I have been using pencil to draw for more than 10 years
quite good at manga drawing but not others
since I really like black and white and the touch that pencil gives me

however, i want something new to try
i try water color and some others, but it seems that I am not skillful in using them
so I have decided to try using computer to put on those color

so anyone can suggest me a good start of which sofeware to use??? ^__^

A lot of people use Adobe Photoshop CS2. Personally I do as well.

I guess Photoshop CS2 would be a good one to use considering lots of people use it. (I don't cuz its WAY to confusing to me lol)

Adobe Photoshop CS2 is the way to go if you want to take your art to very good levels.

    www.adobe.com

Go to the downloads section and find Adobe Photoshop CS2 (under any of the categories; it's the same one). Hit "Try" and it should ask you if you are a member; if not, make an account--it's free, if you are a member, just hit okay and then download it as English for Windows.

If you want to try something easier, but still pretty good compared to photoshop, you can do The GIMP as well.

I have HP Photosmart. Will that work just as well? Also, can I make it look like today's professional anime?
