Kingdom Hearts II Sora's Sleep

I know it is only a game but I just thought of one thing
Sora slept for a year without eating (or drinking) for a year...
Won't he just starve to death?
P.S. I know that when you sleep your body would use lesser energy but a whole year is a little bit to much I think...

 

Naminé stuffed food and drinks down his throat... I think that sums that up quite nicely. Either that or Sora is not human and has a secret storage inside him.

Since he grew and ended up healthy when he woke up, he must've eaten well during his sleep. But since that wouldn't have happened I guess the magic that kept him asleep also kept him healthy and made it so he could grow and live without eating. Magic just doesn't care about making sense ><

Gee...I never thought of that...another thing that's strange is that he didn't even want to eat or drink after he woke up...

 

Guys it's a game... Like in films... They never seem to need the toilet... Oooooh.

 

Well, I agree with the magic theory. Remember that floating mist around Sora when he woke up? Maybe that was keeping him alive..."magically". And if you notice at the top of Sora's sleeping pod, there's tube-like things on top of it that hooks to the ceiling. So maybe he was magically fed? O.o lol

 

This is another thing that makes me wonder if he was in suspended animation...

 

It's a video game, anything is possible. But if you want a realistic answer, I'd agree with Kenni-Chan:

Either that or he was cryogenically frozen in some sleep pod like Walt Disney. ^_^

your thinking too hard, lolz? I don't think that I've even seen sora eat once. Perhaps he doesn't need food to live.

Sora DOES eat. When you throw potions on him.

Now, if we count all the KH payers worldwide who fought Sephiroth in KH1, and count all the Elixirs that Sora had to drink... well, Elixirs are energetic drinks, so Sora won't be hungry for a looooooooong time.

As for going to the bathroom... well...

*Sora wakes up, and yawns*
Donald and Goofy : Sora!
Sora : Donald ! Goofy!
*jumps down the pod, and runs towards them*
*runs past them*
Donald : Quack?
Goofy : Sora! Where are you going?
Sora : To the nearest treasure chest!!!

 

Maybe the power giving the egg had nutrients and food in it?

He did use the bathroom while he was in the pod. Why do you think the fairies gave him new clothes?

 

I knew it wasn't because his clothes were too small, I saw the way Yen Sid looked at him.​

 

The pods must have had something to do with it, but this question is mostly just trivial... it probably doesn't matter to the plot.
But **** the plot for one second - I would have to say that he was just eating the inside of the egg! Eggs are yummy. Mmm.

 

Maybe the pod that he was placed in put him in such a hibernative state that it was not necessary to eat or whatever. I think it may be one of those "frozen in ice/preserved" kind of things. No one really knows for sure.

 

Hmm... maybe that thing he was in was like the cotdalydens (SP?) of a plant. It like fed him until he could survive on his own.

I'm more suprised he didn't pee himself. XD
