Ventus did his best to keep the balance going on through the whole ordeal of the obstacle course without trying to slide around so much and not trying to get into anyone's way. The writer has not much to write as she is in a writer's block and wants to go to bed and needs to post.

Ventus looked at the people who had just finished the course and wondered if it was going to be just as tough as training with Orion. "My training with Orion is done," he called to Shiro. "I guess now is time for the... obstacle course..." he trailed off as he looked to the side when he saw not one A.J.'s, but two A.J.'s. Huh?! He rubbed at his eyes and looked again, wondering what in the world was going on exactly. Why were there two of them?!

Ventus was out of breath. Beuce proved to be a challenging foe to say the least and it was very daunting to keep up with him. Nevertheless, lessons that he learned with Aqua and Terra came back to him and he learned some new tricks too working with his new mentor. "Oh, that's it?" He looked to Beuce and smiled at him, wiping the sweat off his brow. "Thank you for training me. I really learned a lot, and I really appreciate it." He bowed to the keyblade master and then headed off to where the obstacle courses would be at.

He then saw A.J. with a notepad, writing things down. He waved to the boy with a smile. "Hi A.J!" And then continued on until he came to the entrance of the obstacle course. It seemed like it was not ready for new visitors yet, so Ventus stood there with his arms folded and waited patiently.

Ventus listened carefully to the proposition. It seemed to make a lot of sense, and it didn't seem like they didn't need to play silly games anymore. Now they were going to get serious and actually train. He nodded his head and looked to Beuce who also seemed to agree to this as well. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. We can train each other and learn from one another. Let's do it."

And then we fade to black to begin the training montageeeee...

And Be A Man quietly plays in the background and the boys train in their ways as Blade and... whatever Ven is reaching for exactly.

It felt like he was a prey animal watching his short life flash before his eyes. Orion wanted Beuce to kill him?! Ventus scooted back on the ground, prepared to get up and run if he needed to. But it seemed like things died down as fast as they were getting started, until a strange question was asked. "Uh... well we were playing tag earlier, right?" He stood up and brushed himself off, feeling apprehensive being in this man's presence. Was unlocking his first level of aura really this hard? "I guess it all depends how fast I need to move."

Ven was starting to break a sweat when he was trying his best to put his all into his Faith attack. Or... all his faith into... yeah, everyone gets it. Suddenly, the other side seemed to charge up immensely and blast the light in his face, causing him to cry out. He landed hard on his back and laid there dazed for a moment, blinking as he was seeing tiny stars floating above him. He shook his head quickly to get rid of them and slowly brought himself to stand up, grabbing his head as his ears began to have a slight ring to them. "Whoa... How did you do that?" he asked Beuce, looking at him with eyes of curiosity and bedazzlement.

Ven's eyes widened when he saw the mirror image of his attack happening with Beuce. There was a grown up swear word he thought about, but he didn't say out loud. Instead, he gathered the light that was raining down and pushed it all towards Beuce, hoping it would somehow push him back or knock him down.

Ven was distracted for a moment by the cherry petals floating down. It seemed so... pretty. But he sensed something bad was com-

    Ouch.

He barely blinked when he felt something slice him from the abdomen up and Beuce was behind him now. He clutched his stomach and turned around quickly to counter attack, backing off of the man to get some distance. Rule #73, never get distracted by pretty petals in a fight. Where he got that advice from, he wasn't quite sure. He raised his keyblade high in the air and shouted one single word. "Faith!" Soon four blinding pillars of light rained down from the skies and headed straight towards Beuce.

Ven summoned his keyblade, only to be surprised by the look of it. It had some weird ice cream looking things on it. "Huh?!" He didn't have much time to question it though as a hurl of magic was sent his way. "Whoa!" He ducked, barely grazed by the ice and dodged the thunder. He then raised his keyblade and blocked the incoming attack, pushing Beuce back as he summoned his own fire magic at him and sped forward, trying to strike at him.

Ven nearly jumped out of his skin when he was clapped on the shoulder by Beuce. "Ah man!" Ven was panting as he finally came to a stop and tried to catch his breath once more. "Boy, that was kind of exciting. I wonder what that was all about though... I guess we should head back."

Ven arrived back at the Bell Tower with Beuce in tow, strolling up to where they left Orion. "He caught me," he called out to the older man.

Ven saw the arm reaching out to him and jumped out of the way, sucking in his stomach and sidestepping so Beuce would plow forward. He hopped to another roof that was close by, tucking and rolling before jumping up and skirting away, running around a stack of chimneys

"Uh oh." One quick glance over the shoulder and Ven could see that Beuce was catching up. He looked to the left and saw a row of bells. He got an idea and slid underneath, then jumped up and began to find a way down. One thing he learned; never go up in a chase. He looked to the right and found what appeared to be a ladder leading down and darted over, hopping over and sliding down before sprinting off, seeing an opened, stained glass window. He saw a roof close by and took in a deep breath, running towards it and jumped from the windowsill, rolling onto the roof and picked himself up to keep on running.

It was kind of unnerving meeting the other man's gaze for a moment. He was surprised when he was given such a simple task, and he wasn't quite sure how in shape he was, but he was willing to give it a shot. When he was given a ten second head start, he hesitated a moment and then looked to Beuce and Orion before he took off running as fast as he could.

It was all very sentimental and aw-inspiring for one moment, then this heaviness set in among the group as Orion explained what each path being taken would really mean to everyone. Aux pretty much bailed out of it, and it seemed like the girl who was with them, who said she was a princess and a carrier of light, didn't think this path was for her as well. Beuce, however... The more he talked, the darker it seemed. To take a life? No, more than one. As many as he had to, he said. And to have the burden of it on his shoulders for the rest of his life. It sounded so... lonely. And heavy.

Ven watched the interaction with a small frown on his face before he realized the attention was now turned on him. "Oh, m-me?" he pointed at himself awkwardly and thought for a moment, looking at who was left in the group. "I don't suppose you can help me unlock the first level of aura, could you? That seems like that's my first step in this whole training regime. Apparently I haven't unlocked it yet because I'm not a keyblade master. I need to be out there looking for my friends that were taken by Ne- I mean, Eliza. But I don't want to slow everybody down on the team. I'm willing to learn and catch up."

Ven nodded to A.J. and then his attention turned to the other man. Ven couldn't help but to raise an eyebrow at Aux's words as the poor guy seemed to fumble over them. He was patient as he listened to him, trying to string together what he was saying. "So... What you're saying is, you were one of my kidnappers?" He looked around the group for a moment, and they seemed okay with him. He stood there for a moment, mulling over the words and then he rubbed the back of his head nervously. "Well... you didn't do the weird, mechanical stuff to me. From what I understand, it was Nequa that did that. And... You didn't make me 'evil' and make me do stuff. And if everyone else is alright with you here, then I guess I should be too." He forced a smile extended his hand out again to Aux. "Just promise me one thing; you'll help me find my other two friends, Aqua and Terra. They mean so much to me. And if I went through those awful things while I was unconscious... I'm worried about them and what happened to them... Or if something is happening to them now. I want to bring them back and make sure they're okay."
