    • The Real world
Keeping with the young digidestined trend, you will all be high school children. This is to make bonding with your digimon harder since it's more difficult to digivolve them with age. (May or may not be true, but it also depends on the person) The year is locked in at 1995. Four years before the initial seven visited File Island in Digimon adventure. For a quick bit of history. It was around this time that the giant Greymon and Parrotmon were seen fighting in Japan. This prequel explains the event revolving around that, but that will be saved for later. All you need to know is that your character is in High School, and you are scheduled to go on a school trip today.
Quick Note; Since the year is 1995, don't pull out anything that was invented or used afterword. (Ex; iPhones, Netflix, 9/11, etc.)

      "The Trigger"
"The Trigger" is my definitive word for the event that sends the kids into the digital world. In this variation, it will happen during a citywide field trip to the recently finished Akiyoshi Tower; A TV and communication platform that will boost area wide signals. (Tribute to the series creator Akiyoshi Hongo) After some tampering with a fuzzy signal accompanied by a lightning strike, all students will be transported into the digital world.

    • The Digital World
As this is the first recorded event of a group of children, things will obviously be hard to understand and cope with the first time around in the digital world. For starters, the four main baddies will be introduced off the bat, but not all in one go. These four are known as "The O-Megas." Four powerful and ruthless dictators of the digital realm. These four aren't like the Dark Masters, oh no. They are one of the first major threats to the digital and human world. In fact, their power is revealed early on, and it's any wonder why they have yet to destroy you upon contact. ore on that later...

      Digivices
Since this is a prequel, don't expect digivices when you enter. The digital world is still fairly new and it won't stop it's natural system to make you devices that makes things easier. Starting from scratch, digivolving your digimon will rely on you and not your digivice. It's only until later on where the "D-0 Digivice" is made and given to provide the necessary boost for the stronger stages of digivolution

      Crests
With 10 digidestined, I have planned for you, 3 major Digimon arcs. Each proving your skill as a person and bond with your Digimon. While in season one, there was only 1 type of crest, this story has 3 that reflect other season of digimon. Trait, Element, and Beast (Not in that order)
Certain crests allow you to administer special abilites and forms of digivolution. With the Crest of tenacity recently added to the already existing 9, the way each crest is found and works will be revealed in time. The three types are Trait, Element, and Beast. While The Trait and element crests are selected from a pool of choices, The Beast crest is free for you to choose.

    • Digimon
      Like Most Digimon roleplays, your Digimon's evolution line will consist of the 6 basic forms of evolution;
Fresh, In-Training, Rookie, Champion, Ultimate, and Mega. Knowing this, you will see your digimon grow, as you first meet him or her in the egg state. Basically, you're in it together for the long run. The rate at which your digimon will be able to digivolve depends on factors like, resonance between yourselves, willpower, energy, etc. There will be a level system of sorts that decide when your Digimon can digivolve. You, as a Digimon partner, also posses a level that can grant you abilities when needed.
Your Digimon has 3 attacks starting from Rookie Onward (Fresh has 1 very useless attack and In-Training has one or two fairly weak attacks)
One of these 3 attacks MUST be a melee of sorts. Something like Scratch, Claw attack, Tackle, stuff like that

    • 1) No digivolving your digimon until it's time has come to digivolve. There will be a sort of level system that determines when your digimon is ready to digivolve. (This includes hatching) It is determined by battle experience, understanding, and bond shared with your digimon.

      2) No God modding.

      3) Shun the person who breaks rule 2. SHUN THEM, I SAY!

      4) Keep it PG-13

      5) Like I said earlier, your character starts of sans Digivice, digimon, tags, or crests. Those will be awarded to you at the appropriate times...

      6) if it didn't exist before summer 1995, you don't know what it is.

OOC: Been waiting for this for months... So... "Let's kick it up!" Let's get this started.

    1995. Akiyoshi Tower. Japan.
That's where it all started. Although none of them knew it yet. How were any of them to actually know?

