Alex Bounced into His Aunt and Uncle's house,he might be twenty-one,but he acted like he was seventeen"Hi Auntie Lily,Uncle Lewis,you lot going to Diagone Aly today? my dad,mum and James are,Dad says we could all go in together,where's Lyra and Jordan?"Alex said very fast

"Still in bed and have you had coffee this mornning?"Lily asked

"Only some.."

"Can you go wake them -"a cry sounded from her daughter's room"no need,Cory's seen to that..."

"Cant you shut him up for once?!"Jordan yelled
"No! he's only a baby jordan! and your acting like one so stop it!"Lyra said coming down stairs rocking the screaming Red-haired baby"Shhh...whats up? huh? come on...tell mummy..."

 

"Ly, the kid is screaming because that's the only thing he CAN do." Casey sighed, he had shown up quite some time ago in the hope that he'd get to see Lyra for longer that day. That and Jamei's screaming at two am that morning had woken him up with such a jolt that he'd had no hope of falling back to sleep. The evidence was obvious in the bags under his eyes, making him look rather like a stoned panda instead of his usual heart-flutteringly handsome self. The lack of sleep was also starting to have an negative effect on his moods too. Currently he was leaning against the kitchen wall with a casual grace that he always carried holding a rather large cup of coffee, which had anyone been interested to count would of been cup number five.

 

"He can do other things too,like he's starting to talk and walk and-"

"Yeah,yeah thats great lyra.."Jordan said sitting at the kitchen table..." you do know he cried about five times last night....mum can i skip shoping? i hate it."

"no...you need new robes...."Lily said"and maybe you'll get the prefect badge this year too."

"Yeah,that'll be the day..."he mutterd

"Lyra put Cory down,he spotted her cat and resumed Chasing him,as he always did

 

"That poor mog." Casey chuckled watching Cory chased the feline around the room.

 

lyra grinned"Cory dont pull his tail!"she said as the cat hissed,there was a tap on the window and she crossed the room to let th Owl in,it dropped a letter in front of Jordan
" 'wl!"cory said happily smiling up at Lyra,she smiled at him
"Oh sh*t!"Jordan said"its My NEWTs!"
"well....open it!"
he opened the letter and his tense face relaxed into a grin"did alright! see i am smart!"
"UH-HUH."Lyra said taking it from him"oh my god....he did good..."

 

"S-M-A-T! I mean s-m-a-r-t of course." Casey said faking being a complete moron and looking around shiftily.

 

cory giggled,grinning up at him

Jordan yanked the paper out lyra's hand and showed Lily,Looking pleased with himself

"Your mum coming today Casey?"Lewis asked

 

Casey chuckled as he ruffled Cory's hair before looking up at Lewis. "Yeah, I think so. Not certain, depends on the twins behaviour."

"Not behaving to good then?'lewis said"well twins never behave do they? i should know...i am one... twins can be annoying little buggers,better hope you never have any-"

"Yes,Ok dad we get it,twins are annoying...just stop ok?"Lyra said alittle too loudly,she cleared her throat,"Cory come on,lets get you dressed..."she picked him up and left quickly

"What was that about?"
"Dont know..."

 

"Not a clue." Casey said with a rather puzzled expression crossing his face.

"you should go find out its your gi-best mate..."Jordan said quickly so nobody noticed his slip up apart from Alex who shot him the 'stop talking now!' look

Casey nodded and casually 'accidently' smacked Jordan over the back of the head as he passed. "Oh, sorry." He said in a convincing tone before heading after Lyra.

"You desevered it...."Alex said'do you wanna start world war III?"Alex whisperd as he bent over to pick a bit of toast up from the table
