[ Created in a manner so those who have never seen the show may join, meaning no canon characters are being used here and while some plot points may be included it is basically an AU to the actual show. ]
    [ OOC Thread ]

There are people among us with extraordinary abilities that set them above the rest of humanity. From understanding things on an advanced level easily to controlling minds. They are your friends, family members, and neighbors.

And while some are content living a normal everyday lifestyle others wish to use their gifts to gain fame, riches, power, or simply to be noticed, both peacefully and violently.

These people are referred to as Alphas and so far society remains unaware of their existence.

As one of them you have a role in the grand scheme of things. What that role is exactly remains unclear though the group you recently became apart of wishes to help people by using their powers and to do so while remaining hidden from the public eye.

A challenging task indeed, but you're up for it. Right?

Either by fate or coincidence you and a group of others happened by a mugging and were able to stop it. During so you discovered that these strangers were just like you, they were all Alphas. This realization caused the group to ponder if what had happened was by just chance or was it a sign telling them that this is what they should do. Help people.

A week has passed since then and this makeshift group has found a hang out and gathers there occasionally, idly passing time. So far there's been only talk of what they can do with little action but that will soon change.

[ Everything is worded like only Alpha characters may be created and yes, there will only be Alphas in the group starting off but that can change. Just a note to keep in mind. ]

    Basic KHV rules apply.

One ability per character. A link of abilities can be found here. All characters must have some form of side-effect, which can also be found in the link provided. The side effect can vary but it should still follow the base line given. If you're unsure about the side effect, or really, anything at all, feel free to contact me either through PM or Skype. (My skype name is aforgottensoul.)

    PG-16 rating.

The ability Hypercognitive was deemed too powerful so it was modified and reserved for one spot only, which is already taken.

Starting off there will be a one character per power rule so we can have variety, but as more people join this rule will be removed.

Play fair. Try to stay active (Should be going at a steady pace but wouldn't want someone who posted once a month. If it is going too fast or slow feel free to say something about it though.) Give me a head ups if you plan on dropping. And remember your characters are free to do things on the side without needing my permission to run off on their own.

    Will add rules if/when needed.

All Teagan was doing was staring at that text message.
It had an address, but she didn't remember where on earth she had gotten the number of this person from. Was she drunk that night? Possible. But she vaguely remembered what had happened, and she still had something she made from that night. It wasn't one of her best things, it was an obvious 2 minute DIY. But she liked it and kept it on a shelf in her living room.
So... should I stay or should I go...
Now the song is stuck in my head.
Teagan decided, she had nothing better to do. She grabbed her bag of tools and her 3 phones and headed out the door towards the address. Her head hurt due to an all-nighter she had just pulled working on her current project. This one was going to take her longer than the others so she paced herself.
When Teagan got to the address she stood at the door not sure if she should just walk in or knock. She just stood there and stared down the door until she brought herself to open it and walk in a couple feet before shouting,
    "Um... Hello?"

Jed eased back into the coffeehouse pleather chair, grasping his simple cup of water close to his chest. He listened carefully to the people around him, shutting his eyes. He opened his eyes and blinked once.

    Blue. Another blink.
    Green. Another blink.
    Grey.

One last blink and Jed's eyes returned to the familiar light brown they usually were. He sipped at the cup of water, still listening to the patrons of the coffee shop. He picked out one interesting voice, with tones he hadn't imitated much before. Jed stretched his neck, and focused on his vocal chords, stretching, reforming, refining. He whispered under his breath, "Double espresso macchiato." A perfect mimic of the woman who had just ordered at the counter.

Jed smiled lazily, readjusting his vocal chords back to normal.

His throat was a tad sore. He drank more of the ice-water he held.

It had been awhile since he took a full disguise, but he practiced often, little things, here and there. Jed wasn't entirely fond of taking full disguises. A vibration from his pocket caused him to jolt in his chair. Jed set his cup of water down on the table and quickly pulled a small flip phone from his pocket. On the screen read an address.

Jed beamed as he shut the phone with a snick, quickly vacating the warmed coffee shop seat.

There was a nice breeze outside as he made his way down the street. He'd been waiting for this text for a few days. It was about time.

