It is an interesting concept. The finer points of execution are a bit iffy but overall since it is a freehand sketch it is actually quite well done in my opinion.

I claim that powerplant in the name of Zapdos. He's sick of roosting on the ground. Anyway, it looks good from a distance, but doesn't keep the good look when zoomed it, but many sketches are like that.
You mean the setting? The building itself could be constructed in a number of different locations, therefore I left the background mostly blank, with the exception of a few partly invisible scratches here and there used to represent something. Thank you. Comparing it a bit, it does look somewhat like a Neil Gaiman cover. Sans text and proper background, anyway. I'm sure Zapdos would find this a perfect place to roost if this were to be built in the sky. And the zoomed-in quality may be due to one of two reasons: 1. The pencil I used for this was a slightly dull 3B, which could have resulted in that odd quality you see. 2. I shall reiterate; my scanner isn't exactly the best of scanners.
