......so has anyone watched this? this movie is HELLA good. it's rated R for some reason but i honestly cannot see why it is. i first watched this movie when i was in 2nd grade and it came on TV a few days ago, and i LOVED IT SO MUCH that i bought the DVD today :D anyways, it's about an evil kid (the actor is the same kid from Home Alone i think) that keeps killing ppl and when another kid tries to tell th evil kid's parents, they don't listen. it really is a good movie.

    GREAT MOVIE.

You know Mark? That's Frodo from LotR.

But I love how freaky Henry is. He's so screwed up. It's awesome.

oh REALLY? i never knew that Mark was Frodo! i guess this movie is REALLY old then. i think whoever it was that acted Henry was a really good actor too becuz his lines were so evil and performed so well. it's funny cuz they're both little kids and they threaten to kill each other, lol

This movie was on like last week.

What's weird is that Elijah Woods looks the same in the movie as he does in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy, that's creepy because his face didn't change at all.

The movie was good, but I can't believe that everyone didn't believe Mark. The mother should of let go of Henry when she caught him. He tried to kill you, why are you even considering saving him? It was that point when I was shouting at the TV like a crazy person. Mark should of left after the incident when he tried to climb into the treehouse, or when Henry shot the dog, or when Henry tried to drown his sister, or after finding out that Henry killed his younger brother, or the other times when he found out how messed up Henry was.

Henry is a messed up kid who serioiusly needs to set up an apointment with a therapist. Imagine if there was someone like him in your neighborhood.

Well, it was her child. And think about how horrible it would be for another one of her children to lose another child after Henry's younger brother (who was adorable, btw).

When I watched the film I didn't see Henry's younger brother. I must of not been paying attention when it happened.

Well, she found out that Henry caused the younger brother's death after she found the rubber duckie and Henry was furious because she wouldn't give it to him.

Henry was still the fruits of her loin.

Okay, that sounded kind of gross.

But still -- she made the right decision in the end.

It kind of makes you think doesn't it?

If you were in a situation like hers would you made the same decision if you went through it again?

The movie was creepy and I don't want to see it again. I would rather see the dude who played Henry in the Home Alone movies than in this one.

What creeped me out was how Henry acted, he had an unemotional face, and how he talked liked. He's a pyscho!

Also the scenes where he said, "If I let you go do you think you can fly?", when he shot and killed the dog, and some other scene.

They were good at acting, Elijah Woods and the other kid.

During the scene where Mark attacks Henry from behind wouldn't it be smarter to grab a rock and hit Henry's head?

Mark should of left after the scene when Henry shot and killed the dog.

I would of gotten scared after the incident of climbing the tree and left.

Nah, I really enjoy watching this movie. Yeah, it's creepy, but it's the kind that makes you think about choices and all that.

Yeah, this movie does make you think about your choices, like Harry Potter sort of.

It's kind of funny to think that if you went back in time and changed one decision, it would change you dramatically.

This movie really was one that made me think. It does make you wonder what you might do in the situations presented. McCauley Culkin and Elijah Wood were really good in this and it was kind of a creepy movie but also drew a lot of emotion into it. I was at points really mad during this and other times just feeling really sorry for Elijah's character. It certainly was a movie that should have had more attention than it received.

true, i dont' know what i would do if i were Mark, i was SO MAD at Susan when she slapped Mark when she tried telling on Henry! i thot this was like one of the best movies ever, i'm suprised it didn't win any awards or anything. i wonder why it's rated R tho, it wasn't THAT disturbing, for god's sake, i first saw the movie when i was in the 2nd grade.

I really start to wonder at movie ratings anymore. I suppose this one was rated R because of the maturity of the situations presented and it's inappropriate somehow for kids. I can see for little kids it might not be so great...though I don't know if I would not let a kid see it. Teenagers though, I have no idea why they could not watch it. It should have been rated PG-13 at highest.

Then again, Alvin and the Chipmunks was somehow rated PG-13 because of 'mild rude humor' which I'm guessing had to do with a scene of one of the chipmunks pooping and one fart scene. Really it was not meriting this rating at all. It pretty much mimicked the cartoon but was more in detail. There are other movies I really don't get ratings for either but I digress. This movie didn't deserve an R. Yes, it's an adult theme of seriousness but teenagers can understand and not be horrified.

hmmm, btw, what was your (if any) favorite part of the movie? i personally loved the end when Mark and Henry fought. awww, i found it pretty adorable to watch 10 year olds fight each other to the death while Henry was fighting dirty (he hit Mark in the head with a rock, and then kneed Mark in the nuts), lol.
