"Ok......?" Angel walked up to the desk and gave her the form.

 

While she waited to be called, Angel leaned her head against Alaric's shoulder and closed her eyes My head feels all cloudy....

 

Should I have gone too? Nobody gets sick that fast, Constance thought to herself. She was starting to worry. This wasn't a good idea. She went over to the window and tried to see which way they went.

 

Lance was in the kitchen still thinking if there might be any food hidden. He could see Constance in the corner of his eye, he didn't show it but he was thinking over many things.

 

"I should leave now," she said out of the blue, though she didn't move away from the window. "Before they get back."

 

"Why?" Lance asked his voice calm yet curious

She looked at Lance. "I'm gonna ask you to trust me and not ask why," she replied with a kind smile. "Alaric would never let me leave if he were here. It'd just be better, safer, without me around." She took her scrunched up hat from her pocket and tried to smooth out the wrinkles.

"If thats what you believe is best" Lance said shrugging, Looks like theres no changing your mind

 

Thank gawd, he's SO much easier to deal with than Alaric. She went over to the mirror and put on the hat, making sure it covered up all unhuman features. ".... I'm not one for good-byes. And I'm sorry for leaving so randomly." She walked over and picked up a knife from Lance's bag of weapons. ".... do you mind if I take this with me?" she asked.

 

"not at all, i was expecting you to take one" Lance said

 

"Sweet. Thanks." Constance put the knife in her pocket. She debated going up the fire escape to the roof. Nah, I don't feel like jumping rooftops. She walked over to the door and stopped. "Can you tell them I say 'thanks' for me?" she asked Lance over her shoulder.

 

"I'll tell them" Lance said now looking directly at her

Angel fell asleep while she got called in to see the doctor.

BIC: Constance nodded a "thanks"and left. She leaped down each flight of stairs and landed effortlessly on each landing. She went out the doors and turned in the opposite direction of the way Angel and Alaric went. It's for the best, she told herself.

 

OOC: I'm talented. Lol.

Angel woke up to a nurse shaking her, "The doctor said you can come back now", she politely said to Angel. Angel yawned, "Okay" she walked into the examination and laid down on the table, This somehow seems familiar.

 

Lance sat down on the couch, "Wonder whats on TV" he asked himself turning the TV on.

 

20 minutes later, Angel walked out with a sheet of paper, "He says I have the flu" and she sneezed.
