I think a lot of us will take a few moments to think about what has happened a decade ago. September 11th is a decade old and still leaves a huge impact on many lives. As I posted on my Facebook "Today is September 11th. Over 2,000 lives were lost that day and another 1,000 are affected today because of what their lungs were exposed to. My prayers go out to the NYPD, NYFD and all the families that have suffered from their lost loved ones. It's truly a sad day and it will never be forgotten that America saw evil on September 11th 2001. A decade later; the only thing that has changed today is that we are much stronger. God bless America." I wanted to share this video.
Thank you mike for taking the time to make this thread, i was really young when this happened and i remember asking my parent's 'what's happening?'. Many people's lives were lost that day...I really seriously apreiciate you for thanking and praying for everyone, seriously thank you.
I was only three when it happened but I remember a bit. My uncle worked in the city- next to the Empire State Building and my family didn't know where he was. So my would- be- Aunt and my grandma were going crazy trying to find him. We couldn't even get close to the city to try and find him. He ended up having to take a taxi and walking to get to my grandparents house where our family was. Also fireman from our city died in 9-11 too and my uncle who's a volunteer fireman has Remember 9-11 on the back of his truck.
