Why is it these people cant just keep there religion to themselves and not try to push it on others and blam other people for there own mistakes?

Extremists of any religion feel a threat by others who do not feel as they do. It is placed in their minds that listening to others who do not see eye to eye with them is corruption and that they do not want their children also endangered to such a corruption. This is easy to do when you tell people and mean it that if they don't believe in something you do, a fiery pit of doom for all eternity awaits you.

In the end, extremists of nearly anything are not so great for societies anywhere. They occasionally can motivate people to see their view points on a lesser scale but they are also the people who are burning Harry Potter books, pouring paint on a fur coat that they did not buy, hanging nooses in trees, get dressed up in white costumes, go about pimping and drugging as much as they can, go around hating humans in general, murdering abortion doctors and calling it just, causing wars, etc. It is often a belief that connects to religion as a backbone to strengthen their argument, but at the same time it doesn't always have to be.

There are extremists of any kind really but yes, most are found because of the core need to 'believe' to have a religion, there. It's basically something they are raised into and they will raise their kids with, or they are introduced to something and it is so full of revelation to them, it has to be the ultimate end all be all, and anyone who can't see it is automatically labeled harmful. It sucks, but that is how the basic extremist works and even some of the greatest things out there can be ruined by these sorts of people. We see so much of it lately where people attempt to justify their acts with some twisted ideology that in itself may have not been such a horrible thing. I do hope someday people will realize how harmful extremitism (which is a new made up word here) is because it is truly humanity's greatest enemy.

repliku has a good point. people sometimes need something to believe in and thats fine but live and let live. extremists and crazies just have believed in something WAY too far. Always Always Always keep an open mind.

it's a lot like the family (forgot the name) that beleive that "God" ( I might add a capital God, a monophohistic religioen, maybe even a Judeo-christian religion, which would therefor require a belief system which would then lead to free will and determinism, so anything man does is, directly or indirectly and act of God) hates America because there are Gay people in America and the government has no problem with it, and has distorted the christian gospel to make it look as it Adultary = Being Gay. They protest with America hates **** signs etc. They have brainwashed their children into beleiving that if you wear desighner clothers and are female you are a (not saying the word) and that even if you do happen to love someone of the opposite sex you are defying "God" and will burn in "Hell" forever. I am not religious but I find it Disgraceful

 

You're right, this is wrong. But they're not the only ones doing it. There are religions in America doing the exact same thing and also blaming other people for their own mistake. If their religion dictates that if you don't follow it you'll burn in hell, then why try to change people's actions if they're condemned for the crime of not choosing the same religion as you? And as far as them being the ones killing people for no good reason, you must have some information wrong, becuase last time I checked, WE'RE the ones killing the innocent for no good reason.
