He had to get to the bus station, he was down on his luck and only had enough money for one bus ticket, so he thought he'd go visit New York before the Leprosy ran it's course. He went and had the time of his life, only after somehow running into the woman who once the love of his life. They saw the city in an unremarkable fashion, they stop at all the famous spots, they shared laughs and couldn't be more happy...or at least that was the case for her. She knew he was out of money, but despite that, she told him that she had been looking for him all these years, and knew she was deeply in love with him. She told him how she wanted for them to spend a lifetime together, she knew for her, there was no one else in the world more special than him. This was the moment he had wanted to happen his whole life, and all he could do was wish her the best. A tiny chicken tear ran down his tiny chicken cheek as he watched the last moments of his life slowly drift away like a message in a bottle that would never reach it's destination. He thought as he lay dying on a sidewalk in Times Square, why must the worst of things happen to the best of people? Sad story really.
