I recall knowing atleast 2 people who got banned for over spamming.

 

This is one of the oldest videos I know.

 

It was likely trolling. The unattractive cousin of spamming that no one wants to be around.

It's possible. We don't like doing it. When your spam crosses the line and becomes trolling then you'll start getting verbal warnings and all that. You have to be very repetative about it though. We'll let you be a bit annoying for the fun of it now and again, just don't overdo it.

 

Image and word spamming can get you in trouble, yes. Generally we ask that not too many emotes are used per post as it can slow people's computers down, even crash them in some cases.
And though this won't get you in trouble, many users find image spams (emote or otherwise) to be pretty annoying. I don't really care, but I know some do lol.

 

:lolface: They have to be used occasionally or else they'll get lonely and cobwebs will appear.

Also this thread is nothing compared to the gif spam I could create, if I so wished. It could happen any day.
