the "Lagann", Simon destroys the large Gunmen attacking Jeeha and rises to the surface world. After helping Kamina capture his own Mecha 'Gurren' and being the driving force behind Team Gurren as they merged their mecha's together to become the now legendary Gurren Lagann, Team Gurren made a big name for themselves in the rebellion. Kamina however is the one who always inspires him and allows Simon to show his true power and personality. ☆ ➟ Bio; Spoiler: bio Simon was born in Jeeha Village, one of many subterranean civilizations on Planet Earth in the far future. Unlike other villages, Jeeha Village had supplies of fresh water, animals (Mole pigs) for food and electric generators for light. In spite of this, there was an ever-present threat of cave-ins from earthquakes, so the village chief employs diggers from the energetic and maneuverable youth to create new routes for the city to expand. Simon became one of them, and quickly distinguishes himself as one of the best diggers. At age seven, Simon's parents were killed before his eyes in a cave-in during an earthquake. The incident traumatized him and gave him a phobia for earthquakes. Simon then devoted his entire existence to his job, earning him the scorn from his peers. Only Kamina, the local gang leader and juvenile delinquent, reached out to Simon. Kamina "recruited" Simon into "Team Gurren" by dragging him along on outrageous schemes to escape Jeeha Village to the surface, which Kamina claimed he had visited as a young boy. Though Simon was an outcast, he would always feel more comfortable around Kamina. In one instance, Kamina and the other members were trapped in a small hole caused by an earthquake; everyone was scared, but Kamina's pep talks to Simon motivated the digger to drill a tunnel out of the barricade. After this incident, Kamina and Simon grew so close that they could have been called brothers. One day, during digging of a new tunnel, Simon discovers a small drill-shaped object that periodically glows, an item known as the Core Drill. On the same day, he unearths a large "face" in the ground, and shows it to Yoko and Kamina after Jeeha Village is attacked by a large Gunmen. The face is revealed to be a miniature Gunmen, and the Core Drill Simon dug up is the key to starting it. With the aid of this mech, which Kamina names the "Lagann", Simon destroys the large Gunmen attacking Jeeha and rises to the surface world. After helping Kamina capture his own Mecha 'Gurren' and being the driving force behind Team Gurren as they merged their mecha's together to become the now legendary Gurren Lagann, Team Gurren made a big name for themselves in the rebellion. However, Gurren Lagann suddenly vanished in a flash of green energy, and he, Kamina and Yoko found themselves in the underground village of Bunkanl, not knowing what happened to the other members of Team Gurren. Kamina is constantly bragging that he is the Leader of Team Dai-Gurren, but alas... no one in the village believes him. The demons in white, the humans in black. They have always fought against each other. Demons say it is because they are the better race, that the human kind has had their turn and, quite frankly, they wasted it. The humans say it is because they wish to keep things normal, to keep the world sane. They say the demons are only out for their own selfish reasons and cannot be trusted. Either way, both have killed innocent people. Now, with rumors of an old government building being found, there is a chance that the files that were once protected in this building are somewhere in the town near by. Whenever she finds her prey she injects them with a poison; that increases whatever insanity they already have. She has full control over a small military assembly. Not much is known about her past. The poison Miku injects grants the one injected with two enhanced senses or abilities. Rin {Taken by Jayn} ⇙ One of the two twins separated during Miku's recruiting. Torn away in the midst of a battle, she was trained to be an assassin under Miku's authority. Injected with a poison, she became quite heartless, though powerful and blood-crazed. She can't remember her past with Len, and he has become a sworn enemy. Kaito {Taken by Terra} ⇙ Kaito is the leader of a rival military force, just as pretentious as Miku, except he's human. He trains his team to be the best, and specifically to take on Miku's force. He believes he is not nearly as inhumane as Miku, despite the desperate attempts he himself has made to capture the targets he's made for himself, simply because he doesn't alter the blood of his team. Len {Taken by Andrew.} ⇙ Top ranked in Kaito's force, Len's allegiance lies with the latter. He believes with his entire being that he is doing what it right, when it comes to his attempt at world domination, essentially. He despises Rin, and Miku's entire assembly, and he vows to put a stop to their interference. Which lead me to wondering how people feel when they're referred to as their main name? When people call you by your internet name, do you even notice? I only feel weird when people call me Jayn if I think about it. Otherwise, it feels pretty natural. Also, does your online personality differ from your real life one? Which one do you find more accurate? I'm usually more honest about things on the Internet, than in person. There's a lot I hold back from saying face to face with people, so I'd say my online identity is more accurate reading of me as a person than the physical world is.