Thallen let out a disgruntled sigh. Why did he always have to be so difficult. "Will you please just take Cecilia for a few hours? This is important. How often do I ask you to do anything in her life?" There was an angry rebuttal. She could feel the wave of emotions rolling off her phone. It was overwhelming. If only there was some way she could absorb it through technology. He really was a lazy prat. Ever since the break up Jesse has wanted very little to do with Cecilia, which is completely opposite of how he was before. They were both very involved parents. They spent every second possible doting on the child. After a hefty sigh and a snappy 'fine,' Jesse agreed.

She hung up the phone quickly, running through the small apartment to gather the necessary items. Cecilia was still napping in the nursery. She would need to pack an overnight bag, since there was no time frame listed. Her long red hair bounced around on her shoulders as everything was tossed messily into the diaper bag. There was no time to be neat and organized. The taxing argument with Jesse left her running late, and she would still have to drop Cecilia off to boot.

The stroller was broken. She was forced to carry the young child down the city streets. With the diaper bag hanging off one shoulder and her purse off the other, both hands closed snuggly around her eight-month old daughter. She was a star candidate for an attack-- just like the one a week ago. Thallen was open and vulnerable. How easy it would have been to take the alleyways and side streets, but given that her daughter was in tow, it was far too risky. She would never put Cecilia through that kind of danger. Sticking to the main roads was the only option. It took longer, that was for sure. Her arms were tired. She was short-breathed and panting. Thallen's cheeks were flushed and sweat glistened her brow. Finally, she reached the rundown town home her ex was now living in with a buddy. She hated bringing her daughter here. The place was a dump.

Thallen rang the doorbell once and waited. When the handle finally jiggled and the door swung open, she sighed in relief. Gently, she handed their daughter over to the father. Through the gap in the door, she could easily see the living room. It hadn't been vacuumed in weeks. There were old magazines and food wrappers lying around everywhere. The couch was in shambles, and a lingering smell of tobacco filled the air. "You're going to keep her in your room right?" she asked skeptically.

"Of course. Geez, you act like this is the first time or something." Jesse spat back. He shouldered the diaper bag and returned the skeptical gaze. "I thought it was only for a few hours?"

"I don't exactly know when I"ll be back. It will be some time tonight, but I'm not sure on an exact estimate. I'll let you know as soon as I do." Thallen gave her daughter a kiss on the forehead before heading off in the opposite direction. The address to the bar/apartment was all the way across town. She would never catch a bus in time. Jogging would be the only way.

Finally, the building numbers matched the one in the text message. This was where Rosalie was living? It looked a little rundown, but alas, nothing a little tlc couldn't fix. She steadied her breathing before proceeding to enter the building. The bar was surprisingly nicer on the inside then out. She sat down at the long rustic wood counter. Her fingers trailed over the polished varnish. Working at a bar might be fun. It would most certainly be better than what I'm doing now. She was barely scraping by at the moment. The room smelled like floor cleaner-- disinfectant with a hint of lemon. The foam cushioning was poking out of the plastic on some of the bar stools. She swiveled in place. The skirt of her dress lifted up with the slight breeze. Thallen felt girly and at ease. She would be with people like her-- people that understood her. There was no hiding. There was no Jesse or baby, just people with a common trait, sitting in a bar. Now, if only there was someone to pour her a drink. Maybe I could just make one myself...

    Bzzz.

"Hm?" He had expected someone else as he pulled out his phone to read the text. Nick sighed out and shook his head. "Oh well." He muttered under his breath as he stuffed the phone back in the pocket of his jacket. It had been two days and there was still no answer. Of course, he blamed himself for expecting so much. Until now, he had never heard of a girl making it a one-night-stand. Then again, his social life was essentially nonexistent so it wasn't much of a surprise that he hadn't known of it sooner.

'At least there's something planned for today.' He thought to himself. Nick looked over towards the bar that was on the address the text had said. Even without Rosalie's text he had known where it was. His job had its benefits. Nick tracked the place down the moment Rosalie had bought it. One could never be too careful.

Nick waited several minutes as he watched the bar from a distance, wanting to see if anyone would arrive. Just as he started to get bored, Nick had always hated stakeouts, a redheaded girl entered. With hair like that, it wasn't hard to forget having seen her the week before. Not that he had anything against redheads, they were just easy to spot. He zipped up his jacket, not wanting anyone to notice the firearm hidden within(he had a hard time leaving home without it). These were allies he hoped and didn't want to startle them by showing up armed. It's not like he saw them as a threat anyways.

