It's sunny weather. How can there be a power loss? The storm was going on last night, but it isn't going on now! Do your job properly, power station people!
Dont yell at people who work tirelessly whenever a power surge occurs. Without them you would have no means to tell us useless stuff all day!
At least you don't live in Vegas, they care about supplying the power to Fremont street and pretty much all of down town first when we're hit by power loss. And that takes forever some times, so much neon, you know?
Also, far more than weather can go into the outages. For instance, new regulations, accidents, heat straining something, ground rising... The list goes on.
Well, there were some power outages (luckily, I was gone both times) while school was still going on. One of them was because they were doing maintenance, and something went wrong; the other time, a vehicle struck a pole. My mom and aunt are on their way to Seattle because my mom wants to get a chair I believe my dead grandfather had and for something else, but I don't remember what it is, and I called her all pissed about it, then she called back, saying it affected the whole town. They were at the bank trying to get cash.
Senior year, 2012. Some hero ran into a telephone pole, causing a power outage at my school. We were there for one class period (during which the principle took us out on the football field to talk to us about being safe on that day) before they let us go home. It was glorious.