Synopsis Everyone dies. It's common knowledge. But what happens when you want out of the Afterlife? It would be difficult. Naturally, as everything there was. But Rhia fathomed that if it had been a convenient task, it wouldn't have been worth the trouble. The resistance was apart of the adventure, she thought, and if there was no hazard, then there was more than likely no reward--at least not the one they were searching for. And how long had it been? Maybe two to three years on the surface, about a thousand there? Some ridiculous number like that. But this time, it was it. This time, they would make it. They had to. Rhia Faust committed suicide on February 12, four days after her 17th birthday. Destin was murdered when he was twenty-two. Eliza drowned at a party when she was nineteen. And Oliver can't remember. But there are two things that they all have in common. They ended up in sort of Purgatory, a vast monochrome world with a sky of souls. Tattered buildings, structures, paradox roads and fantastical designs built by the souls themselves. Not too good, not too bad. Somewhere in-between. The second thing was that they all wanted out. A chance to redeem themselves, a chance to be more than a lost soul. A chance at Heaven. Characters *Appearances used as a reference//Ages refer to when they died* Rhia Faust (REE-AH, FAH-ST) Age: Seventeen. Voice Type: Medium, mature. Personality: Secretive, determined, over-ambitious, she believes she knows more than she actually does. Typical teenage mentality, even in death. Mini-Bio: When she lived, Rhia was a perfectionist. The perfect grades, family, house, boyfriend, style, everything. She also suffered from both Insomnia and Schizophrenia. Eventually, the lack of a real, passionate connection with a human being who would help her drove her to committing suicide, in the back of her boyfriends van on impulse. Having resided in sort of purgatory for centuries, she reflected on her life, deeming herself unworthy of such a punishment. Determined at a second shot at life, one where she'll do it right, she formed a rebellion, an adventure to escape to the other side. Sex: Female Line 1: "Everybody dies. But not everyone deserves to. We'll find a way out of it." (Stern, relentless, determined.) Line 2: "I'm scared, I need you. Please save me." (Quite, scared, shaky) Line 3: "I feel like a freak. A dead freak. I mean, when you're dead, death shouldn't bother you, right...?" (Explaining, having walked out on a story being told about how someone died. She is bothered by death still, and feels it isn't fair) Line 4: "I'm not afraid. Not of anything, anymore. Not even the voices." (Once again, very apathetic. Blunt. Quiet.) Eliza Rayne (EH-LIE-ZAH, RAY-N) Age: Nineteen. Voice Type: Medium-high, can easily go from loud to quiet, from soft to firm, from serious to silly. Australian accent preferred, but if you can't do one DON'T TRY, DEAR GOD. If you would like, you can do two takes. One with accent, and one without. Personality: Confident, rambunctious. Mini-Bio: When she lived, Eliza was a major bookworm. Filling her head with fantasy, thoughts in the clouds, it's safe to presume she became quite the social outcast. Due to a dysfunctional family, living in an abusive household, she wasn't very academic (this is why she became a super-senior )--though brilliant, and due to this ignored brilliance, she was often ridiculed and deemed conceited. One day, one of the more popular girls felt pity for her and invited Eliza to a party. Though not her intention, the girls friends began to pressure Eliza into anything and everything. Desperate at this point to fit in and for some relief from the family she dreaded going back to, the girl partook. At this party, she lost her virginity, tried drugs, got drunk for the first time, fell into the outside pool, and drowned. Pretty eventful, for your first party. Upon finding Destin in Purgatory, she found that they both had a mind of creativity. This lead them both to pretending they were brother and sister. They found Rhia together, in the middle of telling one of their stories. Hearing her goal, the joined her full-heartedly. (Eliza more willing than Destin). Sex: Female Line 1: "Either way. An hour might have passed before we heard it. It was snowing. Do you guys remember snow? Cold, white, fluttering stuff. Like the fluff they packed in teddy bears. Except, it melted. When it was warm, or on your skin, or when you smeared it into the ground, it melted." (Telling a story, explaining something between Destin and her.) Line 2: "You're