... have you ever had a moment where you accidentally say the word "doctor" with a British accent? I'm currently watching series/season 3, and the other day I was talking with my sister about an appointment I have in a few days and said the word "doctor" with a british accent. Now that I think about it, it kinda feels weird for me to say "doctor" without a British accent.
Which British accent? English, Welsh, general Scottish, Glaswegian, etc...? And hell, I've had moments where I'm in class and think, Man, these people have such weird accents, when in fact I'm talking with the EXACT SAME ACCENT. Then I make a Doctor Who reference and it gets worse.
Well, I automatically have a little lilt to my voice, so yes, I suppose so. Before you ask, I was born and raised in New York. Years of prefering non-American TV have done this to me.
I find myself doing it all the time. Hell, I've even started saying "Ma'am" the same way...The show is consuming my brain.
Yes... That has happened before Also when I say Percy, I always say that the British way, but that's Harry Potter's fault XD
I say it in an English accent... but that's because I'm english xD Anyway, I can't say the word Doctor without thinking of Tennant or Smith >.> And I'm hopnig to go to medical school which will make my job much more interesting O.o