It was a wonderful day. Clear, sunny and with that gentle breeze you would always want to accompany such weather. Not a day you would expect even the slightest drop of rain. Let alone a lightning bolt.
But enough of that. "Time to get to the action!" A young voice came out from one of the buses pulling into the area for the city wide field trip to the recently finished Akiyoshi Tower.
Already, one of the teachers gave a dark look to the student that had made the exclamation. She had always (well... perhaps not always since she couldn't be sure) been an unruly type after all. She'd already been lectured about her choice of clothing for today. "You're showing way too much skin, Ms. Hotaru! And what is the meaning of those goggles on your head? Are you going swimming?"
"What'cha talking about? All the important parts are covered." The student had retorted, causing a number of students to shift uncomfortably in their seats. It was only 1995 in Japan after all. Apparently, according to her teacher, showing this much skin was considered indecent. "Haruka Hotaru! You are a high school student of Sofakin High. Try to act like one. Girls your age should be more respectable instead of showing their... their... their naval!"
Haruka had pouted in response. "I am acting like a high school student my age. I'm just not acting like an old stiff like you."
After the Teacher had made a noise of annoyance in outrage, she had seemingly given up on the 15 year old red head and the trip had proceeded as normal without any other event. Finally, they were here. Haruka was out of her seat the first chance she had, making a big stretch. Sitting down that long wasn't her thing. She felt more comfortable by being more active.

"Right! Single file, students! We'll proceed off the bus in an orderly manner, after which you'll be required to pair up with a travel buddy. Hotaru! I told you to remove those goggles! Right, class, let's move."
Haruka had simply ignored the goggle comment again. The goggles were her thing. Her head felt too bare without them, they were like a part of who she was.
All the students did as they were told, leaving the bus in a single line before they met at the assembly point and started to pair up. Everyone around Haruka paired pretty quickly. She looked around, but most were already buddied up. It's not that Haruka had no friends. In fact, two of the girls, Dahlia and Maylene were good friends with her. It just so happened that they had ended up pairing together first, but Haruka could understand that and naturally didn't hold a grudge.
Haruka looked around the students a bit more. Yup... hardly anyone in sight.
"Hmph. No partner for you, Ms. Hotaru. No wonder. I can't imagine a student who would want to pair up with such an indecent delinquent like yourself."
Haruka simply kept her cool as the teacher tried and failed to press her buttons. That teacher had always had it in for her, and had always been very old fashioned, so Haruka took it in her stride. If this teacher had a problem with her, then that was her problem, not Haruka's.
"Oh very well, I guess you'll have to go around with me. I'll supervise you."
    Screw that.
Instead, she looked around until she found who she was looking for. She smirked upon sighting that glint of pink in the crowd. "Heh. Nah, Sensei. I'm all good. I'll be pairing up with... Mint."

Armaris stepped off the bus and into the sunlight, smiling as she took in a big breath of air. She then sighed out, shielding her eyes from the sun as she looked towards the tower that was just completed. "Oh wow! It's so tall!" She tilted her head back, trying to get a bigger look at it until she stumbled backwards and almost ran into a student. "Oops! Sorry, sorry, sorry," she said, bowing to the older student before she skipped off to line up with the rest of her class. She barely paid attention to role-call but sounded off her name when it was heard before she tucked her hands behind her back and rocked on her heels. She wanted to get going. She couldn't believe that she was a Freshman this year in high school, and she was so lucky to go on this field trip! Some of her friends were going to be so jealous of her.

"Alright kids!" the head principal announced. "Time to pair up!" Some names were read off and then "Armaris Jenkins and Seth Rao, pair up!"

The little Freshman stiffened, realizing who she was paired off with. A senior from her high school... And she a freshman. She felt a couple of stares on her as she quietly looked to the side, looking to where all the seniors were standing. She spotted her companion and tightened the grip on her backpack, walking over slowly to him.

