http://www.comicvine.com/articles/stand-alone-star-wars-movie-announced/1100-148827/ Many people have been speculating since the buyout (really from far before the buyout as well but the buyout opened up the possibility for more Star Wars films which Lucas had said would never happen so these didn't seem too unreasonable) that there will be standalone Star Wars films to come, and now it seems that we are finally getting them. Obviously Fett is something people want to see. And Solo as well. But what do you think? It doesn't seem that we have any information yet aside from a "it's happening" but it's still fun to speculate.
I like Darth Maul, and it's sad that his biggest exposure was about twenty minutes in the most controversial film of the first three. I'd like to see his rise to apprenticeship fleshed out a bit, though admittedly I question if it's enough content to fill a whole film. Straight-to-TV movie? Short TV series? It's all fair game now.
