There are some I don't like, there are some I do. Too many people say they don't look like Pokémon... but of course they do. Because they are.

Probably. It's something that they always do; it's nothing to do with stretching things out.
Pokémon is popular enough that if they wanted to they could release one game every three years and get away with it. But they have a tradition, and they stick to it.

...of course they are. There's always a third version of the games. Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, Platinum, and at some point Gray. Why would they change tradition?
In addition, there's a placeholder code for Kyurem's second forme that has been found within the games, proving that Kyurem will have an alternate forme like Giratina did.

Yeah, well, I love the Ghost type and all, but there's just not enough of them in Unova until the post-game. Hopefully that'll change in Gray.

Ghost, but I decided against carrying on since it's a little too restricting. I don't mind a challenge, but I prefer to use whatever I feel like as opposed to a few that are only available late-game.

Well that's a major problem. I don't really use emulators, so I don't know how to help. :/

No problem. Just look up a rom and not the emulator, as the rom is the actual game file.