Seth Rao... she had seen him a couple of times at school. Never really got the chance to talk to him though. She put a smile on her face as she approached the guy, saluting him before bowing politely to her upper classman. "Hiya, hello," she greeted with a cheerful voice before she glanced up at him. "Guess we're partners?"

Seth was never too thrilled about this trip that they were all sent upon and had he actually had a choice he would have rather been home doing something else. The tower was new and all and though so many people were so interested in the building Seth was never really all that thrilled about it. It was a tower that would be there for quite a while and if he ever felt like checking it out then he would do so when he truly felt like it. His gramps felt this trip would be a good opportunity for Seth to mingle a bit, and under the urges of the old man, Seth soon found himself taking part of the trip.

Though having been urged to go on this, Seth chose not to merely stay disappointing nor grumpy and merely remained calm for the trip. The weather was nice and he could at least be happy that there was a soothing wind blowing by. With out a word he followed the other seniors and moved on towards their trek towards the towers. After a bus ride and having gotten out of it Seth soon found himself staring up at the huge tower with his hands in his pockets. The teachers had begun to call out the names of the partners and though Seth wasn't too thrilled about the idea of a partner, he wouldn't really complain at all.

He listened to the names that were called out once and all to suddenly he heard a very familiar name being paired up with his very own. "...of course...I get paired with her...this will be...no words" Seth said quietly as he closed his eyes with a sigh. Seth knew of the girl from the Jenkin family due to the friendship between his own grandfather and her own father. They've met before and to say the least the girl was really....something.

Soon enough he heard footsteps approaching him and opening his eyes he rose an eyebrow as he watched the girl salute and give him bow. Closing his eye one more, Seth sighed once more "Armaris...you really don't have to bow..." Seth said opening his eyes as he poked her forehead with his finger with another sigh "Just try and behave this trip...alright?" Seth said.

"Ow!" Armaris giggled from the sudden shock of being poked before standing up straight. She grinned at the guy, rubbing her forehead from the little poking it received. "But Seth, you're an upperclassman! I'm suppose to bow to you. At least that's what my teacher told me." She then lowered her hand and stood a little closer to him, glancing back up at the tower. "Isn't it cool? I mean, they put a lot of work in that thing. Think of all the Legos it would take to build an exact replica of that!" she exclaimed, stretching out her arms from side to side, being sure not to smack Seth in the face on accident. "That would probably take a billion bucket loads of Legos!"

    Rambling, she was rambling again.

She caught herself, chuckling nervously as she ruffled her own hair before coming at ease. "Sorry, I'm just a bit excited," she explained, shrugging her shoulders a bit before glancing back at Seth. Oh, that's right, she had seen him around before. Not just at school, but also sometimes at home too. Although her mom would keep her busy doing something when Seth was over with his grandpa to come visit her father. She never really had a chance to talk to him one on one, just only on rare occasions where they both escaped from parietal views and were able to go outside for a breather. Sometimes her dad would take her to see Seth and his grandpa, other times not.

Armaris sighed out, putting her hands behind her back once more right under her backpack. Although backpacks weren't really needed on this trip, her dad always wanted her to be prepared no matter what. It was like a secret game they had. She couldn't really tell her mother because her mother got upset at her father if she found out. It was a small seventy-two hour kit with everything that would be needed to survive. Well, almost everything. She couldn't take all that she needed to survive out in the wild to school after all. Plus, she was in the city. When would she need all of that?

"How's your grandpa doing?" Armaris asked Seth, keeping her eyes on the tower ahead of them.

The first thing Seth thought of was what kind of teacher would have taught her such a thing, but all too suddenly the topic had been changed and Armaris had continue with her talking, which caused the teen to let out another sigh once more. As he watched her babble on about...whatever she was talking about, Seth immediately reeled his head back as she spread out her arms and instantly rose his eyebrow at her. "...Quite the imagination..." Seth said quietly before closing his eyes.

