I agree completely. I personally have a hard time justifying doing something to please others if it hurts me. The majority of the time when I attempt to please someone else, it's because I can see a profitable outcome for myself. Life sucks, no point in trying to make everyone else's better when the quality of yours is suffering.

In the end the only person that matters is you, so you must look out for yourself first and foremost and take any action you deem necessary to achieve your happiness.

You and I are a lot more similar than I thought. Hooray for doing bad things at the expense of others and having little to no regrets about it?

Aren't the hard to explain sensations usually the best ones? They're ever so complex. And if you're feeling great about things you shouldn't feel great about, maybe you just have a unique outlook on things?