"I can honestly say that this place is better than a lot of other bars I've been to. Having no one passed out on the floor is a plus." He said aloud as he entered the bar, giving a slight wave to Thallen. "The name's Nick, in case you've forgot-"

    "Um... Hello?"

"-ten..." He looked over towards the door. Three people already? Part of him wondered if these people shared the same kind of social life he had. The rest of his attention remained on Thallen, the state of the bar, and half a dozen other more specific details. "Nobody's home." Nick responded with his poor attempt at humor.

Arianna rubbed the back of her neck as she made her way to the address specified. This all seemed rather weird and the events of the previous week, she'd started to ask herself it had been real, it was so surreal. But it had been and here she was making her way to meet up with them all again. That would be weird as well, talking to people and socialising. She hadn't had the best of luck with other people recently and she'd ended up on her own, away from the rest of the world. It had been a bit lonely but probably for the best, whenever she had attempted to get close to people, it hadn't gone well. Her life was messed up in so many ways.

So why was she coming here now? The little experience said it would probably end badly again but she ignored that. She hoped it would be different this time. These people were like her, she wasn't alone like she'd believed. They weren't the same as her but they were like her. They didn't know about her problem yet, she hadn't told them but she doubted it could stay secret for long. Still maybe they could help her and just maybe, she could help them. This time she was going to take a risk and hope that for once it would pay off.

Glancing at the address on her phone, she checked she was in the right place as she rounded the corner to see the pub right where it was supposed to be. She caught a glimpse of a girl entering, she actually remembered her sort of from a week before. Though a name? Not a chance. The place should be shut aside from them so everyone there had been invited and was one of them. Alphas? That's what they were being called. She just found the name funny, alpha, the name suggested they came first, they were better than everyone else, the best. As if. Well speaking for herself at least it couldn't be further from the truth. Sure, she could do what she could do but it came with a price.

Taking a deep breath, she walked over to the door. Why was she nervous? She shouldn't be. She just didn't want to screw this up. She paused outside, should she knock or just walk straight in? She wasn't sure so settled for a compromise. She knocked on the door twice before opening it. "Oh hey people." She said with pleasant surprise as she came through the door to find 4 people already there. She wasn't late was she? She didn't think she was. Looking around, the pub seemed nice enough, she could easily spend time here. Her eyes were drawn to a TV in the corner which was switched on and playing some kind of action show, her eyes briefly following the fight scene before she looked back at the group. This had the potential to be very good.

In the backroom of the bar was Rosalie who was looking through some boxes of supplies, picking out one filled with various bottles. Pointing to it she looked back to the man standing behind her who held a dazed expression and ordered him to bring it to the front, her voice entering his head as if it was his own thoughts.

He complied, naturally. And behind him she followed, noticing the others who had arrived once she was in the main room. She gave them a smile as the man placed the box on the counter, freezing in place afterwards.
    "Hello, everyone."

After speaking she noticed the man was beginning to look around, confused and lost. What a shame... He was doing so well with helping her clean and rearrange things like a good little helper but it would seem that even the very impressionable had their limits. So before he could start asking questions she could not answer she rushed over to him and grabbed his chin so they could make direct eye contact.
"You've been a wonderful help here, but it's time to go home now," she demanded, letting go of him. After that he returned to his zombie-like state as he exited the bar and went on his way.

Once he was gone Rosalie returned to looking at her four guests and saw that Jed had not yet arrived. He had to of been on his way though, or so she figured. So hopefully he would be here and would not mind if she started talking to everyone before then. It was better than standing around doing nothing after all.
"Anyone want a drink?" She asked, opening the box.

Teagan walked further into the room when she heard voices. She chuckled a bit at the reply "Nobody's home" and casually made her way towards the group of people but stayed distant. When one girl came in with a guy, the guy was acting a bit different, but she really couldn't tell what was up. The girl looked at him and told him to go home and he walked away almost zombie like.
    Maybe it's love?
    "Anyone want a drink?"
"No thank you." Teagan spoke as she looked around at the bar and the others around her. She really didn't want to interact, she was only interested and knowing who the people were and what they looked like. She assumed, the girl was the one who texted her, which meant her name was Rosalie. Which was the name the number was saved under on the phone.

