    Angel stopped dead in her tracks. "Claire... do you blame me for what happened to you?" She asked quietly.

    Claire was silent for a moment. "No, Angel, I don't."

    "Please don't lie," Angel kept her voice soft.

    "Did you know this would happen?" Claire asked carefully.

    "Not all of it," Angel answered. "My visions are blurred whenever Advent is involved."

    Advent laughed coldly and stopped next to Angel. "Just because she won't blame you for what happened doesn't mean it isn't your fault. I told you that you needed to get far away from your family to protect them. Did you listen?" He took a deep breath before continuing. "No! You didn't listen to me! Did you ever stop and think that your hesitance could could hurt the ones around you?' Advent added loudly.

    "Shut up!" Angel ordered Advent. "Just shut up! You said it yourself, you're supposed to be the bad guy! So stop trying to be good!"

    "Stop it!" Claire took her hand away from Angel. "Stop arguing. Stop yelling." She shook her head, her blond, wavy ponytail swishing from side to side. "Angel if you have to leave to do this thing, then go. You've told me enough so that I know what's going on. I'll be fine if you go. I won't break the rules. I'll even come home an hour earlier than curfue. Please don't think I'm your dad. I'm more responsable than he was...."

    "Claire," Angel's voice was low and hard. "Don't bring my father into this."
