Well, I just watched ep 35 of Death Note *spoliers*

Why? Why did Mello and Matt have to die? *cries*

 

Matt's death is epic.

I already knew he would die, but Mello? That's too much for me, lol.

I could care less about Takada

Wtf is up with people and Matt? He was in the show for 5 minutes total. And his death included him saying, "You wouldn't shoot m-" and then he's gunned down by 40 cops. That's far from epic.

I actually cared about Takada's death, not only was her's graphic, it's tragic. She was so used, and Light/Mikami killed her so easily. The poor girl called out for help, and Light kills her off by burning her to death. Now THAT'S epic.

 

I didn't like Matt. But getting shot like 20 times and still standing is an epic way to die, imo.

 

Yes, it wasn't all THAT epic. I didn't like Matt, until this episode. I just really thought it was kinda epic. Kinda

And about Takada...you're right. It is tragic. I just didn't really like Takada. At first, I was like omgwtf when she died. I couldn't believe that Light killed her. Still, I just didn't really like her.

 

Matt was only in episode 32 and 35. He never spoke in 32. Altogether he was in episode 32 to 4 seconds. How could you judge him from that? XD

Matt had a bigger role in the manga - so most of his fangirls have read the manga ^^

Plus who can't love a video game fanatic???

I have to say his death in the anime really disapointed me - they could've done a lot better job

and once you finish the series - you'll know why Mello had to die