The buzzing of his phone awoke Vergil from his sleep like state. He'd once again fallen asleep on his couch again. Guess I still can't handle an all nighter. He reached over to where his phone was at and check it. The text message light was flashing so someone must've texted him, the question was who. Opening the message he found that it was from the person he'd met a week ago. That had to be the only person it could've been from since the message mention his special 'gift'. He hopped off of the couch and placed on his jacket before leaving.

Following the directions left in the message, he found himself standing bar. Well, there were other places they could've met but a bar was still good. Vergil made his way into the bar and saw that others were here as well. "Yo." He held his hand up in a greeting fashion as he waited to be acknowledged.

"I can honestly say that this place is better than a lot of other bars I've been to. Having no one passed out on the floor is a plus." The sudden voice startled her and she spun on her chair to face it. The man in the doorway waved in her direction and she waved back. She remembered him, from before. Nick, I think. "The name's Nick," Yup, she was right, "in case you've forgot-" Nick was cut off.

"Um... Hello?" said the young long-haired brunette. Teagan?

"-ten..." Nick finished. His attention appeared to remain on her as he commented on the status of the bar. "Nobody's home."

Rosalie had to be around here somewhere, after all, she was the one that invited them. "Thallen," she said with a quick nod to the both of them, "in case you forgot." She smiled softly before catching sight of zombie-like person leaving. That had something to do with Rosalie's gift, didn't it? Thallen couldn't remember. Even with her's, which she's had for as long as she can remember, she still felt as if she was learning new things about it.

"Hello, everyone." came the voice they had all been waiting to hear. Thallen saluted her two fingers in a form of acknowledgement. "Anyone want a drink?" She asked, opening the box.

A drink sounded lovely. She could have at least one. It would probably be awhile anyway. She straightened out on her stool, resting her forearms on the long wooden counter. "I'll take one." Thallen tapped her finger on her chin lightly, trying to decide what would be the best option. "Tequila for me." She grinned widely and waved hello at the next newcomer to enter the bar.

    "Yo."

"Hello." Thallen returned her attention to Rosalie. "Do you need any help with those?" She watched as the younger girl unpacked bottles from the box, placing them on the counter.

    "Thallen, in case you forgot."

"I never forget a name." He responded as he watched the dazed man leave. Either he was drugged up or... Nick's eyes shifted towards Rosalie. It wasn't hard to put two and two together. Truthfully, it was a neat little trick though he preferred the old fashioned method to getting someone to do what you want.

Nick shook his head in response towards Rosalie's question. "I didn't walk here. I'd rather not ditch my car because I wanted something to drink." Nick didn't take a seat but rather just leaned forward against the bar, taking a closer look at the stock. There wasn't anything too fancy but that was just fine with him. Anything that wasn't there could be mixed into something better with what was around. 'I should probably stay away from that though. Last time I played bartender my partner wound up with alcohol poisoning. ...It wasn't my fault he decided to drink the whole glass.'

As he amused himself over his own inadequacy as a bartender, Nick's eyes caught something quite interesting. Rosalie's rack. No, not that one! "It's a shame the last person to own this place didn't leave their shotgun." He motioned towards the empty display at the center above the bottle rack. It was just like one of those old spaghetti westerns where bartenders would keep their shotgun near at hand in their bar. Drunkards could get pretty rowdy and the threat of having your face blown off usually calmed things down. "...Anyways, I'm willing to help unpack too if you want the help."

Arianna watched everyone carefully, feeling a little out of place but determined to make an effort. They seemed varied and different but each one of them would have their own strengths, that's what made a group strong. She'd never really been part of a group before, at least she couldn't remember being part of one, she tended to end up more as a loner. It should be an interesting experience for sure.

She watched the woman who had gathered them there (no clue about a name) send a guy home and watched him leave. He seemed weird, the way he moved, was he alright? She looked back at the woman, she didn't seemed to concerned, did she do something? It was probably nothing and she was making things up. So she simply shook her head slightly and paid attention to what was being said.

Thallen. She'd have to remember that, well she could try at least. She didn't have her hopes set high. It made her feel awkward how they all seemed to have good memories. How would they react to her lack of one? Either way, she smiled and spoke. "I'll put in right now that unlike our friend here, I don't. I have an awful memory." Understatement of the year. "So I have and will forget everyone's names." Along with everything else. "So please, please don't be offended by it. I mean no offence by it. Anyway, for anyone who can't remember, I'm Arianna or just Ari for short. It's an absolute pleasure to meet you all." She grinned as she looked at each of them, could she belong here?

