_DJ TIME [suggestion by psyhedelic (Rainshine)] Rules Normal Members only. Shows can only be up to 30 minutes in length (including optional commentary). Must be sent to Plums, at the very latest, three nights before the show. How It Works This thread will be posted and stickied in the The SpamZone. Here, you may reserve a time to host your show each Saturday. After this, compile your music together and send it to Plums. The file must be an MP3! Plums will put it on the Radio at the scheduled time. You, the Normal Member, can make your hosting thread in the KH-Vids Radio Section. Here, you select the prefix 'DJ Time' and title it "DJ Time with ____!" Everyone can listen and post as it plays. You may also include a download of the show if you wish! Repeat ad infinitum. Reserving a Spot Currently, you may only reserve a singe time slot on Saturday. There is only one time slot per week (which is 1:30 PM EST (6:30PM GMT)). e.g. muff monkey signs up for Saturday April 5th @ 1:30pm EST, basilissa must reserve the following Saturday. This is on a first come first serve basis, but everyone will eventually get a chance to host their show. If you find yourself unable to host, please post here at least two days beforehand, and we can find someone who may want to take it. If you are scheduled for a show that weekend, Plums will remind you via a Profile Message and/or a tag in this thread. A tabs list of people and dates reserved will be kept up to date in the second post in the thread, so be sure to check it often! Submission Once again, your final file must not exceed 30 Minutes. It must be submitted to Plums at least three nights before the show. This is to ensure the content is (mostly) appropriate and give you enough time to fix anything if there are any mistakes. If you do not know how to compile it into a single MP3, no worries! Just send the individual files themselves to Plums. You can upload them on sites such as Dropbox, box, or other such upload sites. Mediafire can be utilized, however it has led to copyright issues in the past when participants send in individual files.
It was not an intentional change. The shift in the BBCode add on had caused it. I'll look into fixing it back either sometime today or the weekend.

Hey all. Recently (re: last night), we updated our BBCode add on to a more refined version so we could tinker around with a couple potential new codes. As a result, some of them may look a little different. As of now, the only ones you will probably notice right away are: Spoiler Spoiler: The custom name of the spoiler is on the left, and the button to open it is on the right! ...And when you do open it, it opens up like a computer window *o* User Tag Notice how @Plumenkranz is white instead of yellow. That's basically it. If you notice anything ~different~ about some codes, this is probably why. If you do happen to find any that are really bugged out (like spoiler was last night), simply post in the Site Assistance forum and we'll tinker around with it. Thank you for your time~

I want a kid so bad sometimes, and it has gotten to be a pretty solid desire of mine for the future. I especially want at least one daughter. I think it may just be a result of me being closer to my mom than my dad for quite a while in life and all of my pretty close friends being girls, but a daughter would be so awesome to me. And like, while the poop that is the gender binary is something to keep in mind, I don't really see why I should care in this case because I already know that I will put my best effort in supporting my child(ren) and making them feel accepted regardless of their gender/sexual orientation/whatever. It's just so dumb to me to have that in mind consistently when I already know what my response would be :v especially because all babies are adorable and I love them all

I wouldn't say you're crazy. Tales, Skitts (THAT'S YOUR NEW NICKNAME FROM EM until I think of a better one), and Spike already hit on the overarching thing, but I do wanna say that it could be that some people may find you annoying. It obviously depends on the person, but if you're joking about things like grammar, tiny misspellings, activity, and other stuff like that, it can be very irritating to hear that stuff directed towards you, especially if you're in the middle of a very hectic month. Furthermore, some people may just not like a certain volume of messages from a single person. In the past, there was a girl at my high school that I didn't know who messaged me constantly on Facebook, so much so to the point where I had to set myself as invisible. I now realize that I should have just been straight up and said "yo I'm sorry to say this, but you're making me kind of uncomfortable with how much you're trying to talk to me like this. If you'd like to be friends, it's best to just have sporadic convos every now and then and not 6 hour long talks every single day". I do hate to say it, but some people may just not know how to be straight up and say it if they are annoyed/uncomfortable with you trying to talk to them. The best thing you can do in that case is try to hold off on messaging them for a bit, then try again later on in time. It could just be that they're too overwhelmed and just need some space -- and that's okay. You too are okay. I get the same way with a few friends at times, especially newer ones, but you just have to try your best to keep a cool head and try to talk with them while still providing some space for them to breathe, so to speak.