such a big baby!" (To Destin, being playful, loud.) Line 3: "Angst? Me? I think we're all pretty angsty, we're dead!" (Being a smartass towards Oliver, sarcastic) Line 4: "We're with you Rhia. Every step of the way!" (Encouraging.) Destin Parker (DESS-TEN, PAR-KER) Age: Twenty-two. Voice Type: Deep. Smooth, calm. Able to become frantic, almost hysterical if need-be. Personality: Destin is a joker from time to time, but he's pretty laid back on the exterior. He's rather passive. If something happens or gets in his way, he's more likely to try to find away around it, or turn back around that face it full front. But that's only because he's afraid of what would happen if he snapped. He doesn't want to hurt anyone. Mini-Bio: Out of the rest of them, Destin probably had the most 'appealing' lifestyle. Equipped with manners and charisma, he got ahead fast in the business world, becoming a valuable member in a corporation previously head by his father. He settled into a cozy apartment with her girlfriend, finished with college and considering going into law, realizing the conflict of quitting the family business and discovering his passion, he was murdered while taking a walk to clear his mind by a hungry, insane, homeless man he turned away. Upon finding Eliza in Purgatory, he found that they both had a mind of creativity. This lead them both to pretending they were brother and sister. Telling a tale of him and Eliza (as sibilings) running away together on Earth.) Line 2: "Eliza, sometimes you really worry me." (Playful, under his breath, slightly sarcastic.) Line 3: "You know, I'd much rather just kinda...kinda stay here." (Reluctant to leave their current location, being passive as usual.) Line 4: "I don't like remembering my real past. It's too much, almost." (Explaining why he won't talk about how he died, to Eliza.) Oliver (AH-LIVER) Age: Unknown Voice Type: Medium/Medium-low. Childlike almost. Personality: Quiet, bitter. Impatient. Snappish. Mini-Bio: The mystery boy! He can't remember how he died, how old he was, or when it happened. He only knows, he knows that there has to have been a mistake. He's certain he shouldn't be there. So of course, he joined the rebellion. Sex: Male [Could be played by a girl.] Line 1: "I'm not supposed to be here. I'm not supposed to be dead." They had to. ★★★Where is there—excuse me, here? Well, this begins in a certain somewhere that doesn’t really exist. Actually, that’s not entirely true. It exists, to them. It’s a sort of in-between world, where the spirits who weren’t too bad, or too good end up. A sort of purgatory. At least that’s what they call it. There’s not much to say on it. I mean, how it looks and everything. You must at least have a bitof an idea. It doesn’t look too good, or too bad. It’s all kind of dead seeming, which is, natural. I really won’t go into detail about how dead everything looks right now. I really won’t. ★★★I do, however, feel as though I should tell you who I am. I should tell you who am I and what my obsessions are. This will seem obvious at first, but there is a purpose. I am the narrator. I am the all-seeing, all-knowing creator of worlds, stories, characters. I am the author. I am obsessed with commas, italics, insanity and paradoxes. If you don’t like to be confused, or you don’t like emphasis, I don’t think you’ll like my story. Hell, I don’t think you’ll like me. But my introducing myself to you in such a way does not mean that this story isn’t real. Or that I don’t have anything true to convey to you. Or that Rhia and the Rebellion is a fabrication. I just don’t like pretending like I wasn’t there. Author’s do that so often. I do wonder what on Earth is so fascinating about telling a story as if you weren’t bloody there. Like you’re some kind of God hidden away in the clouds somewhere, telling someone else’s tale, when you must have been there to know so much about it. It’s completely illogical, if you want to know the truth—my truth. ★★★That’s enough of me though. Let’s get back to Rhia, and the difficult task she was trying to perform. First off, and forgive me for sounding so blunt, but Rhia died when she was seventeen-years-old. Four days after her birthday, actually. It doesn’t make much sense if you look at it as a stranger. She was 5’6”, with the most beautiful blue eyes. She also had the prettiest chocolate blonde curls you’ve ever seen. The long kind that bounced if you pulled on the ringlets, all of them topped with a decorative headband. Probably floral, black and uniformed. She had the perfect shape, without having to work much for it, because…Well, Rhia was perfect. She was the type of perfect that made you want to hate her. But you couldn’t hate her. She had great grades, the gorgeous boyfriend, the wealthy parents, the more cute than annoying younger siblings. But you couldn’t hate her because she happened to also be equipped with an endearing, charismatic personality. She was sugary sweet to everyone, even the ones no one took the time to learn the names of. ★★★So it was