But I woulden't worry, even if what the girl said was true, he woulden't do anything to risk his currently very unstable reputation.

I know the girl personally, I played Sports with her and talked with her in 5th grade

I don't think it would be something she would lie about, she is a very funny person, but nothing to lie about something like that...

Well, I think they are going about it the right way really. There is nothing to prove he's guilty or innocent at this point and it is all just hear say. The girl could have set him up because she doesn't like him. He could have also said a stupid comment to her and been way out of line. This should be verified before the teacher loses his job. I have seen students set up teachers like this and I've also heard of cases where teachers say these things to one person present to dispute it. It's a rough call and so authorities do need to be careful about it. If he was innocent this could ruin his whole career and that would suck as bad as if he said it and nothing would be done. So I await the verdict.
