today i was browsing the movie channels

and I noticed that a channel was showing Final Fantasy: Spirits Within. I've heard a lot about this movie, some saying it was absolutely terrible, some saying it's pretty good, so I decided to turn it on. My sister then informed me that we saw this when we were younger and she was really scared by it so she remembered.

I didn't remember but then I realized that Aki's voice is the same as Mulan's.

I was really excited.

 

You left out the part where you thought it was good or not.

 

I didn't watch all of it, I got up to the part where they go into the desert after Mulan and Alec Baldwin -almost- kiss and then I realized I'd have to deal with their tortured relationship for the whole movie and I couldn't take that. xD

 

That is semi sad, but I think I could take it. I'll have to watch it now. I like tortured semi relationships.

 

Oh don't get me wrong I eat up that stuff, but I wasn't really in the mood for it today.

 

I thought it was good...but not as Final Fantasy

 

Ah, the moods. I'm so lucky I don't get them, and stay the same frickin sarcastic teen I always am. One of them dies in the end, correct?

 

Yeah...the guy.

 

Really? I figured that the funny guy would die from the phantom guys, the doctor would be killed by James Woods and the black guy would be too. Then Alec Baldwin would almost die but not really.

The funny guy and the old guy always die.

 

My parents saw the movie and loved it. Then I showed my mother AC and she was like "OMG DAT WUZ SO GEWD"

 

My mom walked into the room when I was watching Advent Children once. She saw Sephiroth and said "is that Riku?"

she made an effort. :x

 

Yeah, but you show her the real game and she'll be like, ''omfg what is this ****''

 

It's a ploy. They get you attatched to one character, making it good or funny or whatever, and then they wait till the opportune moment, and kill them off. That's what makes it so damn fun. My sister and I play a game where we guess who dies off from the commercials. Awesome ****.

 

My mom knows who VOICES Cloud....


He's on a Soap Opera called General Hospital...and I was watching AC and she noticed the voice and I was like "NO WAI?!"

 

My mom identified Rachel Leigh Cook's voice in Advent Children.

 

It was funny how she knew this and said "He voices those pretty looking females?"


I was like..."Umm......no....He's a guy mom"


She tried...at least.

 

i watched the movie this morning on imax. whatever the hell the channel's name is.



EDIT - OHSH. i remember watching this movie in the theater when it came out.

 

That's better than my mom.

She saw Kairi when I was playing KH2 once and goes: "Is that Kagome?"​

My mom constantly gets my NDS and my PSP mixed up, so she always called it my "DSP or whatever"

She sat through an episode of Death Note and enjoyed it, and sat through one of Higurashi too. She didn't like that one as much, it was the first episode so it went from brutal to flowers to happyhappyjoyjoy in a matter of minutes. Sort of something you need to ease into I guess.

Also FF: Spirits Within was good IMO, but the special features menu was a real *****. I couldn't navigate it for the life of me =/.