quite the surprise to everyone when the adored Ms. Rhia Faust committed suicide that snowy February morning, in the back of her boyfriend’s van, even. It was almost a shock to her, but she knew herself to be quite impulsive. Perfect, but impetuous. And like with most perfection, there were some usually dangerous defects underneath the stainless exterior. For example, Rhia Faust suffered terribly from insomnia. She found herself awake in the dark hours of the night, staring at her ceiling, or roaming the quiet, shadowy halls of her pleasant suburban home. Only, it wasn’t always quiet. Sometimes, there was a certain company she would have much rather done without. Unknown to her peers, and even to herself (the condition being somewhat of a myth to her), Ms. Perfection was also schizophrenic. The voices kept her company, the voices that would never leave her lonely. ★★★It wasn’t as though she kept it all in. She did try to tell someone. Granted, he wasn’t the best person to go to, but he was someone she trusted. Her boyfriend, the gorgeous one I mentioned earlier. Hunter Braxton wasn’t very good at listening. It wouldn’t have made much of a difference to begin with honestly, everyone can hear to the sounds being made, or the words coming out. But not everyone can listen to what’s actually being said. So when Rhia pulled him aside after the Homecoming game (typically, young Hunter was a football player, though not quarterback) months prior to her suicide, what Hunter heard was his trembling, awestruck girlfriend whining to him about voices. He could have really cared less about who’s voices she was talking about, it should have been enough for her that he kissed her forehead, gave her a squeeze and said everything would be fine later that night after the party. Had he been listening though, maybe he would have really heard her. Maybe he would have heard, ★★★“I’m scared, I need you. Please save me.” ★★★But those are the words that always seem the quietest. So little, lost Rhia kept the rest of her secrets to herself and plastered a permanent smiley physique onto all of the broken pieces that lay underneath it, until February 12th, that is. But that’s beside the point right now. The most important thing is that you know this; Rhia is no longer perfect. She has no beautiful boyfriend, home, or family. She is dead, and she is in the sort of purgatory I explained to you earlier. ★★★It would be foolish of you to assume that she was alone there, of course. No, it wouldn’t be Rhia and the Rebellion if it were only Rhia, and I’m not sure there would be a point in a purgatory if only one person was eligible for acceptance there. In fact, the only spirits who really think of it as Rhia and the Rebellion are those who don’t bother to pay attention to the other three. Besides, it was her idea. ★★★I think now might be the time to introduce to you Oliver, Destin and Eliza. Destin and Eliza often amused themselves by pretending to be siblings, having become fairly in tune with one another over the few thousands of years of their residence, while Oliver was fairly new to sort of purgatory. Of course, Destin and Eliza (or, Eli—a play on ‘a lie’, clever bit she was) never fooled anyone with their games. I truly hate to be a downer, but there is something that the majority of you humans just don’t seem to truly have much of a grip on regarding the other side. Well, those who believe in it, of course. ★★★You’ve all more than likely heard of the phrase, “till death do us part”, correct? If you haven’t, then by all means, step out from that rock you’ve been under. The sad part—and this is where my being a downer may come in—is that this is positively, undoubtedly one of the most precise descriptions of the afterlife, in existence. You have to understand—and this is your problem—but everyone is so similarly different that the differences began to blend in and meld with one another. So it may be rather difficult to imagine that you may be going to sort of Hell while your little sister goes to sort of Heaven and your single-mother ends up in sort of purgatory. Or that you and your best friend won’t be seeing each other anymore when you pass on, despite your assumption that you’ve always been on the same spiritual wavelength. So it was, logically, near impossible that Destin and Eliza were truly siblings, acquaintances, or anything at all on Earth. It’s not as depressing as it sounds really. You don’t miss anybody, because you’re dead. ★★★Despite this, they find themselves granted the most pleasure out of convincing the residents of sort of purgatory that they were indeed siblings. Their false conviction comes from the fictitious facts of their Earth existence. Both equipped with relentless coffee colored irises, thick eyelashes, soft strands of ebony locks curling around the curve of their naturally rosy cheeks, and equally pale complexions. Eliza was the taller out of the two in childhood, until Destin sprouted up during his middle school years. They would both laugh, you know, thinking