What is your phobia?

What is your fear KHV?

For me, I have a huge fear of insects and needles. In fact, just this night, I had a panic attack from a wasp sitting on my wall. I could not move and it was hard to breathe. Took me about 10 minutes to swallow my fear and kill it. Now for needles is ian interesting case. I had a serious medial condition (not stating what) and I had to be injected with 4 different vaccines. At 1, my already pale skin had turned to a ghostly white. At 2, I completely passed out.

 

Arachno and an odd type of Hydrophobia.

 

I don't know what my fear is. Maybe it's well-crafted horror stories.

 

Spiders and webs. they scare me half to death. nuff said.

 

well, my mom is literally scared-to-death by spiders, but I don't have a phobia. I mean, some things can freak me out, but nothing that's made it a phobia

Being alone.

 

Well, this is really embarrassing for me, but I have a fear of marriage (AKA Gamophobia).
It's not that I'm afraid of committing to one person for my whole life, but rather a fear that someone will only marry me because of my finances, and then divorce me when I'm washed up.
Maybe I've just seen to many divorce court shows.

 

Any and all Arachnids. Good god. My phobia is pretty weird, though. Sometimes it will trigger an aggressive "MUST KILL IMMEDIATELY" response, and other times I'll just panic and freeze and die inside.

Not really a phobia, but long and dark hallways make me feel uncomfortable.

 

I used to have a fish phobia, and I think I still do because I kind of freaked out when we went to the little Aquarium in Ceasar's Palace with these huuuuuge fishes. Thought I'd have lost it when I successfully went snorkeling in the beach but no.

I also fear of being betrayed because I know how that goes and it's horrible.

I do not have phobias.

I'm not terribly fond of what follows lightning however.

 

Agraphobia. For good reason.

I'm terrified of thunder, too.​

 

Pantaphobia.

I also fear losing things once I have them. I am extremely possessive and greedy. I believe that is called disposaphobia. Not to be confused with compulsive hoarding.

Anyway, I have a huge list of fears, my main one being Jellyfish. They are horrible freakish creatures that lollop through the ocean with their huge plethora of different shaped/sized tentacles that attempt to make them look majestic but really they sting you like hell! I have had many traumatic encounters with Jellyfish- I have never been stung though but that fear of being stung and people describing it to me was enough to freak me out.

Another fear, it's not really a phobia, is people thinking I'm vain- I do have a positive perceptive of myself normally and I get so scared that others interpret anything that I say about myself as me being vain. I dislike vanity but I'm an optimist and I don't like putting myself down a lot.

I have a terrible fear of rejection, but I think that is pretty standard. Also, I have a great fear of people interrupting me when I'm talking as I think it's people not listening to me or thinking I'm boring (more fears right there) and when I talk some of my friends put me down and tell me to shut up about whatever it is which makes me feel terrible so I always make a concsious effort to listen to everyone.

I have a fear of severe stress and anxiety- it causes me to faint and I hate fainting in public places as I feel a burden to everyone.

I have a sort of fear of spiders, I didn't used to as I used to be the sort of person who picked them up and took them outside but then they began being the reoccurrence in my nightmares which has made me associate them with those horrible emotions of fear so now that is what I feel when I see them- classical conditioning... great.

I have so many more but I think that is just listing fears,

 

That is inaccurate, actually. Pantaphobia is a complete absence of fear. Panphobia is the fear of everything.

 

Really? Wow, you learn something everyday. But how can you have no fear? Do you not fear 'fear'?
