This is Halloween - Comparison

Before anyone makes any desicions, please look at the original:

Alright, here's Marilyn Manson's version (yes, I'm serious):

Wicked, don't ya think? Well, Panic! At the Disco made one too:

Which do you think is better and why?

 

I like the first one best because, well not only is it the original but everyone knows the original and has gotten used to it, and when you add a new concept to anything. Well it makes it strange, somethings are just better left untouched.

 

I thought the original was the best it fitted with the dark theme and mood. The second best in my opinion was the Panic! At the Disco, it was more low-toned than the Marilyn Manson one.

 

I liked the first one better because ,2,3 are little strange to hear :P but still good

i dont like the Marilyn Manson's version .
And Panic! at the disco is good but..
still like the original more.

 

I like the original the best too.
2 and 3 also sound weird to me when put with the movie.

 

I agree that the original is the best!

I think the P!ATD version is crap though.. xD I mean, GOD.. put some enthusiasm into it, this is NBC for jim's sake. :3

Marilyn Manson has it right.

 

What Mish said, nothing tops the original, and Panic just made me wish they were dead....cmon it sounds like they're bored and were forced to do it......

Now marilyn mansons' version, he gets it right, it's darker, grittyer, and sounds scary. I would pay to much him perform that song :3

I don't care who you are, you know if you hear that while walking down some dark alley or in a haunted house it would scare the **** out of you. I have this version on my iPod and listen to it all the time >:3

 

Well i prefer the original. Nothing is better than that. It has the style it should.

Now Panic seems like whispering and manson's is too rock.

 

Original because of two reasons:

- P!ATD sucks.

- Marylin Manson scares me.

 

I chose the Manson one.

The original is really good. But the Manson has like... POWERRRRRRRRRR!!!

And, pity for Panic!

i chose the original because it just sounds the best, in th other two they didnt have different voices for different characters

 

That was the first time I've heard any of them... (Sad as it is, I've never watched the Nightmare Before Christmas... TT^TT)

I'd have to say... The original. P!ATD was pretty good, but it sounded kinda... mellow for something that's supposed to be scary. XD;

The second one scared the hell outta me. >.>; Good if you wanna scare someone, not so good if you want to enjoy it... ._.;

So, ja. Go original! XDDD

 

Eh, thinking Manson did a very nice job at remaking the original. (Creeped my friend out when she first heard it, and i say that served it's purpose) Though, i gotta say i still like the original better. :p

Eh, the third one's just way to finky....sounds more like a guy singing the song in the shower...though i thought the lullaby was the only nice touch to the song.

 

The original. It sounds really good. Great find, Zexion!

 

The original, there are more voices! And I grew accostomed to it after 50 plays on the CD.

 

Whoa this thread is old, I remember seeing it months ago! But I guess I never made a post here, so I like the original version the best. There's just no comparison there. Marilyn Manson's is too...intense, for lack of a better word. Panic! at the Disco's...as much as I love that band, their cover for this song sucks.

 

the orginal rocks but the marilan manson verson is just as good.

Hmm, I liked them all for their differences. I will say though that the original to me is the best. The other two were cool in their ways though.