about his transition into teenage hood and all of the awkwardness that came with it. Eliza would often retell counterfeit memories, giggling to herself and filling her heart with a certain nostalgia, while Destin nodded his head and smiled all the while himself. Even Rhia, the more serious of the group, had to admit, it was a nice change of pace from all of the deadness. Most of sort of purgatory had began to humor the two ‘siblings’. Unfortunately, this was more for their own sake, rather than that of Eli and Destin. They could make you remember what it was like, to be alive. The simplicity of the memories that never happened, the genuine longing etched between the sentences, the desire to be something, to remember something. Even their invented death was a desirable legend to hear. ★★★“One day,” Eliza would start, peering towards Destin with a glint of curiosity lingering in her gaze. He would reward her acting with a mock hesitance of his own, letting his chin drop slowly towards the scattered asphalt, then drift back up lazily to the vibrant globes of light beyond them, running his fingers through his dark tresses with a short nod. Eliza would then return her gaze to the crowd, assuming her position as storyteller once again as she continued. Her voice was always particularly soft for this story, despite being piercing and ambient for the rest. “Destin and I just got tired of everything. You know, Earth, it’s so boring sometimes. Sometimes you just want to forget that you have so much to do, and you want to actually do something! We both had jobs, and we were both excellent money savers. Ma and Pa never really made us pay for anything ourselves. So we figured, why not? It was Spring break. I was a Sophomore in high school and Destin was a Senior. He could drive, so, without telling anybody or anything, we just took off. ” ★★★This is where Rhia would stop listening. It sounded so stupid to her. She had been raised to never go anywhere without telling her parents and getting permission. Even when they stopped asking for it. The only instance in which she didn’t tell anyone anything was February 12th, so she assumed that this story—the one she had never heard, was the one everyone would rave about. The one where Destin and Eliza died. Rhia couldn’t take it. It was a miserable feeling for her, really. She felt like a freak. A dead freak. When you’re dead, death shouldn’t bother you, right? ★★★“It was hasty of us, I’ll admit,” Destin would begin from here, taking the opportunity to be theatrical about it, as usually. His back, previously facing the crowd, was now open to the darkness, footsteps clambering against the concrete, eyes flickering over every spirit’s face and aura inconspicuously. “But we were kids. We paid for our tickets and boarded together. I couldn’t tell you where we were headed. Earth. The places and names usually blur together. It’s the appearances that sticks with you. The colors and the smells and—yeah, that kind of stuff.” ★★★That killed them, normally. Whispers and murmurs sprinkled around the mass, all eyes on the two now, the spirits listening searching for a scrap of something. Something that would help them remember, too. They were hungry for it. Starving. Desperate. ★★★“We got comfortable in one of the cars. I let Eli lay her head on my lap, because she was getting tired and all, and I bought us some snacks. So we just sat there and ate and laughed and talked to each other. We weren’t like most Earth siblings, we didn’t really fight. If we did, we were normally playing with each other. I mean, we fought. But rarely. Anyways, I started dozing off myself. Eli kept complaining that every time I dozed, I leaned forward and started smothering her into my lap, but I still say that’s bull.” ★★★He flashed a grin at her, and she rolled her eyes. The gathered spirits were mesmerized, taking it all in, swooning at the language, at the human of it all. Eliza shifted herself on her seat, crossing her long legs and gazing up at the dazzling atmosphere again. Every time. Every time. The repetition didn’t bother anyone, it reminded them of home. When you’re dead, everything is new. It’s awful. Eli would start up again; ★★★“Either way. An hour might have passed before we heard it. It was snowing. Do you guys remember snow? Cold, white, fluttering stuff. Like the fluff they packed in teddy bears. Except, it melted. When it was warm, or on your skin, or when you smeared it into the ground, it melted. But the temperature was cold. We didn’t feel the cold, though, they kept the train nice and warm. So we didn’t know how cold it was. I don’t even think they knew how cold it was. We didn’t slow down when we should have,” Eliza’s voice trailed off, the unusual softness fading quietly into Destin’s voice. There was something so delicate about dying. It was a shame that the fragility of it was lost in death. ★★★“When we did, it was too late. We were going up this slope, through the mountains and everything. The tracks were all frozen over, and we stopped too