"Oh and if you need absolutely anything doing, I can help. Just show me what needs to be done." She had to at least make herself useful, she wasn't going to just stand around forgetting everything. "And do you have any coke or anything? I don't feel like drinking at the moment. Thanks." It wasn't that she didn't drink, she enjoyed a good drink but right now she wanted her mind in full working order.

Teagan decided to sit down on a chair which almost immediately broke when her body weight was added.
I'm not that fat... am I?
She didn't pay attention to anyone, she instead sat on the ground and proceeded to break the chair apart more and pulled out a drill and took out the screws and took out a knife sawing off parts that would be salvageable. When she finished breaking it apart she all of a sudden got an idea.
Ooo how about I make a stool... why not what else am I supposed to make right now?
She pulled out a couple things and got to work, still listening to what people were saying but at the same time staying in her own little world. A couple times she stopped and looked around for things she would need and then continued.

Oh, apparently not everyone was here like she previously thought. Which one was that? V-something. Vergil, she believed. What an odd name. Thallen and Teagan were also odd names in her opinion. Arianna wasn't so bad.

But compared to such a normal name like Nick those were at least more interesting. Maybe harder to remember, but amusing names for amusing people? Or she had hope that they would be amusing beyond their powers anyway. If not then this would have been a total waste of time. It was way too early to tell one way or another though.
In any case Rosalie smiled at them and made sure to greet Vergil before grabbing a bottle of tequila and a shot glass, putting both in front of Thallen with a 'here you go.' At least she didn't mind a drink unlike the apparent stiff Nick. One wouldn't make driving that hard, dolt.
At least he offered help with the others. There was hardly anything to do though, she really only wanted it clean. She wasn't actually going to open it, not as far as she knew anyway. Well, now that the thought was there...

"No help needed, not now anyway," Rosalie replied before fetching a coke for Ari, handing it over while staring at the one suddenly messing with one of the chairs. "What are you doing?"

    "What are you doing?"
Teagan at this point had already build the basics of the legs. She looked up at the girl, Rosalie, and grinned a little bit before she spoke, "The chair broke. Just, upgrading."
She really didn't want to continue speaking but would respond if questions were asked. She build a couple more things before speaking, "Ignore me. Do what ya do." she didn't care how stupid it may have sounded. She heard a buzzing in her pocket and pulled out the yellow phone. She looked at it and saw no one was really on the yellow phone.
I can build a new one.
She took the phone and unscrewed it, taking out the phone chip and cutting a spot in the seat and inserting it in. She had a couple of wires in her backpack which she used to extend the electronic reach. After a few minutes she added the battery and whispered, "Come on..."
After a minute or so the right chair leg moved. She grinned and added wires to the 2nd leg and connected it to the battery. Teagan laughed and added a top to the seat that was cushion and went back down to the legs and spoke out loud, "A moving stool, who's battery is a cellphone battery." she laughed again and continued, "It'll probably die as fast as cellphones do."
She started to add little pieces to make the stool compact. Like a cellphone, wouldn't it be cool to carry around your own pocket stool?

It was entirely his fault, and Jed would admit it readily. But it was still extremely silly on his part.

    He got lost.

He had to ask several people how to get to the street the bar was on, as he hadn't actually been there yet. Jed had talked to Rose about it for days before she had even bought the place, but she refused to give out the address until everyone else got it. Which was just fine for Jed. Problem was he forgot to mention how bad his lack of an internal compass was.

He really didn't want to call her and ask, he was already so embarrassed, plus she was probably already meeting with the other's and he'd be an interruption. Jed was more than a little flustered. He needed a smoke.

As he walked down the street Jed reached into his pocket and flicked open the self-igniting zippo, the cigarette he always kept tucked behind his ear already in between his fingers. Jed inhaled deeply and kept walking at a fast pace, tucking some hair behind his ear.

He was excited, definitely. Other people like him and Rose. Truth be told he had always thought there were other people out there with powers, the problem was finding them. And now an opportunity like this comes along, seemingly out of nowhere. It was wonderful. Jed couldn't help but smile a bit as he took another drag from the cigarette.