Conversing with this girl was going to be quite the challenge and Seth wondered if he really would have been better of having been partnered up with some total stranger. The time the two of the met were quite a few, but regardless they really never truly spoke even when they really did have time to. When he was with the perky girl it was really hard to think of what to actually say to the girl so most of the time he was just silent, though in general he really didn't know what to say to others at all. Regardless despite her perkiness, at least she was somebody he knew, which despite was an okay thing, was still a trouble. If his gramps found about it and something happened to her he was sure to get in quite quite trouble despite the girl actually being old enough for her to look after herself

When he heard her speak of his gramps he turned his attention back to her again "Hm? ah...gramps is the same...too tough to kick the bucket" Seth told the girl with a sigh. His attention was caught over at the backpack she held, but in the end he really didn't pay heed to it and walked forward "Alright enough standing around...don't get lost Arm girl" Seth said walking forward.

Finally! Today was the day of the field trip. Gardenia had been looking forward to this for weeks. After all, it wasnt every day that you would go get to see a Radio Tower, right?

Smiling brightly, the young blue-haired girl stepped out of the bus. A bit aways, she noticed a younger girl from her same school causing trouble and being, as the girl herself called it, "a high schooler her age and not an old stiff." Gardenia couldn't help but giggle at this. This girl had spirit, that much was for sure.

"Right! Single file, students! We'll proceed off the bus in an orderly manner, after which you'll be required to pair up with a travel buddy. Hotaru! I told you to remove those goggles! Right, class, let's move."

Required to pair up... Well shoot. There wasn't anyone in plain sight to pair up with, she was too shy, and if she didn't find someone... Would she be left alone..? No. No. That was ridiculous. The teachers wouldn't just let her travel alone. What if she got lost? What would the teachers say then?

Gardenia saw the red-headed girl from earlier decide to pair up with someone named Mint. Must have been someone from their school. Either way, people were pairing up fast, and Gardenia still remained alone.

"Great... Just great... What do I do now?" she whispered to herself, looking around and trying to find someone to pair up with. What a horrid start to her day.

After a long bus ride they’d finally made it to the Radio Tower. As the students piled out of the bus, Koji made sure that he was one of the last ones off the bus. He never felt comfortable in a huge crowd and was trying to avoid most people. Using his eye that wasn’t covered by hair, he looked around at the mass of students. With this many kids and not a single one that he knew, not that he talked to many people in the first place, Koji was bound to be staying in the back at most times.

"Right! Single file, students! We'll proceed off the bus in an orderly manner, after which you'll be required to pair up with a travel buddy. Hotaru! I told you to remove those goggles! Right, class, let's move."

Or that was his original plan. Now that a partner was needed, things became complicated. Especially since his main reason for avoiding people was his left eye. Since it was a different color that his other one, it stuck out like a sore thumb and caused him enough trouble over the years. Getting an eye patch would help too, but it’d also bring up question as to why he wears one. Using his hair to cover it was the simple and easiest way that he could think of. All he needed to do was pass it off as his hairstyle.

Back to the problem at hand, since he didn't know many people, he'd just have to go at it alone. Didn't seem like it would matter too much as long as he stayed with the group from his school.

My name is Daichi Lee. I'm 16 years old and... (sighs) never mind. I was never good at talking about myself. I could think of about 40, 000 things that are most likely more interesting. That's not an overexertion. I've been told by so called "experts" that I'm some kind of prodigy. But really, I just know more than the average person on things I will probably never encounter in my lifetime. It's that kind of seeking knowledge that nearly got me and 9 other kids into some serious trouble.

Okay, got that all out of the way,. Now I can explain how this mess started. Well... my mess.

    AKIYOSHI TOWER
    NERIMA, JAPAN
    JAPAN - 1995

A navy blue station wagon pulled into the parking lot of Akiyoshi Tower. The building had recently finished construction and was now open to the public. As a promotional event, tower press stated that the opening would be available to all high school students.
"You sure you don't want me to go in with you? I don't mind missing a day off work," she said politely. Daichi replied with a somewhat weak smile. "That's okay. I'll only be a few hours, so I can take the subway back when I'm done here." He unbuckled his seatbelt and grabbed his satchel. In it, his portable laptop, and a few notebooks.

