You get summoned. The whole thing is looking like it's gonna be a grand fun old time. Then your world gets invaded. Okay, no problem--hang on he just ran past us and look he killed a gold skeleton for us-- uh, okay. So you play on like nothing happened just being a little careful around corners. Then this ******bag comes out of nowhere and firestorms the fuck out of you and sends you back to your world. Hm, that sucked a little, oh well, let's try this again. Hey! It's the SAME BLACK PHANTOM. What's he doing here agai-- oh, I'm dead. Alright, one more time. Oh no... not you AGAIN. Let's fuck him up-- oh, I'm dead again. Alright, last time for sure, we got this. WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE YOU DISGUSTING TROLL?! This time he's dea-- oh hey, I'm dead again. You sign off.
Demon's Soooooooooooooooooouls Best. Game. Ever. For the record, 4-2 is probably one of the more frustrating levels. As if the hundreds of flying manta rays and Skeletons aren't enough, you're screwed if you get invaded.
that makes things a lot easier then. I rented Demon's Souls from gamefly. I got through 1-1 and a bit of 1-2 before I decided that it was far to long a game for me to just rent. I'm hoping I get it for Christmas, if not I'll buy it soon. But that game I can tell from the get-go is brutal and I love it.
I won't deny that 4-2 is hard but me and my friend had cleared it on my game earlier that same session and were just going over to clear it on his, it should have been easier.
Similar thing happened to me on 1-4. The same Black Phantom came after me 3 times, the first time I got him to run into the Blue Dragon's fire, the second time he Firestormed me at the top of the stairs and the third time he used a sword which completely ignored my shield. That was my 2nd-4th time against Black Phantoms, I've only ever fought 5 since I usually just play in Soul Form cause I don't want to get interrupted while farming. And I find the whole of 4 to be quite easy, but that's probably because I've played that one the most. World 3 is what screws me over the most.
I'm pretty new to the game actually but I grind on 3-1 and 3-2 and now that I have a decent bow World 4 is a lot easier except for the boss which I feel like is made to be beaten by two people. I'm still not strong enough to use the Purple Flame Shield though so that might just be me.
