With the idea of women likening gay men, the more intriguing topic in my mind is why do women like shoes? A number of women have more shoes then they will ever wear in their life. What the hell for?
Does this mean I have the mind of a male since I only have one pair of trainers and I won't get any new ones until the ones I have have wholes in them?
there exists a fundamental connection between the mind and shoes, such that the colors and shape of the shoe will define the underlying mood of the person for that particular day. this also explains the need for many shoes. The more shoes, the better. ... wait this is a survey for a psychology journal right? am i doin it rite?
http://youtu.be/gHvLCY48krI?t=9s i wish i could embed that >.> but in all seriousness, i don't know. a friend of mine says that the shoes are a part of her "collection"
Shoes are a way we define ourselves... it's like any accesory! We must have a collection so we can have one for every occasion! We want men to look at our feet and think "Wow... even somethnig as dirty as feet this girl takes care of- she's obviously quite clean and I must marry her right away and make babies to populate the earth!" We want to feel confident in our path and how we walk! We want to stride places and show people that we mean business! We can't just have one pair, oh no, a pair of trainers with a prom dress? High heels with tracky bottom? Slippers with a Suit? That would be a disgrace! We must look presentable so we can be appealing! We not only have to look beautiful, but feel beautiful as well so we can strut in confidence! tl;dr To make babies.
Funny, my dad has more shoes than my mother since she's the one that buys all the shoes, but has terrible taste in when they need to be replaced. So she throws out all her extra while my still has shoes from back when he was 30.
I personally don't. I will keep the sane ratty, filthy pair of sneakers until a millimeter deep puddle soaks my socks.
Cause they protect my feet, keep them dry during rain and (sometimes) warm during the winter. And since I wasn't blessed in the height department I enjoy the extra inch or two I receive from certain shoes. Otherwise I'm really meh about shoes. I've got maybe five pairs of shoes and usually at least two or three pairs are unusable due to the season.
