I have to say she is an awesome writer, for those of you who don't know who she is she wrote The Outsiders, and Rumble Fish. I really enjoy reading her book, in which I must say I have read these to 50+. If you haven't heard of her go read and if you have what do you think?

I liked The Outsiders; it is quite good.

I haven't read a book by her in a looooong time; I'll have to find some.

The Outsiders is my favourite book. <_> I tend to favour sad/tragic stories for some reason.

And I absolutely loove the film. Could they have picked a hotter cast?

Unfortunately no one I know irl has seen/read it unless I've shown them, I think this is because it's not as well known in the UK. :/ I mean, when I was looking to buy the DVD a few years ago, I had to bid for a PAL copy on eBay. >_<

    Read it in 8th grade.
    I really liked it, actually.
But..it just felt like it left something to be desired. :/

The only book I read from that author was the Outsiders.

I don't know why everyone liked it... I thought it was pointless. I wasn't fond of it. I dunno. It bored me. D:

I'm reading The Outsiders this year for required reading, but I had to do a report on S.E. Hinton for my Computer Class. <>

Although, I have to give The Outsiders credit; It got a CD named after it.
