The funny thing is that the second one is cheaper than the first one. And that's Mass Effect for you. What class and difficulty?
Infiltrator, Normal, no auto-aim, FINAL DESTINATION. Sniping with realistic controls is salty donkey nuts but it's not even bad aim that usually kills me, it's the fact that the game doesn't make the laughably easy and fragile enemies smarter or tougher, it just throws them at you like a bucket of fire ants. Also the targeting on skills is kinda bluh. There's a lot of other things I like about the game, but combat is seven hells frustrating. I would much rather just run *****z over in my space jeep and get back to exploring and looting like a badass OCD klepto cartographer
Sniping is pretty awful in Mass Effect. Should have gone with Vangaurd. Shotguns, Biotic Powers, easy peezy.
True, sniping is awful, but i've gotten the hang of using it often. My brother always uses his shotgun, says its better to use.
Except I tried everything else and I actually couldn't beat the first level. With snipes I made it past most of the Citadel without breaking a sweat. And then suddenly the game decided it wasn't taking my shit anymore and got way harder. Maybe I'm on the wrong planet. Is Mass Effect less nonlinear than I want it to be?
It's actually kinda linear. There's some minor exploring for resources and credits, and there are some parts where you can choose which mission to do first, but that's about it.
So ok I'm trying to find the asarian first because I figure she's the last party member I'm missing. Should I be going after one of the other objectives before then? That might explain a lot. 'Cause I'm just kinda screwin' around in space right now and everyone keeps tearing me a new noisehole. I tried that first, I wanted to be all hacky-hacky. But then I got shot. My corpse was sad. I'm playing it on Steam :L