fast, there was another train out there, I think. I could hear someone in the front yelling it, I could hear the whistles blaring and the engine roaring. Somehow, the schedules had gotten all mixed up, the tracks had gotten all reversed, and the snowstorm cut off most communications. The train stations couldn’t warn us, and then…” ★★★Then it ended. Of course, that’s not how they really died at all. Eliza, nineteen, drunk at some party she was pressured into going to, teetered and fell into the outside pool and drowned. Destin, twenty-two, was abruptly killed by a homeless man in the middle of the night, after deciding to take a walk to cool his head from an argument with a rather annoying girlfriend. Another Earth misconception; ‘Innocent’ people who are murdered or pass tragically go to Heaven. ★★★I wish I could give you several detailed paragraphs on Oliver, but I really don’t know. I mean, I suppose, having been there I should be able to tell you, but it’s really just too difficult at this point to say. So here is a brief description of the boy. Oliver; dark blue eyes—almost black, a almost always stone expression, short scraggly brown and black hair. He can’t remember when he died or how old he was. He can’t remember how he died. He only knows that it shouldn’t have happened, and he wanted out of sort of purgatory. It wasn’t fair, it would never be fair, he deserved better than sort of purgatory, he thought. That’s exactly why he joined Rhia. The Rebellion, the cause, the only hope. The jailbreak. The something. Because he wasn’t meant to be there. ★★★It would be difficult. Naturally, as everything there was. But Oliver fathomed that if it had been a convenient task, it wouldn’t have been worth the trouble. The resistance was a part of the adventure, he thought, and if there was no hazard, then there was more than likely no reward—at least not the one they were searching for. And how long had it been? Maybe two to three years on the surface, about a thousand there? Some ridiculous number like that. But this time, it was it. This time, they would make it. They had to.
I was riding the community transit, heading to college and everything. This creepy guy gets on the bus, and I'm thinking, "It'd be really rude to judge this person based off of his creepiness." So I swallow down all of the negative thoughts, despite meeting eye contact with him and having one of the most awkward two seconds of my life. Then not five minutes later, police cars are surrounding our bus and we pull over, like ten police officers come in and start asking for all of the men to show their IDs, explaining that there was a robbery and it's just a safety precaution. They start rummaging through the guys' backpacks and bags, and then one of the officer pulls out a bottle of unlabeled pills from the creepy guy's backpack and he said they were for his grandmother, then they reach in and pull out some grocery bag with something in it and the guy suddenly gets up like he's about to make a break for it, and the police officers start shouting and everyone gets down and there's some old lady screaming in front of me and I'm about to have a panic attack, and the guy goes to pull out a ****ing gun and the nearest police officer is shouting warnings and they end up forcing this guy off of the bus, this guy is swearing "****ING ****." over and over and over again, there are gun shots, most of the bus is screaming, and the bus driver closes the doors, we sit there for twenty minutes through the screaming and shouting before we get permission to leave. Today was just... just...who am I? Who are we? What is life?

Flaunt your independence and junk. So what better way to spend your otherwise lonely and pathetic winter break than to go out of town for a few weeks with your friends? Well do I have some lovely news for you all. Let’s just say that you’re not disgusted by that annoying, rich, stuck up fake-brunette from class (Angela). It couldn’t hurt to pretend to be her best friend forever for winter break at least. So lucky you! You’re invited to go chill at a ski lodge and party hard. Don’t worry about trashing the place, Angela’s parents own it. Think of it as payback for all of the drama she puts people through. You’ll be surrounded by classmates, beer, loud music and equally hormonal teens of the opposite sex. Better yet? Transportation is provided, by limos. Which means no struggling to drive in the snow and no blowing money on gas. (Also, no escape.) Unfortunately, there are two things to this that might be a little bit of a downer. One, you’re one of the teenagers who can’t leave that particular night. Whether it be just sheer desire to stick around for longer, or you missed the limos, whatever the case, you’re not going anywhere after the party is done. I suppose, luckily, since Angela’s parents own the ski lodge, you’ll have free rooms to stay in. So it can’t be that bad, even if there is a massive snow storm hitting around that time. It’s on a mountain, what do you expect? Secondly…well…Considering the fact that I, Jayn, am a sadist…Of course…Your life kinda, maybe be in danger. What if you wake up after night of partying to an almost empty ski lodge? What if it’s just you and the others who couldn’t go? No maintenance, no management and no Angela. Okay, so maybe the Angela part is good. Actually, I lied, it’s not. You see, Angela’s there…I suppose if you’re religious she’s not but her body is there. Get it? … You’re really rather slow, aren’t you? She’s dead. Sprawled out in the lobby, staring with her dead eyes at the ceiling with a knife lodged in her heart. All for theatrics, really, but there’s a note wrapped around the knife. “Ready or not, here I come.