I took Spanish in High School, although that was only 4 years.

It is fun to do, I must confess.

That is indeed the case, but it does bring about a rather redundant need to know other languages. That frightens me, I do not want to be viewed as an arrogant gent who expects others to speak my tongue rather than myself taking the time to learn more about yours.

Study and study, it is paying off.

Well talking with us of the native tongue does leave major improvements. Given it is "real life training" hahaa!

That is the case; Spanish, French, and Italian are similar due to the etymology of Latin. I speak Spanish as well, and I know fistful of languages here and there...
