Well, they're okay at best......they just look like you got an image and just added text on it.:/
You should try adding some effects and shrinking the size, then it'll be great!
Overall, I give it a 6.5/10.

 

A million effects a good avatar does not make.

Also, plain pictures don't make a good avatar either. xD
Just the right amount of effects and work, and it'll be good.
Not too much, and not too plain.

I did more than just crop them, yet all the best avatars I've seen have been ones with color filters and such, simple crop, resize, and text if needed.

 

My favorite is the 7th one. But, they're all pretty good.