†I’ll be honest with you, at this point I’m just convinced that you have TERRIBLE luck. First of all, Angela’s dead, you couldn’t leave when everyone else did, you got stuck with people you may or may not be too fond of, Angela’s dead, the phone lines are cut—the skii-lifts aren’t functioning, you’re in the middle of a snow STORM, Angela’s dead, you have no service. Worst of all might be that after a while, you begin to realize that there is virtually no one else but you all and that one of you MUST be the killer. He believes fun is better when under the influence and opens up once alcohol gets in his system. Just a couple of drinks and he'll be laughing and dancing with anyone. He says it's because he "can't feel [his] legs" when he's not sober so he has no control. He is a bit of a gamer and computer-freak but doesn't bring it up when he flirts (unless the girl is into that stuff) but, he refuses to date anyone until he feels that it is right. Alex also likes to make lots of friends, trying to be popular. He isn't like the cliche, snotty popular kid though. He enjoys hanging out with his friends and isn't the most athletic (that most girls think is a turn-down). Other: His way of flirting is making the girl laugh and talks about what she likes. Casey tends to have more acquaintances than actual friends, because she doesn't feel like taking the time to actually befriend others. She also has a tendency to blurt out the first thing that comes to her mind, without thinking of the possible consequences. Other: She came to the party for the booze. Played by: Firekeyblade Spoiler Name: Sammy Lee Appearance: Shy Chinese girl who always wears jackets, sweatshirts, vests, and turtlenecks. Basically nothing all that fashionable or revealing. Her jackets and vests are always zipped up to the collar since she always seems to be cold. Her long black hair is commonly tied in a low ponytail. Sometimes it's down. She also wears a watch. Age: 17 Grade: Senior Personality: Quiet when meeting new people or in a social environment with people she doesn't know. However, she does open up eventually. She is secretly popular in the senior class as being a cool person, albeit quiet. Her humor tends to win people over and she known to be talkative when there is a subject being talked about that she is passionate about. She fits the innocent girl stereotype, though whether that may or may not be true is known only to those that know her.[Okay, she's innocent regarding some stuff, but knowledgeable about other stuff.] Even though she is Asian, she claims she isn't smart at all, she just gets lucky.[Which may or may not be true since she is also known to be modest.] Her reputation is good. Played by: P Spoiler Name: Erika Furudo Appearance: Spoiler Age: 15 Grade: 10th Personality: Erika enjoys things that challenge her intellect, especially murder mystery scenarios. However she gains the most pleasure from using that intellect to degrade and humiliate others. Her mannerisms are refined, so at first glance, one might think of her as perfect, but a strong competitive streak in her brings out her imperfections, and her polite mannerisms become twisted and ugly. She enjoys playing with the truth, and manipulating lies and events to portray the story she finds the most fitting. She has an unusual fondness for tobacco for one her age. She is not averse to the idea of romance, but does not acknowledge love as evidence. A previous relationship ended due to a combination of her ruthless mind, and acute paranoia exposing a situation where her boyfriend was almost certainly cheating on her. She labels herself as both an intellectual rapist, and a detective, despite her age. This is backed up with superb sensory abilities, although she holds no real authority. Other: Unlike the rest of the guests, Erika was not invited to the party, and did not go to the same school as the rest of the characters. On the night before Angela's death, she arrives at the lodge in the middle of the snow storm, almost frozen to death. While she is brought in and given shelter, she explains that she got separated from her hiking group, and ended up at the lodge. Of course, considering the circumstances of the snow storm, the chances of her survival were easily one in a million. Then again, perhaps not even that miracle will be enough to ensure her survival...