That's my mother. She's nice, she takes care of me, but she can be very protective. Nothing wrong with that. I just need some independence for this visit.

"Alright, please call me if anything happens." He looked towards his coat pocket for change for the payphones. He had enough. He shut the door behind him while replying a shy "Thanks." He slugged the bag over his shoulder and waited until his mother drove out of sight before looking towards the tower.
Akiyoshi Tower: Stands at 400 meters to help assist in boosting telecommunications signals. Although Daichi was home schooled, the tower's purpose was precisely the reason he wanted to visit. Nevermind the structure, a boost in signal is what his little side project needed...

With optimistic hopes he walked towards the opening gate to venture into the building. These hopes were quickly halted once he saw how heavy security was. They stamped the hands of kids and teachers who entered the building, turning away pedestrians who weren't enrolled or taught at one of the designated schools. Would they even accept him? He couldn't take that chance. He shifted his eyes quickly between buses to find a group where he could blend in. a class his age, where the teacher finished a head count, where he could just blend in until he got to the higher levels of the building.

One school line=-up caught his eye from a class of 11th graders. the bus they departed from was labeled "SOFAKIN HIGH."
"Right! Single file, students! We'll proceed off the bus in an orderly manner, after which you'll be required to pair up with a travel buddy. Hotaru! I told you to remove those goggles! Right, class, let's move." She seemed to have finished checking up on the group, giving Daichi a prime opportunity to lump himself in undetected. He began to walk a leisurely place, swiftly bundling himself behind the last few students in the group. He just had to stay in the back until they got into the building... Then he could go off on his own and hopefully explore without any interruptions.

With a loud groan and a sigh from half of the occupants of the bus, people begin climbing off one-by-one. Almost immediately, everyone chose their partner for the trip, while one student, Mint Sorrel, an English girl born on Japanese soil, hung back, waiting until the last moment to dismount from the vehicle, knowing exactly who she was going to pair up wi--

"Heh. Nah, Sensei. I'm all good. I'll be pairing up with... Mint."

    Wat.

"Who the hell gave you permission to toss my name around like that?!" Mint suddenly snapped towards the source of the voice, who Mint had immediately recognised as Haruka Hotaru.
Almost instantly afterwards though... she rethought. This was a very common thing for her to do, as thinking on the spot wasn't exactly her strong point. She tended to bite before looking, so to speak, which was in part because of the way she was brought up.
"Alright, whatever." she said, shrugging it off as though she hadn't just scared half of the group. "Alright, I'll pair with Haruka if she's that desperate to."

Gray eyes darted quickly around, searching for chaperones. Seeing one, the upperclassmen paused before letting out a sigh of relief as the teacher walked away without noticing him. Wyatt Kaiju wasn't a troublemaker -far from it- but he wasn't really the rule-abiding type. Wyatt simply did what was easiest and benefited him the most...and right now, a refreshing soda would really benefit him. Slinking away from his class, Wyatt searched for a vending machine. It was a bit difficult as he was a bit taller than most of his peers, but he still managed to sneak away. The floor was cold beneath his bare feet, but it didn't bother him. In fact, it felt kind of good. Wyatt was never one to wear shoes unless necessary so he simply tied his pair together by the laces and hung them around his neck along with his goggles. Trying to stay inconspicuous, Wyatt grabbed the hood of his shirt and placed it on his head.
"Bingo," he smirked as the red label of a soda machine entered his field of vision. Wyatt silently damned his mother's ancestors for their skill in making bad food and drinks taste so good, but he still smiled as he placed the appropriate amount of yen into the machine. There was a whir, a clunk, a click, then another whir and clunk and the Gojira Academy student walked away with two drinks, humming a tune.

