Kingdom Hearts II Time Paradox?

    I just realized that in CoM Sora's memories were changed in a really short amount of time but it took Namine a whole year to restore them....
    I know it was something about rearranging the memories but won't the same be done when they were changed?
    I am very confused...

    Think of it like say a glass, to break the glass all you have to is drop it, but to put it all back together it takes a very long time and a lot more effort.
