I've been trained classically, but I waste my talent on attempting to sing pop punk songs that are too low for me, and I end up ruining my vocals lol.

I hear ya, but I'm sure things will improve over time! Everything just takes some getting used to is all

I almost became a vocal major, but I couldn't take the voice strain, oops. They were having me sing soprano for almost 40 minutes straight. I'm not even a very good soprano.

Maybe you can do some sort of artistic class outside of school, a lot of times it's more rewarding and more personal as well.

That's a real bummer, where I live they focus on the arts alot, and annoyingly so, considering you need to be passing classes to stay in them, but you need them to graduate as well, and since I never passed my classes, it was hard for me to stay in a class for an arts credit. The choir took me in though. Saved my butt.

Probs, it's just tough for me to follow deadlines for writing, if I have to, I can spew out a crappy short, but only if I have to.

I worked hard on my music all through high school, I cared little to nothing about school. I regret it now. I can't seem to pass algebra.

Hah! I got through high school without doing homework! My teachers passed me because I passed all of my tests, when I decided to take them. I was a terrible student. Oh god.

Yeah, it's fun, I just can't write well when I have no inspiration, but I've discovered some new underground punk bands recently, and that's been helping me, I dunno, I've lost my imagination as I've gotten older.
