    Proper usage of the word "guy."

    "Ladies like guys with [quality that most men don't have]."
    "Yeah that guy is my friend, but he's not my boyfriend!"
    "I'm going to get all my guy friends together, then buy them drinks on me!"

    Proper usage of the word "guys."
    "You guys! Sarah, Phoebe, Megan, Vivian! How could you do that!?"
    "Guys! Listen up! All of you are now my harem, got that?"

    Guy=Male only
    Guys=Gender Neutral

    In those cases it should be "girls". In a way, it's like Spanish. When referring to a group of people, if there's a guy in the group you have to use the male form of the word. Only when it's an all female group do you use the female version of said word. It's just by convention.
