So here I am at the Ohio State House....

Waiting for the We the People Competition to begin. In a little while, three judges will be blown away by my amazing skills in rhetoric and knowledge of the Constitution of the United States of America. If my school wins, we go to Nationals. AM I AS PUMPED AS I SHOULD BEEEEEEEEEE?!!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

 

So what are you happy about? You saw any cute boys there?

 

No. I got to be out of school giving a speech about Government to three judges on the Supreme Court of Ohio. It was amazingly fun. Unfortunately, we only won fourth place. Sure it was out of nine, but still. Next year's class is going beat Findlay into the ground though.

It was awesome! We waited our turn, and then the judges called up Unit 5. They asked us our question for the prepared response and we answered it flawlessly! Then came follow up questions where we were asked questions about stuff like funeral protests and the 3/5 Compromise! I jumped at answering several of them! Then we went to lunch and did the whole thing AGAIN! Then we went to the awards ceremony, obtained the Fourth Place Trophy, and left! Best Friday of my life.