It was much easier slipping back into his group than it was sneaking away. Wyatt nudged another student and offered one of the drinks. "Got ya something," he told the other student. "I miss anything good?" He asked Kaede as he popped open his drink.
    Ka-click, pop! Kshhhh.
    Chugchugchugchug glug!
    "Ahhh~"

This place was huge! Takara gazed in wonder around at where they were, not really paying attention to the teachers or the blabberings on of all her school mates. Her school was only small and where she lived reasonably remote so to see so many people all rushing about, so many people from all over was amazing. The building itself was impressive as well, it was so big and tall. She put her camera to her eye to take pictures. She knew her film didn't have that many pictures so she should be conservative with them but this place was amazing so she had to take some to show her dad. She hoped that she could take some amazing photos to show it off. The teacher was reminding them all to stay as a group and not to wander off and the usual spiel dimly in the background. Takara, however, had a huge grin on her face as she watched kids from all the different schools passed her by, this was going to be the best day ever, she just knew it. She wondered if she'd get to speak to some of them, maybe she'd even make a new friend but everyone was moving so fast that she wondered how she'd get a chance. She just stood still in a crowd of people all moving and talking and doing something. That was before her hand was grabbed and pulled along. She looked up to see one of her friends pulling her to go with her school group which was now on the move. "Wake up! Come on, we're moving, you're going to get left behind.", her friend told her. She simply smiled, nodded and moved to catch up.

It was shiny. That was all Kaede could think of the tower at the moment. He knew what it was for but he was not particularly interested in it. Still, it was easy on the eyes for such a structure. He crossed his arms and adjusted the strap of his backpack on his shoulder as he let out a sigh. He did not even need to bring a backpack but he was not comfortable in going on a school-related trip without it. Plus, he could use it whenever he sat down to keep distance between himself and any other person who would want to sit by him by using it to occupy the space beside him.

    "Got ya something."

The nudge of another student took his attention off the expanse of students from other schools and years trying to organize themselves. Kaede recognize the boy who offered him a drink. He did not remember Wyatt's name but they had sat together once or twice back in school. Kaede did not know him well but Wyatt was not someone who got on his nerves. He took the drink slowly muttering, "Thanks," even though he had never asked for a drink. It was a nice gesture from Wyatt at least and Kaede was unsure as to why Wyatt even bothered. Perhaps he wanted a favor...

    "I miss anything good?"

"There was nothing to miss. Unless you want to watch the grass grow." He slipped a finger under the can's pin and snapped it open hearing a familiar sizzle as the carbon dioxide was released. Kaede took a sip and there was no exaggerated sound effects to along with this like in Bueno's post because Kaede was too cool for that. He took a few steps forward as the others began to move. Kaede kept a slow pace to keep from the crowd. "No point in getting left behind." Kaede told the other student plainly without turning towards Wyatt.

"Who the hell gave you permission to toss my name around like that?!"
"I did." Haruka raised an eyebrow whilst simply stating it like it was obvious. That was how she had always done things, since... yeah. Since she had always done things like this. "I didn't realize it was against the law to say somebody's name, Mint Sorrel." She replied in a sarcastic tone, putting particular emphasis on saying Mint's full name this time. That cheeky smirk was pasted over her face as she raised her arms back and rested her head on the back of her hands. She waited those few seconds that she knew needed to go by. And sure enough, after Mint had contemplated things after her initial lashing out..."Alright, whatever."
Bingo. Just as expected, Mint was too easy.
"Alright, I'll pair with Haruka if she's that desperate to."
    ...Woah. Hang on a sec.
"Desperate ain't anything to do with it, pinky. I just know that nobody would partner up with somebody who has hair that glows in the dark." She casually commented, resting her elbow on Mint's shoulder and leaning against her.
"Sure, you're doing me a favor, but all it is is that if we get lost, we'll be found easily since you stick out like a clothed person at a nudist beach."
Smooth... Haruka. Very smooth. ...Things had always been like this between these two. The constant banter going back and forth, Constant arguments and competitions with each other. Well... since the two had met a few years ago anyway. Things had just clicked like that. The sparks had gone flying. All formality out the window and the two had become just one thing to the other. Rivals.
"Enough! Hotaru! Sorrel! If you're gonna partner up then do it quietly! Right... everyone. Follow me. We'll make our way into the building now. Remember, you're representing the school and your district, so everyone be on your best behavior or I'll have you in detention for the rest of the semester!"
And so... everyone proceeded to make their way into the building as directed by their teachers and the members of staff on site. It was time to get things started.

