Believe me once I got passed the parts in the demo I retracted my earlier statements of it being the best 3D Sonic. probably people here who care less, but bah.
I didn't read the article yet, but metacritic gave it a 7.5 which is basically a C. Which makes just like the other sonic games, just a tiny bit better.
I never base a game on reviews on others opinions, and especially not yahtzees, i see his reviews as comedic jokes that give me a laugh, nothing serious, I enjoyed the game, far from favourite in the 3D franchise though, SA2 holds that place in my heart stil, i'd say this is my 3rd.
I found that VERY amusin'. I had no plans on gettin' this game (I dislike 3D Sonic games) but it was still a good laugh to watch. xDDD
Another great review by Yahtzee. The game would ge good if it wasn't for the gimmick werehog. It's awesome to see him advertising Game Damage at the end.
Always been a fan of Yahtzee. His metaphors and creative way of speech are entertaining to listen to, and he's pretty much never wrong on what he says in a review (although I think Sonic Adventure 2 was decent).
Dude, this time he is right. I bought the game after playing the demo on XBL. It isn't that great. The camera should be a bit farther out for the day levels when in 3D and when in 2D it need to be moved so Sonic is at the end of start of the screen not the end. And Werehog tries too hard an seizures on the carpet. Yahtzees reviewsare usually meant to be humorous, but in this case it was just spot on. Even then it could be a hell of alot better.
