Ok, I was thinking it over when I heard a quote concerning the first space flight in humanity. It was something on the lines of 'We went to heaven but no one was there' and this got me thinking. Can we believe that the Gods exist now that we have gone through 'Heaven'? I mean sure we defetaed the whole Heaven ni the clouds theory with Space flight, but does that mean God can't exist? Personally, the whole idea of a God is still easily possible since Space is far greater than anything we know. I look at the pictures of space and you have to say that bescause of the beauty of its design, you can tell why people can still believe in God creating such wonders. So anyway, the real question is can God and Heaven still be considered real?
Lol as a kid, I used to think Heaven was in the sky and when I went on my first flight, I was like "wtf? there's no one here." But yeah, I stil believe it exists. Just because we can't physically get there, doesn't mean it's not there. It's the whole spiritual concept
I thought the exact same thing when I was younger. I just thought I must not be flying in the right part of Heaven! XD I think most people now believe Heaven as a more spiritual place than a real existing place that is physically there.
^This. Totally, I agree. We've never got there, we don't have complete proof that it isn't there, but it could still be there.
i thought about it before and heaven seems too good to be true and too unlikely i dont think that there is one but i wish there is as for GOD i guess that i gotta have faith and believe
This said all I wanted to. Even the airplane thing. XD I was on my first flight two months after Nana died, and I kept asking my dad to help me find her because I couldn't see her.
Yeah, I remember thinking about the pledge of Allegiance, I thought it said, "One nation, under God, INVISIBLE." SO I was like, "aw, Heaven's invisible!" I used to imagine this glorious white and golden city in teh clouds when I flew
Who's to say Heaven and God are limited to just our planet. If God created everything, then he is limited to the limitless Universe. As for Heaven, I have no clue. I always thought it was some city in the clouds...until I went on my first flight.