Armaris pouted playfully, sticking out her bottom lip as she folded her arms over her chest. "Arm? Really Seth, really?" She went to catch up to him, holding the shoulder of her backpack strap with her hand. "It's either Armaris or Armi! Arm sounds way too weird. It's like I'm some sort of walking limb like in Adam's Family." She shuddered, keeping in toe with the older male as they approached the building. Even though she lived in Japan, her and her family were of American decent. They were just emigrants, trying to find a place to settle down. Her dad found it very peaceful to live here in the place where he did some basic training. Plus, he got very good medical treatment here. She was happy with whatever.

"So I guess this means we get more TV shows and stuff, huh?" she questioned, looking up at the tower. Armaris heard that the tower was quite powerful; a means to a better future or something mystic of the likes. She then took a look around her, seeing A LOT of people and tons and tons of buses. "Wow, it looks like the whole country is here," she said in awe, almost running into Seth's shoulder.

Over three thousand Japan students from local schools within the region had assembled into the inner halls of the building. Depending on their locations, it ended up being five schools per group. so that the tour groups would be spread out evenly, touring the building from top to bottom in different sectors. Some of the other schools from Shibuya had already gone up to the first few floors. the group Daichi had huddled himself into was part of the sixth group according to the "Grand Opening" pamphlet he had recently acquired from a news stand by the gift shop. Group five was to be lead by the tour guide "Mei" who would lead Brookman, Gojira, Matsutomi, Sofakin, and Valley Springs.

It wasn't long before a tall in woman in heels held up a large card with the number "6" to signal all teachers and their students to group together. Putting on a friendly smiled, she began her orientation of the tower.

"Welcome everyone to the grand opening of Akyoshi tower! I'm Mei and I'll be your tour guide for the next 3 hours. If you will all follow me, we will take the Ring elevator to the 50th floor and begin our decent from there." she raised hand and lead the group to a very wide door, which opened to reveal a very long hallway along the circumference of the building. "Since the building designer wasn't sure how many elevators to include with all the tourism, he designed a giant elevator along the rim of the building. completely safe and powered by a multitude of gears and pulleys, this elevator is capable of carrying just under 60 elephants to the top floor. As you can see, it will go around the building full circle. Thus the name; Ring Elevator!" She was very enthusiastic about her work, though being a tour guide, it seemed like it would be in the job description. As she went on about the elevator's specifications, Diachi took note of the tower's logo. He had read somewhere that the tower was the connecting point for 5 major broadcast stations, which all would now rely on the tower as it's central point. thus the 5 circles surrounding the small one.

Before the elevator took off with the five schools now spread out amongst the large hall of transport, several security guard with briefcases entered the elevator to assist Mei with handling such a large audience. But also, for another purpose.
"As the tower's first guests, all tourists are given this novelty necklace as a bonus to one of the first visitors inside the tower! they come equipped with it's own little crest with the facility's logo on it, but if you prefer different styles can be purchased from the gift shop!" the men opened their briefcases to reveal small, plastic colored tags attached to black strings along with a small silver crest to place inside the tag.

If Mint had been going to respond to Haruka's taunts, she didn't get the chance as the tour guide Mei started talking and telling them all about the tower. Already, like much else, Haruka had already forgotten about her mini slang match with Mint as she listened intently to the woman talk to them. The ring elevator was massive, and pretty cool. Haruka had never seen anything quite like it.

