It's still respecting his privacy if he willingly wanted us to know, right?

Not really. A lot of people come places online to put on their inside face so to speak. They don't want to deal with the stresses and problems and expectations of everyday life and the face they have to put on to put up with all that. So when the place where they go to get away from their troubles and relax a bit begins to be less soothing than irritating there is no longer a point to it from a logical perspective. That's when you either move on or get out of the game entirely.

I hope he's happy with his decision, and hopefully he won't lose contact with all the friends he made. I certainly won't lose contact with him anytime soon. (:

It's hard not to be stressed out by KHV.
    It's not very peaceful.

I honestly never understood people being stressed on this site, I find it very soothing, boring almost at times, but never stressful.

It's not that it isn't boring. It can be that. It's the users, not the site itself.

Sometimes I feel it's the restrictions of the site and obviously the target audience, this is a kh site, which is a childrens video game, so we get that sometimes, children joining, and they can be dull. I imagine a forum that has no real focus other than being a forum, which I know is hard to exist, a forum just being a forum, perhaps one that wasn't such a restricted topic would bring about more entertaining things.

I mean ****, we can't even swear on this site because it's a forum based on a childrens game.

Yeah, but compared to many other sites, it is pretty peaceful.

Yes, we all know the ways around swearing, my point is that by forum settings, simply saying the word **** is censored, which i find stupid, because they're censored because they're offensive? Then why is ******, and other words people take offence to not starred out, just as, if not more offensive to people.

The staff are loath to change policy or anything really without a reason they cannot ignore. I doubt the filters have changed since they were first created.

I never understood why swear words were taboo, there is nothing harmful about saying **** to someone, it's much more harmful to see "go kill yourself you fat miserable pile of scum"

but alas, for some reason saying shit is viewed as worse.
