You are more or less objectively acting with misconduct. I do not consider it an insult because it is not said to hurt feelings. It is said to express why you need to take this seriously. You have both not offered to amend your behavior and ignored me. Those together mean that you have no intention of compromising or discussing the issue though you yourself admit that it is small to you. You are placing the blame on me rather than attempting to appease. That is explicit misconduct and it is definitely unbecoming of a staff member.

I am aware that you have feelings. If I were not then I would not be so provocative.

I am tired of you ignoring my ultimatum. Expect the same depressing and saddening conversation if you do not change your behavior, either in discussing these comments or stopping them.

If you do not mean to offend then amend your actions in the future. If you are too proud to do that then you are now doing it in full knowledge of my annoyance, meaning that from now it will be intentional.

You are ignoring my requests to talk about it. You have an obligation as a member of staff to talk about potential misconduct. At the very least, your ignoring my complaint is conduct unbecoming of a member of staff.

You are further disregarding me. It is misplaced to say that I am not willing to reason with you when you have specifically admitted that you do not wish to reason with me. You are avoiding addressing what I have been saying. I want to reason with you, but you refuse to reply with any relevance to my words.

Slander is defined by the victim of slander, as you should know, so my opinion on that particular note is the one that matters. Otherwise everyone who told a story about someone else would be able to discredit the victim's protests as "their opinion".