"Free stuff? I'm not gonna complain." She commented as the men with briefcases came around to give out the strange Necklace like things. One of the men stopped in front of her and held out the box, so she in kind put her hand out and grabbed one by the string. Pulling it out, she realized it had gotten tangled with another. The man holding the briefcase raised an eyebrow at her, in which she in turn raised one back.
She pulled the crest out, the attached one also slipping out the case and she untangled the two before turning to Mint and looping the string over the girl's head. "There we go. Looks good on ya." She told her as she slipped her own around her neck too.
The man waited in front of her with a bemused look on his face. "What? Oh... the logo thingy. Yeah."She quickly grabbed two so the guy could move on and continue giving the items out to the other students. She held one of them up to the light and examined it. "It looks alright I guess, if a bit plain. I think it needs to be a more vivid color like Red or Orange." She mumbled before placing it in Mint's hand. "What'cha think? I'm guessing you'd go for bright pink or something. Then again... you're not that much of a girly girl." She shrugged as she added the last bit like it was an afterthought.

Wyatt said nothing else to Kaede as he shrugged and followed their group. Truth was, Wyatt didn't have many real friends. He was more of the type that everyone was okay when he showed up to the party, but no one really bothered to invite him. Thus, Wyatt was much more comfortable talking it up with acquaintances than he was with making new friends. Kaede simply filled the role for today so Wyatt would have someone to talk to...though he might have to find someone else since Kaede was apparently too cool for him.

As their group entered the Ring Elevator, Wyatt chugged the rest of his drink and subtly tossed the empty can into a trash receptacle outside of the elevator door. "Holy giant elevator, Batman," said the lanky student as he turned his head to stare at the amount of people that could fit in a single elevator. "This building designer guy, he thought of everything, huh?" He said aloud, to no one in particular, as he took the sight in.

Grabbing his complimentary necklace, Wyatt let it hang in front of his face. "Not one for jewelry...especially the chunky kind...but eh, free is free. At least this crest thing is customizable. Wonder if they have one with a picture of Godzilla," he joked as he stuffed the necklace into his pocket.

Deni was curious as to what was in the briefcases. The men went around, and anyone that reached in had a necklace moments later. They were actually really cool-looking.

Soon enough came her turn. She reached in and carefully chose an emblem thingy that she liked and would fit her. "Thank you!" She said, bowing to the men who moved on. Deni slid the logo into the main necklace and put it around her neck. "I like these!" She said to herself. Staying in te immediate area, she looked around a bit more. The whole thing itself seemed so unreal. Being here and actually looking around. Chances like these only came once in a lifetime, she figured. Deni snapped a picture of an interesting looking map on the wall. She'd make an album of all her memories.

Mint would certainly have responded violently to Haruka's attitude if she had been able to, but before anything more was able to be said, the duo was interupted by the start of the tour, with the first thing on the agenda being the free gift of the tags. Quietly, Mint accepted Haruka's 'gift' of the second tag she had picked up by accident, and allowed her to thread the string over her head. She took the small object between her fingers and looked at it for a moment. It wasn't exactly her style, if she was honest. She would much rather have something more ornately shaped than this... yellow block.
"What? Oh... the logo thingy. Yeah." she heard Haruka say, as she took two of the crests at the same time, holding one up to look at it.
Mint thought for a second, examining the crest she had been handed. For once, Mint honestly had to agree with Haruka; It would definitely have looked far better if it was a different colour.
"Green." Mint replied to the redhead's question. "That's what I'd have. I still don't like the tag much, but, well, I guess free is free."
Quickly she clipped the tag and crest together, and let the accessory hang there. She had to admit... it looked far better against her clothes than it had on its own. Still, she would have far prefered the tag itself in black or silver; yellow was such a clashing colour.
"Hope this tour doesn't last too long." she said to her partner as soon as the employees were out of earshot. "I know it's a big deal and everything, and it's not like I hate it, but there're still places I'd much rather be."