Finally he rounded one last corner and noticed the numbers on the buildings, following them all the way down to a nice looking outside sitting area. He peeked surreptitiously into the multicolored glass. Rose was there, moving bottles around. In relief Jed exhaled quietly, "Oh good,"

Jed quickly dropped his lit cigarette and stepped on it with a worn tennis shoe. He knew how much Rose would dislike him smoking inside. The glass door opened smoothly and he slipped inside, smiling at everyone inside and saying bashfully, "Hi everyone. Sorry I'm late."

Thallen readily accepted the shotglass and bottle of Tequila. How nice of Rosalie to offer her the whole thing. She felt out of place, being the only one with a drink, but oh well. She sighed lightly. There was a baby at home. Surely she was allowed to cut loose on occasion. Her hands steadied the bottle and tipped the neck downwards. The golden liquid poured out into the glass and she returned the bottle to the counter beside her. No limes, but that was fine. She could easily take it without anything else. Thallen lifted the small glass up to her lips and tipped her head back. It burned the back of her throat as it went down, but she slammed the glass on the counter with a smile. Most people hated Tequila, especially straight, while she minded it not.

She patted the seat of the stool next to her, smiling at Nick. The liquor warmed her body slightly. "One won't hurt anything," she cooed. Thallen poured another and slid it in front of the open seat. She listened to what the others had to say as they redid their introductions. Ari wouldn't remember their names? That was fine. She would repeat her name as many times as necessary. Rosalie and Teagan seemed to be discussing another stool or something, she wasn't really paying attention.

The door opened and she looked to the entrance. "Hi everyone. Sorry I'm late." She smiled and waved to the newcomer.

"Hey. You're not too late. We were just getting reacquinted and having drinks." She lifted the bottle and shook it in his direction. Jed, I think...

Nick gave a short nod in response to Rosalie's refusal to let them help just yet. He looked over his shoulder and raised an eyebrow watching as Teagan messed around with the stool. At first he thought she was merely repairing it because it had broken but the "upgrading" comment made it clear. 'That one's compulsive.' He smirked at the thought of one of them being compelled by their own ability to do something. 'At least my ability doesn't force me to lose focus on anything.'

"Are you going to make it talk too? A stool that tells someone that they've had too much to drink would be amus-" And another one walked in. Nick waved without turning around. Judging from who was already here, the only person left to arrive was Jed. There was no need for him to check. "That makes everyone."

He moved over to take the seat beside Thallen, giving up on his previous decision to not drink. "I really should learn to say no to things when a girl smiles at me." Nick traced a finger against the edge of the glass Thallen had filled, staring down at its contents. He was fond of this drink. During one case it was practically the only thing he had to drank for two months. 'There must be something wrong with me if I didn't get sick of it.' Nick returned the smile to Thallen before taking his drink. It went down his throat faster than he expected. No sting. This was a much better reaction than the first time he ever had tequila. The first one's always the hardest...and the messiest for some.

"Guess one drink didn't hurt." Nick said as he raised his empty glass. "I think I'll pass on seconds though. It'd be pretty hard to stop then." He smirked and leaned back in his stool, listening to the loud creak it made. At this rate, Teagan would probably be forced to fix up all the stools and Nick wasn't sure how he felt about that. Sooner or later, the stools would advance so far as to become judgmental. The last thing he wanted was a piece of furniture telling him to lose weight.

Teagan looked up at the boy, she didn't know the name of, and spoke, "Unless you want me to sit here for hours and make that happen, no. I only fixed the stool because I was a bit bored to be totally honest." She looked back down at the work she had done and spoke, "I caught a few names but I can't remember all. My name is Teagan, some people call me Tea..."
She moved a little lever and stood up. The stool started to fold up immediately and all that was left was a little square block of wood. She picked it up and put it on the bar she then leaned her elbow on it and rubbed her eyes a bit, "Is it too late to ask for water?"

    "Anyone want a drink?"

Vergil considered accepting the offer, but decided against it. He already woke up feeling groggy anyway, the last thing he needed was to add a hangover to that. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed the girl, Teagan as she just introduced, and the newly modified stool. "Cool." It wasn't really that hard to impress him, but completely transforming a chair into something like that, it deserved a compliment. "I'll take some water too." Maybe he'll try a drink some other time, when's he's not tired in the morning.
