I respect your job as an Admin, but aren't you going a bit too far?

Yes this is me, Kaitsu-Gohan.
I was banned for uh..Threatening people about messing up their registry files?
Ok, well, first, if you ACTUALLY read the topic, it was a joke.
If I can't joke like that, ok, I can accept that, it was a bit too much, sorry.

Now XxxXenanhortxxX, was banned for posting a link that was scripted.
It was said to mess up people's computers, we all know it didn't.

NOW IF IT DID!
He should have a permanent ban, and for me, having to state that I JOKED about the threat that was impossible to accomplish(I stated that I was gonna bash his limbs).

I should have had at least a month, because that part REALLY confused me.
I wasn't sure if you had either mixed up banning me with XxxXehanortxxX or not, but that was really messed up.

Also I tried to find where in the rules where it said nobody is allowed to post scripts or joke about threatening. I found nothing.
So then I just wandered through threads, because I was bored.
And guess what I found, I found youtube scripts posted on this site:

Ok, I just hope you missed that topic, because if you didn't miss it and said it was ok. I'm even more confused, and please don't pull that bull**** of "it's embedded code on this site and is allowed".

But I still respect your job as an Admin, you're just trying to keep this site safe.
I like that in an Admin, as I was an Admin of Naruto Mugen(Recently hacked, and not recovered yet).

I failed to protect it of course, but all in all, I was the most respected Admin on the site. More respected than the Root Admin, because I did my job correctly at looking things through and letting people off without banning them ASAP. I talk to them first and ask. And I also set up rules so they could read and follow. Not set up rules in my own head and keep them away from public like you did.
Anyways, I'm not asking for you to unban me or shorten my ban.
I just want you to read this post and think about it.

Yes, YOU will not tolerate it, but what about the others?
I at least have a discussion with the other Admins first before taking action.
Because one wrong move and chances are, that person is going to find a way to do something about it. Like I am. I'm not happy about this at all. It seemed really wrong.

But then I thought about this, Oh my, I have 0 posts, that must mean I should recieve a permanent ban, due to the fact I won't come back.

I want other's opinions as well. As I said, I respect your job as an Admin, but that doesn't mean I like you, I kind of dislike you :P.

 

If you had an issue, you should bring it PERSONALLY, not on the forum, infront of people.

second of all. I hadnt seen that, your not supposed to embed into posts either to my knowledge. due to users with dialup being caused to crash and have to reboot computers.

third. I ended discussion with Xehanort because he felt it proper to INSULT me and disregard and distort my words.

fourth. due to the many attacks on this site as of late, scripting that causes someone to LOSE CONTROL OF THEIR BROWSER for any period of time is being disallowed. I have enough work to do, with out widespread panic when they get that file.

fifth. it doesnt matter if it was a joke or not, I banned you for the issue of 'messting up their registyr, disabling task manager' which IS in fact possible, I am not stupid, I know what can be done.THAT was why you were banned, had you ACTUALLY read the reason I provided, you would have known this.

Do not come in, trying to make me look bad or stupid and think you will be let off the hook with a 'I respect your job as an admin' It's easy to complain when you dont know how much work it takes 12 people to keep *looks at the number of users*14,000+ members under control. that thread would have simply caused a certain hysteria that we cannot handle at this point.

 

The term "j/k" doesn't do jack when some kids see someone threatens to bash in their limbs, a just kidding aint good enough all the time, what is good enough is not typing a threat in the first place, cause even though you claimed to joke, you still made a threat, quite a violent one i may add at that, as far as i'm concerned i stand by Arc.

 

If its going to effect the site/members, even if it isnt in the rules, your going to get banned for some period of time. The staff just doesnt have time to attend to ever member, and if something happens with you that effects the other members in a negative way, something is going to happen even if it just is a "joke".

Im going to side with Arc and Vivi on this.

Ok time to sum up what I remembered I said...

I wasn't talking about the task manager thing, I was talking about when I said:
I'll bash your fingers and limbs so you can't turn the off button off, lol.

And I wouldn't be stupid enough to post a virus that messes up registry's, that's an offense, that could affect my life as a criminal.

And about your site being attacked. Mine was completely wiped out by a hacker.
My site is just as big as this one. The site was Naruto Mugen, meh, I'm sure a few people on this forum knows about it.. I couldn't do anything to stop it, since the hacker flooded the server connection, and from my observations now, it's still being flooded. Hope the same doesn't happen to this one.

I think I had other stuff I said before the stupid database error erased my message..

Anyways I also stated I was sorry if I caused any trouble to this site.
I didn't want it to end it this way, I was just going to stay here and help the Mugen section out, since I know a lot about Mugen and coding, well...I know enough.

I guess I'm banned after this post, right?

I'm amazed! I'm still not banned, yet I still didn't while he's still off-line.

Basically, I'm just still hella confused.
I just talked with Xaldin, and he laughed at why Xehanort and I was banned.

I just think people side with Arc because he's a respected Admin.
And I hate how people sided with me because I was a respected Admin on my site. I'm not that kind of guy that likes people who side with the higher rank for every move they make.

Dude, let it go. And plus, people actually know Arc, and not for the reasons you think. I can see how some members took that out of porportion, but you have to let it go man. Because, then they'll have a reason to give you a warning.

Let me type this out so you maybe understand this time, I didnt care about the 'bashing limbs' line, that I didnt believe to be true. What I banned your account for was solely the line in Yellow

Now, as said time and time again, if Xaldin thinks you should be unbanned, fine. But if my choice is reversed, I dont want to see anyone run to me when the **** DOES hit the fan.

It's easier to criticize or laugh at someone's decisions, without offereing an alternative. all you've done thus far is whine when you should have THOUGHT about what YOU typed with YOUR hands. YOU should have known 'hmm with all the boris ****, maybe its not a good idea to joke like this.
