Assuming you're running it on a PSP, turn up the game CPU to 333 via the XMB menu that appears if you press select. Also, try selecting a different ISO Loader.

But I was under the impression pirating games was illegal? Or did you mean you bought the game and ripped the ISO yourself for personal use?

I believe he's referring to the load times, which to my knowledge the CPU speed doesn't affect. I would suggest using the M33 Driver as your loader and then try it again. Probably won't work, but there's not much else to be done eh?

I'm certain it does affect them, purely from personal experience. Could be placebo, I suppose.

The ISO could be a CSO, which would take longer loading times.

You could also try removing the padding in the ISO.

It may just be a problem with your memory stick.

Maybe your PSP itself is having a problem reading the memory stick?

How about the CPU speed and the ISO-loader?

You could go down to 5.00 m33-6. There's an option to speed up the memory stick in it.

    Are you using a PSP1000, or a 2000/3000? The 1000 is slower.

Is it loading slower than if you were to use the normal UMD of BBS?

Same place you checked the CPU speed. Just press select at the XMB. It'll say the UMD ISO mode in the VSH menu that pops up.

Try changing it to something else, such as the Sony one?

    Perhaps try a different ISO?

Try with the original BBS ISO too, and see if there's a noticeable difference.

Are you using a prepatched version of the game, or something?

I'm not certain here, but installing Prometheus may help you run a clean version of the game. http://dl.qj.net/psp/homebrew-applications/prometheus-4-for-custom-firmware-550.html

Just so we can eliminate the memory stick as being a problem, does a normal BBS ISO (not FM) run quickly, or slowly?
