358/2 Days Zip slasher in mission 9 has no HP gauge?

    I'm not sure if this is a glitch but something doesn't feel right and I'm puzzled. I've seen the main enemies in each mission have a green HP gauge that drops as you damage them but with the Zip slasher it doesn't and I'm battling it for 15 mintues without winning. In the guide book it shows a gauge too.
    What should I do?

    Did you accidentally unequip Scan? I swear I've done that every mission so far...
